The first time I ever heard the name Lilith was watching Cheers, and later Fraiser, she was a character of cold personality who Fraiser Crane marries and has a child with. Every joke about her spoke of the legends of her contained in The Gilgamish, The Bablyonian Talmud, The Book of Zohar, The Alphabet Ben Sira, and other Jewish Mystical Writings like the Midrash. This concept that Lilith is a first wife of Adam is found in Roman Catholicism and Judaism.
