The Coming Rule of Christ: There Will Be Zombies

Jesus Christ rules everything. He has already been elevated through His Death and Ressurection, "Jesus humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor, and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Philippines 2;8-11), and "Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets. And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he created the universe. The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven. This shows that the Son is far greater than the angels, just as the name God gave him is greater than their names," (Hebrews 1:1-4), "Jesus Christ, Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved," (Acts 4:10,12), "" (John 6:40), "I and Father are One," (John 10:30), "I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me." (John 17:20-21), "waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ," (Titus 2:13), and "For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body." (Colossians 2:9). Jesus Christ is God, One with Father and Holy Spirit, Trinity. If we look to Jesus we see the Father, "Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is.From now on, you do know him and have seen him!”Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied.” Jesus replied, “Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and yet you still don’t know who I am? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father! So why are you asking me to show him to you? Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words I speak are not my own, but my Father who lives in me does his work through me. Just believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me. Or at least believe because of the work you have seen me do," (John 14:5-11), And the Father draws people to the Son, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day," (John 6:44), and the Holy Spirit comes from Father, "But I will send you the Advocate--the Spirit of truth. He will come to you from the Father and will testify all about me," (John 15:26) and "Again Jesus said to them, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent Me, so also I am sending you. "Then he breathed on them and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit." (John 20:22).

The Lord reigns in heaven and the earth is his footstool (Acts 7:49, Matthew 5:36). However, a time is coming, indeed very soon when He will rule on Earth in our midst and seen by us, "Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven with the key to the bottomless pit and a heavy chain in his hand.  He seized the dragon—that old serpent, who is the devil, Satan—and bound him in chains for a thousand years. The angel threw him into the bottomless pit, which he then shut and locked so Satan could not deceive the nations anymore until the thousand years were finished. Afterward he must be released for a little while. Then I saw thrones, and the people sitting on them had been given the authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony about Jesus and for proclaiming the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his statue, nor accepted his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They all came to life again, and they reigned with Christ for a thousand years. This is the first resurrection. (The rest of the dead did not come back to life until the thousand years had ended. Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. For them the second death holds no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him a thousand years." (Revelation 20:1-6). There is a period when Jesus Christ our God will reign on this earth for one thousand years, and we Christians shall join him. This period titled the Millienal Riegn by Eschatologists, when Jesus Comes on Clouds (Revelation 1:7) He shall judge the quick and dead (2 Timothy 4:1, 1 Peter 4:5), and destroy the wicked (Revelation 19:11-27). During this One THousand Years, Christ will fufill the Messianic Kingship prophecies, and then create a New Heaven, Earth, and the New Jerusalem will descend.

The One Thousand Year Reign of Christ is a period when the evil one will be bound (Revelation 20:2-3) and there will be war with nations. Earlier, in the Revelation, we are told Jesus descends and clears the place with the sword of His mouth, "Then I saw heaven opened, and a white horse was standing there. Its rider was named Faithful and True, for he judges fairly and wages a righteous war. His eyes were like flames of fire, and on his head were many crowns. A name was written on him that no one understood except himself. He wore a robe dipped in blood, and his title was the Word of God. The armies of heaven, dressed in the finest of pure white linen, followed him on white horses. From his mouth came a sharp sword to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. He will release the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty, like juice flowing from a winepress. On his robe at his thigh was written this title: King of all kings and Lord of all lords." (Revelation 19:11-16). From there the Prophet Zachariah tells us He shall split the Mount of Olives in two, "Then the Lord will go out to fight against those nations, as he has fought in times past. On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem. And the Mount of Olives will split apart, making a wide valley running from east to west. Half the mountain will move toward the north and half toward the south" (Zachariah 14:3-4). It is clear that Magog and Gog are still around, for after one thousand years they are lead by evil one in a final battle, "When the thousand years are complete, Satan will be released from his prison.  He will go out to deceive the nations--called Gog and Magog--in every corner of the earth. He will gather them together for battle--a mighty army, as numberless as sand along the seashore. And I saw them as they went up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded God's people and the beloved city. But fire from heaven came down on the attacking armies and consumed them. And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever. And I saw a great white throne and the one sitting on it. The earth and sky fled from his presence, but they found no place to hide. I saw the dead, both great and small, standing before God's throne. And the books were opened, including the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to what they had done, as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. And anyone whose name was not found recorded in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire." (Revelation 20:7-15). Magog and Gog are believed to be the Stans (Central Asia and Afghanistan) and Russia (The Black Sea). However, verse 8 indicates that Satan raises an army from the four corners of the Earth, so this could be a over literal translation, why those two groups are mention is puzzlingly, unless it means that two groups: Magog and Gog have conquered the Earth, which then would be Muslim and Russian, which at moment those are the two majority powers influencing the world, especially in America.

It seems evident when cross referencing Matthew 24, Zachariah 13 and 14, and Revelation 20 that during this One Thousand Year reign we will be joining Christ in fighting the unbelieving nations. This is most evidenced by the fact Magog and Gog are still around after Millennial Reign (Revelation 21:7-9), and according to Zachariah, the fighting continues after Christ stands on Mount Olivet (). There is going to be One Thousand Years more of this earth's history before it is remade (Revelation 21:1-5). Before the New Heaven and Earth, we will be with Emmanuel in Jerusalem, and presumably reigning. To reign, you have to rule, and rule there has to be subjects, not empty desolation. What is intriguing upon inspection, is that Mankind is going to get to be ruled by both the antichrist and the Christ. The antichrist rules all people for a period, "And the beast (Antichrist) was allowed to wage war against God's holy people and to conquer them. And he was given authority to rule over every tribe and people and language and nation," (Revelation 13:7), and "And the second beast (False Prophet) required all people small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead. And no one could buy or sell anything without that mark, which was either the name of the beast (antichrist) or the number representing his name.Wisdom is needed here. Let the one with understanding solve the meaning of the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. His number is 666 [see John 6:66]." (Revelation 13:16-18). However, the Christ Jesus reigns for longer, "Then I saw thrones, and the people sitting on them had been given the authority to judge. (The rest of the dead did not come back to life until the thousand years had ended.) Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. For them the second death holds no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him a thousand years." (Revelation 20:4-6). This means those on earth will get to experience what it is like to live under the evil one's power, "The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed," (Revelation 13:15), and under Emmanuel's power, "They all came to life again, and they reigned with Christ for a thousand years" (Revelation 20:6).  Everyone is going to get a taste of what it is like to live under the thief and the Abundant Ruler, "The thief  (Satan) comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I (Jesus) came that they may have life and have it abundantly." (John 10:10).

In detail we actually see that Millennial Reign of Jesus is going to involve major war, and actually the people fearing a Zombie Apocalypse have some evidence according to Prophet Zachariah, "Watch, for the day of the Lord is coming when your possessions will be plundered right in front of you! I will gather all the nations to fight against Jerusalem. The city will be taken, the houses looted, and the women raped. Half the population will be taken into captivity, and the rest will be left among the ruins of the city.
Then the Lord [the lord is Jesus see John 13:13, Romans 10:9] will go out to fight against those nations, as he has fought in times past. On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem. And the Mount of Olives will split apart, making a wide valley running from east to west. Half the mountain will move toward the north and half toward the south. You will flee through this valley, for it will reach across to Azal.[a] Yes, you will flee as you did from the earthquake in the days of King Uzziah of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and all his holy ones with him.
On that day the sources of light will no longer shine, yet there will be continuous day! Only the Lord knows how this could happen. There will be no normal day and night, for at evening time it will still be light.
On that day life-giving waters will flow out from Jerusalem, half toward the Dead Sea and half toward the Mediterranean, flowing continuously in both summer and winter.
And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day there will be one Lord—his name alone will be worshiped.
10 All the land from Geba, north of Judah, to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, will become one vast plain. But Jerusalem will be raised up in its original place and will be inhabited all the way from the Benjamin Gate over to the site of the old gate, then to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s winepresses. 11 And Jerusalem will be filled, safe at last, never again to be cursed and destroyed.
12 And the Lord will send a plague on all the nations that fought against Jerusalem. Their people will become like walking corpses, their flesh rotting away. Their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths. 13 On that day they will be terrified, stricken by the Lord with great panic. They will fight their neighbors hand to hand. 14 Judah, too, will be fighting at Jerusalem. The wealth of all the neighboring nations will be captured—great quantities of gold and silver and fine clothing. 15 This same plague will strike the horses, mules, camels, donkeys, and all the other animals in the enemy camps.
16 In the end, the enemies of Jerusalem who survive the plague will go up to Jerusalem each year to worship the King, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, and to celebrate the Festival of Shelters. 17 Any nation in the world that refuses to come to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, will have no rain. 18 If the people of Egypt refuse to attend the festival, the Lord will punish[e] them with the same plague that he sends on the other nations who refuse to go. 19 Egypt and the other nations will all be punished if they don’t go to celebrate the Festival of Shelters.
20 On that day even the harness bells of the horses will be inscribed with these words: Holy to the lord. And the cooking pots in the Temple of the Lord will be as sacred as the basins used beside the altar.
21 In fact, every cooking pot in Jerusalem and Judah will be holy to the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. All who come to worship will be free to use any of these pots to boil their sacrifices. And on that day there will no longer be traders in the Temple of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies." (Zachariah 14:1-21).
All of what Zachariah foretells is fulfilled in John's Revelation by Jesus Christ, and so we see Zachariah has details of Millennial reign, "And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who was riding it is called Faithful and True (trustworthy, loyal, incorruptible, steady), and in righteousness He judges and wages war [on the rebellious nations]. 12 His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many royal crowns; and He has a name inscribed [on Him] which no one knows or understands except Himself. 13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in [f]blood, and His name is called The Word of God [Jesus Christ, see John 1:1-19]. 14 And the armies of heaven, dressed in fine linen, [dazzling] white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 From His mouth comes a sharp sword (His word) with which He may strike down the nations, and He will [g]rule them with a rod of iron; and He will tread the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty [in judgment of the rebellious world].
16 And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name inscribed, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. 17 Then I saw a single angel standing in the sun, and with a loud voice he shouted to all the birds that fly in midheaven, saying, “Come, gather together for the great supper of God,
18 so that you may feast on the flesh of kings, the flesh of commanders, the flesh of powerful and mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all humanity, both free men and slaves, both small and great [in a complete conquest of evil].19 Then I saw the beast and the kings and political leaders of the earth with their armies gathered to make war against Him who is mounted on the [white] horse and against His army. 20 And the beast (Antichrist) was seized and overpowered, and with him the false prophet who, in his presence, had performed [amazing] signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were hurled alive into the lake of fire which blazes with brimstone.
21 And the rest were killed with the sword which came from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse, and all the birds fed ravenously and gorged themselves with their flesh." (Revelation 19:11-21), "Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven with the key to the bottomless pit and a heavy chain in his hand.
For them the second death holds no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him a thousand years." (Revelation 20:1-6), "When the thousand years are complete, Satan will be released from his prison. And anyone whose name was not found recorded in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire." (Revelation 20:7-15), and "Then I heard a mighty voice from the Temple say to the seven angels, “Go your ways and pour out on the earth the seven bowls containing God’s wrath.”
So the first angel left the Temple and poured out his bowl on the earth, and horrible, malignant sores broke out on everyone who had the mark of the beast and who worshiped his statue.
Then the second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it became like the blood of a corpse. And everything in the sea died.
Then the third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs, and they became blood. And I heard the angel who had authority over all water saying,
“You are just, O Holy One, who is and who always was,
because you have sent these judgments.
Since they shed the blood
of your holy people and your prophets,
you have given them blood to drink.
    It is their just reward.”
And I heard a voice from the altar,[a] saying,
“Yes, O Lord God, the Almighty,
your judgments are true and just.”
Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, causing it to scorch everyone with its fire. Everyone was burned by this blast of heat, and they cursed the name of God, who had control over all these plagues. They did not repent of their sins and turn to God and give him glory.
10 Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was plunged into darkness. His subjects ground their teeth[b] in anguish, 11 and they cursed the God of heaven for their pains and sores. But they did not repent of their evil deeds and turn to God.
12 Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great Euphrates River, and it dried up so that the kings from the east could march their armies toward the west without hindrance. 13 And I saw three evil[c] spirits that looked like frogs leap from the mouths of the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet. 14 They are demonic spirits who work miracles and go out to all the rulers of the world to gather them for battle against the Lord on that great judgment day of God the Almighty.
15 “Look, I will come as unexpectedly as a thief! Blessed are all who are watching for me, who keep their clothing ready so they will not have to walk around naked and ashamed.”
16 And the demonic spirits gathered all the rulers and their armies to a place with the Hebrew name Armageddon.[d]
17 Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air. And a mighty shout came from the throne in the Temple, saying, “It is finished!” 18 Then the thunder crashed and rolled, and lightning flashed. And a great earthquake struck—the worst since people were placed on the earth. 19 The great city of Babylon split into three sections, and the cities of many nations fell into heaps of rubble. So God remembered all of Babylon’s sins, and he made her drink the cup that was filled with the wine of his fierce wrath. 20 And every island disappeared, and all the mountains were leveled. 21 There was a terrible hailstorm, and hailstones weighing as much as seventy-five pounds[e] fell from the sky onto the people below. They cursed God because of the terrible plague of the hailstorm," (Revelation 16:1-21).

Because I promised Zombies here are two verses, "And the Lord will send a plague on all the nations that fought against Jerusalem. Their people will become like walking corpses, their flesh rotting away. Their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths, On that day they will be terrified, stricken by the Lord with great panic. They will fight their neighbors hand to hand" (Zachariah 14:12) and "During those days people will seek death but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them." (Revelation 9:6). So in point of fact, the Zombie Apocalypse comes from Zachariah, however, it isn't a virus that makes them, it is LORD's curse and plague upon those who fight against Him and His people in Jerusalem. So for all of you Zombie Apocalypse types, if you don't want to become a Zombie, then you need to become a Christian, "If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved/because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved,"
(Romans 10:9-10), "For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day" (John 6:40), "..Jesus Christ, Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved."
" (Acts 4:10, 12), and refuse to fight against Jerusalem and Jesus Christ! So just as Global Warming was foretold in Bible, "Next, the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was given power to scorch the people with fire, They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him." (Revelation 16:8-9) and cannot be stopped, but Christians will survive it (see my post, Global Warming), so the only way to not become a Zombie is to become a follower of the A to Z, the Alpha and Omega, Jesus Christ!

It is ironic that Hollywood and people today are actually obsessed with two elements in the End of Days, Global Warning and Zombies. They aren't suppose to be focus on these things, but the fact people right now are focused on Global Warming and Walking Dead, is as I have said in former post, an indicator we are in the Last Days. I suggest that we do as Christ warns us to do in these times, "Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent," (Revelation 3:19), "(“Behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is he who stays awake and who keeps his clothes [that is, stays spiritually ready for the Lord’s return], so that he will not be naked—spiritually unprepared—and men will not see his shame," (Revelation 16:15 AMP), "This means that God's holy people must endure persecution patiently, obeying his commands and maintaining their faith in Jesus," (Revelation 14:12), "And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, “Come out of her, my people, so that you will not be a partner in her sins and receive her plagues; for her sins (crimes, transgressions) have piled up as high as heaven, and God has remembered her wickedness and crimes [for judgment]. Repay to her even as she has repaid others, and pay back [to her] double [her torment] in accordance with what she has done; in the cup [of sin and suffering] which she mixed, mix a double portion [of perfect justice] for her," (Revelation 18:4-6), and I would head all warnings to churches Christ Jesus the Alpha and Omega gives to the Churches in Revelation Chapters One, Two, and Three.

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These w

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come and died for our sins an

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few people are endeavo
