  I was very skeptical about A Great Awakening movie. I worried it would be the atypical low budget Christian film that would have no heart ans yet have plenty of preaching. How wrong I was. The Great Awakening follows Benjamin Franklin in middle of divisive political tensions that could be the sunset of America after it has barely been born. He seeks solace in memoirs of George Whitefield, a friend and business partner who was a Preacher from England that came to American Colonies. In an iconic scene when Whitefield preaches from a balcony, Franklin verifies that George’s voice could reach 30,000 people! This is actually a true experiment from Franklin and a testament to Whitefield God given voice!  One of Whitefield’s lines is “Awake O Sleeper!” which he says like a drum and then “awake!” Which is from The Scripture, “Awake, O sleeper, andarise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” (Ephensians 5:14).   The internet has become a tool for good and ill. As Christians we can use it to access information that helps us in our faith walk. However, in addition to the benefits is the risks. There is growing trend online where witches and warlocks are using technology to do their spells. One of obvious ways this manifests is in sigils of Satan, pentagrams, and demonic imagery that either flashed subliminally in YouTube videos, or full on rites done on a person they create a bond with. Many are skeptical that magic and crafts can be done over screens, but those same skeptics cannot deny many had to get exorcists after seeing The Exorcist film    () and that movies & music can contain Occultic rites. Why then would the internet be not a tool for this evil? It allows video, art, footage of real rites, and the ability ti embed images with superimposing.   Deconstructing one’s faith has become very vogue. Many renowned pastors and celebrities in the church have employed this process in an attempt to reform. In Deconstruction there tends to be a spectrum, there are those like Jonathan Harris, the author of I Kissed Dating Goodbye, that has in deconstruction process lost his faith, and then there is the the song by David Dunn, “I wanna go back to Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so, for the Bible tells me, yes Jesus loves me, Yes Jesus loves me.”  Deconstructing can be useful when it is to step out of bad doctrines and trends in the church. The Prosperity Gospel and Doctrine is a good example, that someone would have to deconstruct their faith in Christ from it because it is a wrongful and harmful doctrine.
