God is Waiting For Our Prayers, PMs, Texts, and Instagrams

Jesus is waiting for our prayers. Just as we wait for package or mail (email these days) from people we love, so Jesus waits for our prayers. Obviously prayer isn't just a request line, though Jesus hears our requests, our prayers are to communicate with Christ. Just as we get excited about facebook or twitter containing those highlighted red symbols telling us we have comments, likes, and other communique, so it is with our Lord. He wants to hear from us, He died on cross to reconcile us to Him, so we can "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." (Hebrew 4:16). Our prayers are a sweet incense before God, "And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, rose up before God from the hand of the angel." (Revelation 8:4) and He delights in responding in moment of our prayer, afterwards, or sometimes we preempts us and knowing our hearts and minds (1 Samuel 16:7) answers before we can ask (Matthew 9:4). Don't you enjoy getting texts, Instagram photos, pins on Pin interest, responses on Forums, commenting on facebook, phone calls, and more? Well so does the One True Trinity God who has paid for more than data, and cellular service, He sent his Son Jesus Christ to die for our connection service!

God does not begrudge our time spent talking to friends, neighbors, and other people. But the commands are, "" (Matthew 22:36-40). The Lord wants to hear from us, to connect, communicate, and converse just as much as we do with people. I wonder if in Heaven, the Trinity has mail box (like picture) or angel with super advanced tablet, and waits for pings, text messages, private messages, and more from us? I know I am sad when I log on to facebook and there is no activity, no red sign of anyone taking notice or saying hi to me, how much more so for God who bled for us, died for us, and suffered humiliation for us, taking our sin away and keep us from hell? Jesus doesn't want to be shelved tell Sunday or only get Birthday card on Easter, He wants to be involved in your life, share your pictures, joys, sorrows, and talk into night. Much harm has been done by people who taught that God only hangs out in church buildings, He is everywhere and He made everything (John 1:3, Colossians 1:16). Jesus goes on walks with you and enjoys the Creation He made, or a boat adventure, or even to a movie, He may even speak to you through movie! Don't forget to PM the Prince of Peace and Messiah or forget to Text the Trinity. He wants to chat, and loves you so much. He put your gifts, talents, skills, and interests in you, so talk them out with Him. He enjoys when you enjoy other people too, so don't think He's into hermit thing (although we do have our seasons of hermiting lol). Remember that He loves you and wants to be with you, and that means hearing from you. So when make time to PM Jesus just as you do other people during day, and listen for His response you know those ... and then ping.

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These w

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come and died for our sins an

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few people are endeavo
