What Made America Great

As the Fourth of July approaches I thought    it worth revisiting what made The United States great. It was not a certain leader, it was not a political ideology, or economic methodology. No according to q very unbiased study in China,    it is one thing that made America great, Christianity, that is Christ!. And yet in schools they ban it, in politics they demonize Christians are pro-life monsters, and so forth. The truth is the evil doers who wish to destroy The Light and Glory, The City On A Hill know the only way to annihilate The Red, White, and Blue is to remove the Red Blood of Jesus, The White Robes of Saints, and the Blue horizons of Heaven. This is why paganisms are creeping in via Mindful Breathing, and messages that are meant to subvert Christianity in every sphere of academia, judicial, political, economic, entertainment, and beyond: they ban Christian prayer, crushing Christian cake makers who refuse to do wedding caked for those who have values that contradict theirs,

Mindful Breathing

In New York they will be having children doing Mindful Breathing exercises. Mindful breathing comes from Yoga, which is Hindu and Buddhist. This is a soft recruiting method to indoctrinate the youth. The Eastern demonic doctrines are hard at work, people already say “Its Karma,” instead of “they reap what they sow,” and “The Universe answered,” rather than “God answered,” or “Providence.” All of this is to replace our Judeo-Christian values with paganisms. Even major companies are called Car Gurus and Credit Karma, gurus are the rabbi mystics of Hinduism and Karma is Buddhist-Hindu’s version receiving what you deserve.  There is a concentrated effort to inundate us with Buddhist-Hindu teachings. Mindful breathing is simply one of the serpents to slither into our lives. It is interesting doctors and now schools are peddling it, I wonder if you could institute Our Father Prayer time and Bible recitations? I doubt it, they will cry, “separate of Church and State,”    oh but not separate

Faith In What We Cannot See

Right now the world is asking the Saints to compromise, to set aside God’s glorious standard and even perhaps prefer the pleasures of this life to promises of our Lord Jesus. It can be hard, “our spirit is willing , but our flesh us weak.” (Matthew 26:40). And yet if we endure, if we do not yield to temptation, and refuse to compromise our faith for the lies of the world we shall be rewarded with promised crowns, “in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing,” (2 Timothy 4:8, and “Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.”(James 1:12), and “Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, so that you will be tested, and you will have tribulation for ten days. Be fa

We Believe

Our Church is being assailed from within and without. The Rock is being beaten by the waves of darkness, and we are overwhelmed. In this time of desperation we need to sing as the Newsboys adapting the Creed say,  “In this time of desperation When all we know is doubt and fear There is only one foundation We believe We believe In this broken generation When all is dark, You help us see There is only one salvation We believe We believe We believe in God the Father We believe in Jesus Christ We believe in the Holy Spirit And He's given us new life We believe in the crucifixion We believe that He conquered death We believe in the resurrection And He's comin' back again We believe So, let our faith be more than anthems Greater than the songs we sing And in our weakness and temptations We believe We believe We believe in God the Father We believe in Jesus Christ We believe in the Holy Spirit And He's given us new life We believe in the crucifixion We believe that He conquere

The Thing Fracturing The Church

The Methodists are in turmoil as they schism over ordination of homosexual clergy. The same has happened to The Lutherans, Presbyterian, and even The Anglicans are having a stand off over it as the Council of Bishops resist The Archbishop’s desire to ordain homosexuals.    The sexual orientation issue has bled into all spheres, it is tearing schools apart, families apart, and the Church is rocking like a ship on violent t rainbow colored seas.  The contention from the homosexual side is that the list of those who are considered barred from ordination is not just gays, “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.” (1 Corinthians 6:9-11). That surly straight pastors gossip, and according to statistics are part of 96% of men doing porno

Bury or Cremate?

When a loved one passes away the question of whither to cremate or to bury is posed. Some claim that Scripture condemns cremation because King Josiah took buried bones out the tombs, and burned them to defile them on the altar (2 Kings 23:16-20)  and that pagans were known to burn their dead. The problem is that The Law does not forbid burning the dead, Josiah’s action is no different than King David taking the bread meant for priests  (1 Samuel 21:6), it is an exception, not a rule of the Law, let me say that again, The Law of Moses does not forbid burning bodies and cremating them,  but regardless if it did  we are under a New Covenant, not the Old one. We have liberty in Christ, “Even that question came up only because of some so-called believers there—false ones, really—who were secretly brought in. They sneaked in to spy on us and take away the freedom we have in Christ Jesus. They wanted to enslave us and force us to follow their Jewish regulations,” (Galatians 2:4). And what i

Sexuality: We Gotta Talk About It

Every day it seems a sexual scandal rocks the church. There is even a statistic that 95% of men do porn, including pastors. The response to this is usually doubling down on righteous living and regeneration preaching. The problem is muscling trying to be righteous never works and ignores the root of the problem. The Church since the Middle Ages adopted Plato as a interpreter of Scripture, and Christian living. Plato believed in two separate spheres, the temporal or flesh, and the spiritual realm. While the apostle Paul does make these distinctions as well, there is a flaw inherent in dividing our natures in dualities, the inevitable heresies of Catharism and Nestorianism which taught this world & the flesh is evil    and the spiritual is good will take root. While the church does not take this to the farthest extreme, there is a sense that the spiritual is more important, and that the flesh is prone to sin and thus gets criticized. It is sad we fail to look to Jesus who is perfec

The Cross

The Cross is central symbol of Christian faith. All four gospels have some different accounts of who else Jesus healed, preached to, and etc, reminding us of John’s words, “Now there are also many other things that Jesus did. Were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.” (John 21:25). But all four gospels have the crucifixion and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus, with the crucifixion and its lead up in great detail. This is because all the writers of the gospel accounts make central the Crucifixion of Jesus, The Cross.   Theologian Brunner put it so well,  “The Cross is the sign of the Christian faith, of the Christian Church, of the revelation of God in Jesus Christ....The whole struggle of the Reformation for the sola fide, the soli deo gloria, was simply the struggle for the right interpretation of the Cross. He who understands the Cross aright – this is the opinion of the Reformers – understands the Bible,
