Hollywood's War on Christianity

There is a new series based on dystopian book called The Hand Maiden's Tale (2017). This story tells of totalitarian theocracy that is Christian that has an infertile society, and so makes handmaids get pregenant in rituals according to Biblical precent. This is part of the major thrust against Christianity. This story is actually how Muslim Sharia societies are, with women not able to read, drive, or do anything but bred, but instead Hollywood with a 1980 book is going to make it look like Christians are this way. The twist is ever in front of us. there is Lucifer (2015-2017) a series that pities Satan, Star Wars The Last Jedi (Dec 15, 2017) trailer and poster came out on Good Friday and features Luke Skywalker wanting the protectors of peace, the Jedi to end. It is evident there is a whole sale, global, and media target of us Christians. The war against us is breaking out on all fronts. In Sinai, and Syria Christians are being shot and crucified, here in West there is propagandic films and shows to caste doubt on Biblical values or to twist what Christianity is like in "Spotlight" (2015) with Michael Keaton, "Silence" (2016) with Liam Nesson, and many other films.

This week there are two films in theaters exposing the Truth, Christian Bale in "The Promise" the untold story of genocide of Armenians by Ottoman Turkish Muslims, I have friends who had grand parents die in this holocaust of Armenians. There is Lee Strobel's The Case for Christ (2017), which approaches the Gospel from a analytical, choleric, and scientific approach. I frankly can't vouche for Lee Strobel's film, I haven't seen it to examine if its Biblical or some Christian mistake. I have noticed and learned most of biblical epics people loved, Ben Hur (1959), Ten Commandments (1956), Quo Vadis (1951) and The Robe (1953) were made because directors wanted to do semi-pornographic scenes, and only way to do so in those days was to do a biblical film and cry "historical accuracy" when women's nibbles were seen under thin silk outfits. Worse still, it is well known fact in Hollywood that actors and actresses must do sexual favors to get into films and get favor. Then you have Stephen Spielberg, and antichrist who in Jurassic Park (1993) has the only Catholic, Generro, be eaten after saying a hail Mary, and help me Jesus by the T-Rex on the toilet, you have Stephen Spielberg's sequel to Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997) which features the only Christian, Dietrich who is known for his electrical Taser weapon and is eaten by the Compys in most gruesome scene in the film is Eastern Orthodox Christian. Spielberg opens his film Jaws (1975), a horror film about Great White Shark with a women who promiscuous and swims naked and is eaten by the shark, which actually Lamia is a shark god who is mother of all sirens (mermaids) and prostitutes, interesting. Then Spielberg's Indiana Jones: Raider's of Lost Ark (1981) make Yahweh seem terrifying, that his Ark contains phantoms that make people bleed from eyes, when in Bible actually people who touched it just died like someone dying from a stroke or heart failure, in a second. Then Spielberg in Indiana Jones and Last Crusade (1989), makes Christ seem like someone to be craven around, has Muslims protecting Grail with fez caps (a sign of Christian blood shed), and then the whole Cup of Christ scene is like Russian roulette. George Lucas makes the major weapon in Star Wars: A New Hope and Return of Jedi, the Death Star in design of Globus Crusiger, globe Jesus holds as Salvator Mundi Savior of World, which usually in art is grey like the Death Star! Disney opens Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2016) with an occultist cross (upside down) on star destroying covering the planet of light, and the villain Kylo Ren has cross hilted lightsaber.

It is evident there is an all out assault on us Christians in media. This should not surprise us, for Jesus warned us, "Everyone will hate you because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved," (Mark 13:13), "And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved. When they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For assuredly, I say to you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes," (Matthew 10:22-23), "Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved," (Jesus Christ, Matthew 24:9-13), "And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.  And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world," (Revelation 13:7-8), "The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name," (Revelation 13:15-17), "I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years," (Revelation 20:4), "For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths," (2 Timothy 4:3-4), and "Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons," (1 Timothy 4:1),. A time is coming that will test all believers, because we aren't going to be liked, everything is going to be blamed on us. When terror struck Pres. Obama mentioned the Crusades, but failed to talk about Jihad Akbar as a tenant of Islam and the Quran. Hollywood is trying to create sympathy for devil, make Christians look like Muslim terrorists or like a theocracy akin to Hunger Games Capitol, and discredit the Church. Even the Christian films aren't without flaws, many of them outright wrong, like Son of God (2014) altering key scenes from the New Testament, the monstrous gnostic The Young Messiah (2016), and the almost bloodlust A.D. The Bible Continues (2015), honestly just as Hollywood made Biblical movies back in Golden Age to show nudity and sexual decadence, modern so called Christina movie makers seem to what to bring Coliseum to views in guise of Christian epics, and they often include distorted heretical Christian thought, as in case of Roma Downey and Mark Burnett's The Bible Series (2013), A.D. The Bible Continues, and Son of God.

At this point I think we as Christians need to stop funding the cinema, and be very picky about what we go see. Sometimes a good film comes out, I am going to see The Promise and will provide a review. But most of films now are antichristian, antichrist (1 John 4:3, 1 John 2:18), and aimed at maligning us when we aren't the ones bombing, cutting, and killing people in Paris and other parts of the world, that's the Muslim zealots not Christians! But make no mistake Hollywood's goal is to attack traditional values, but more specifically Christ, Christianity, and Christians. Get ready my brothers and sisters in Christ, persecution is here and it will be on steroids soon. Time to press into Jesus, pray, and get ready, know the Holy Bible, and move in Holy Spirit. Take heart, Jesus is going to return and avenge us, "Then the man of lawlessness will be revealed, but the Lord Jesus will kill him with the breath of his mouth and destroy him by the splendor of his coming," (2 Thessalonians 2:8), " And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses. From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS," (Revelation 19:11-16), and "And they marched across the broad expanse of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. But fire came down from heaven and consumed them. Then the devil, who had deceived them, was thrown into the fiery lake of burning sulfur, joining the beast and the false prophet. There they will be tormented day and night forever and ever." (Revelation 20:9-10). Jesus is coming on clouds to rescue us (Revelation 1:7, Matthew 24:29-30), but that does not mean we won't suffer until then (Revelation 14:12-13) because Jesus our LORD and God did suffer (John 19) and we must follow His example (1 Peter 4:1). Our Lord Jesus is trying to prepare us, He doesn't delight in us suffering but warns us it would happen, "For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders that would deceive even the elect, if that were possible. See, I have told you ahead of time," (Matthew 24:24-25), and "So be on your guard; I have told you everything ahead of time." (Mark 13:23), and "If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A slave is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they kept My word, they will keep yours also. But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know the One who sent Me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. He who hates Me hates My Father also. If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would not have sin; but now they have both seen and hated Me and My Father as well. But they have done this to fulfill the word that is written in their Law, ‘They hated Me without a cause." (John 15:18-25). Do not fear, but be ready, "Behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is he who stays awake and who keeps his clothes [that is, stays spiritually ready for the Lord’s return], so that he will not be naked—spiritually unprepared—and men will not see his shame," (Revelation 16:15 AMP), my friends and family in Christ, persecution is here to stay.

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. The...

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come...

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few peop...
