Holidays vs. Holydays

St. Patties Day is coming and already retail corporations are commercializing it. It is quite appalling how every holiday in Christendom has been secularized. Christmas is about Santa the Genie, Easter about a Bunny, Valentine's Day about chocolates and sex, and St. Patrick's Day getting drunk with ale.  I wonder if anyone who celebrates St. Patties Day even remembers that St. Patrick purged Ireland of the serpents (demons) and unified the country in Christianity. Just like Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day it is about selling a product. We as Christians have let humanistic people take our holidays and taint them with depravity and debauchery. Christmas is suppose to be a celebration of Christ being born, his birthday. Instead it's about getting presents and worshiping Santa, which ironically unscrambled spells Satan. Valentine's Day which was to remember a saint who died defying Caesar who said no one may marry has become about gluttony and sexual immoralit

Sons of Suffering

There are two godly generations who have been subjected to genocide throughout history. These Generations are Christians and Jews. In WWII, " 12 Million Christians and 7 Million Jews were  slaughtered in the horrific Holocaust." (Rosemary Schindler). In Armenia, during the Ottoman Empire 1 Million Christian Armenians were rounded up and annihilated. We are the people of the Book. In every age we are targeted for extermination. We are brothers in blood. Regimes rise to ravage us, but still we survive. We differ in our beliefs about the Messiah, but we are a family forged in suffering. The Communists hated us and so did the Romans. Emperor Nero and Caligula made martrys of the Early Christians (est. 100,000 total killed ); while Emperor Titus made martrys of the Zionist Jews ( est . 1,000,700-1,500,000 killed ). We have fought and died together. This is fitting because in the beginning we were truly a family; we Christians were called the Messianic Sect of Judaism. Jesu
