Demon Sauce & K-Pop

The powers of this present darkness    are becoming more and more overt. The popularity of the demonic has surged in media with Demon Slayer, an anime, becoming massively popular and K-Pop, a Korean Group that includes their Demon Hunters story of them doing protective powers over audiences and in the Netflix movie fighting a demonic band called Saja. One of characters in Demon Hunters Movie is a half demon named Rumi who is good, and Korean Shamanism/Mythology is laced throughout The K-Pop concerts, which reminds me of the apostle’s words, “For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.” (2 Timothy 4:3-4) and “But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons.” (1 Timothy 4:1). The We...

Eastern & Western Holy Weeks

The dispute over the proper Pascha, over Easter was once a major issue in The Church. The issue arose over solar and lunar calendars. The West used The Gregorian Calendar, which used the sun for time of day, days, and months, and year while The Eastern Churches used The Julian Calendar which used the moon. What inevitably happened is as the church split, so did the celebrations, so while Good Friday was April 3rd for Western Churches, the Eastern Churches are celebrating on April 10th.  We could become dismayed that the whole Church family around the world    is not unified and celebrating Passion Week and Easter at the same time. One could echo the words of our Lord Emmanuel, “I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me.” (John 17:20-21). An...

The Empty Tomb

All over the world tombs exist for the founders. Judaism’ principle founder Moses is buried in The Valley of Moab (Deuteronomy 34-:5-6), Islam’s Prophet Muhammed’s tomb is in the Green Dome Mosque in Medina, Saudi Arabia, Buddha who was cremated has multiple shrines with his ashes, and Joseph Smith is buried in his Family Cemetery in Illinois. Only Christianity, our faith has people flocking to an empty tomb, for its significance is not that Christ is still buried there, but that He was buried there, but “He is not here, He is Risen.” (Matthew 28:6).  Around the world people flock to shrines of their sacred and holy leaders, because they were all mortal men who died. In stark contrast, Jesus who is God and Man did not stay dead, He rose from death, “On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jes...

April 3rd The Actual Day of The Crucifixion

In time for Good Friday, people are posting about The Geologists in 2012 who were studying earthquakes from Jerusalem to The Dead Sea and found evidence there was a quake in the time of Pontius Pilate, between 26-39 A.D ( https://www.nbcnews.com/id/wbna47555983 ,  https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-15595731/biblical-earthquake-jesus-crucifixion-dead-sea.html ).    The Gospels tell us,  “And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and[ c ] went into the holy cityand appeared to many people.” (Matthew 27:50-53). There is astronomical evidence of an eclipse happening April 3rd, 33 A.D. because that was when a blood moon eclipse happened ( https://science.nasa.gov/eclipse...
