Spirit of Death At Work In Our World

The Global Suicide rate is “at 1.9 out of 1000,000 people. That comes to 1 out 100 people worldwide.” (Wikipedia). Suicide is not anything new, King Saul threw himself on his sword at prospect of being captured, and Judas Iscariot after betraying Jesus hung himself. What is unique is the uptick, the rise in this century. I believe this trend and the obsession with death, particularly the prevalence of horror movies now is a sign of something more. It is not just a passing fancy, it is Biblical Fufillment.  We have to remember something first. The original angel of death was Satan, ”Now since the children have flesh and blood, He too shared in their humanity, so that by His death He might destroy him who holds the power of death, that is, the devil,” (Hebrews 2:14). One of the devil’s offices was custodian of death, I believe Anubis the god of the underworld in the Egyptian pantheons is based on him. If we understand this, then Satan is likely not given up on exerting this po...

Aliens are Demons

I wrote a blog post not too long ago postulating that aliens might be a different species, and not angels. After some more rumination on the topic, I have come to conclusion that aliens, that is extra-terrestials are demonic entiries. This is a very traditonal Christian view of aliens, and yet I believe that case I am going to make will prove this to be true. The first problem with aliens or extra terrestial life is that it posits God as an alien, twisting Ezekiel 1. Alien can mean “not from here,” so that would seem accurate, however, alien as it now means implies a certain type of being that is not human and is not spirit, when Christ our Lord said, “God is Spirit, and his Worshippers must worship him in spirit and truth.” (John 4:24).  The first sign aliens are demonic is that they draw people away from God for explanations and focus, when the Hebrew writer says, “fix your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Prefector of our Faith,” (Hebrews 12:2) and the Apostle Paul says, “I ...

The Occult: The Thread of the Serpent

The world Occult means “hidden” or “secret.” It generally is the seeking of mysteries and powers through magical means. Jesus Christ our Lord ]made it clear that He was not an occultist, “Jesus answered him, “I have spoken openly to the world. I have always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where all Jews come together. I have said nothing in secret.” (John 18:20). There is a heretical sect known as Gnostic Christianity that claims to know secret knowledge, which makes it occult by definition and Jesus clearly rebukes this in the Apocalypse, “But the rest of you in Thyatira have not followed this evil teaching; you have not learned what the others call 'the deep secrets of Satan.' I say to you that I will not put any other burden on you..” (Revelation 2:24). And that is exactly was Occultism is, evil teachings and deep secrets of Satan. In almost all the high occultic traditions and even demonic powers the serpent is a focus. In Egyptian Occult the top powers are Anacon...

Woman: The Gateway of Sin

Many scholars and exegetists will claim that Sin came into the world by Man, by Adam. that the codex for Original Sin is Patriarchal, that this explains aggression in man, and why wars happen. This is false, sin did not first come into the world by a man, rather a partnership between The Deceiver Satan and the first Woman Eve:  “You will not surely die,” the serpent told the woman.“For God knows that in the day you eat of it, your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.  When the woman saw that the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eyes, and that it was desirable for obtaining wisdom, she took the fruit and ate it. She also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate it.” (Genesis 3:4-7). It was Eve, not Adam that participated first in this disobedience. She certainly was being Deceived by the Serpent who is Satan, “And the great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the wh...

The Spiritual Consequences of Innovation

Technology has done many great things for human kind. As Christians we benefit from the breadth of information we can glean from to become more informed in our Faith. At the same time though, Tech like a double edge sword, points an edge at ourselves, and even to God, as it can be used to make war on Kingdom of Heaven in ways that are not as obvious. I have chosen some things that technology has effected spiritually, and will unpack whither this is good or bad.  The Epidural  In the 1970’s a ‘miracle’ was spread that could reduce and even eliminate the pain of child birth. Medical and Science experts were thrilled a tool was given that could calm the mothers giving birth and decrease the chances of harm to the newborn or the mother. However, there is a consequence that    this has had spiritually. In the Garden of Eden, it was Eve that first sinned, who took the forbidden fruit at behest of the Serpent, and then handing it to Adam. God in addition to banishing...

Christian Mutants

Skillet, Christian Grunge Metal Rock Band There has been trend for many Christians to adopt the garb of sub cultures such as the Goth, Punk, and other sub cultures. To look like Alice Cooper and Kiss, and something in between to attract people in those communities. This trend I believe parallels the Seeking Friendly Movement, which sought to make churches more appealing to the world with concert like bands, and coffee houses. The problem is that this mutation (latin Mutantar) is not something the apostles did. You do not see the Apostles James, John, Peters, or Even Paul dress up like Children of Darkness to preach the gospel through lifestyle evangelism. No they got up and shared, “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.” (Ephesians 5:8-11...
