Hurricane Harvey: Harbinger For Healing

Our hearts and prayers go out to those in Houston, Corpus Christi, and Southern Texas [and those in Louisiana and anywhere else that has suffered] that have been hurt and even harmed by Hurricane Harvey . The death toll is at twenty five and rising. Many are mourning, and should take solace in Christ both in prayer and in His manifestations through the help and relief of Operation Blessing, Red Cross, FEMA , Other Aide Organizations, and Ordinary Citizens who have lending help with their own hands and boats. While I would never would want to trivialize the loss of the victims of Texas, I do want to say that in middle of such devastation God is doing something perhaps not televised. The entire nation, particularly Pensacola, Florida, Arkansas, Louisiana, and many of states of America have sent relief, police, fire fighters, and other aid weither monetary, spiritually, or boots on ground to help in crisis. This Hurricane Harvey is Harbinger of healing, the healing I mean is in regards

The Tribulation

The Tribulation is perhaps the most disputed part of Eschatology, with The Rapture being a close second. Many do not believe Christians go through Tribulation or Great Tribulation. Let us look at the meaning of word Tribulation. Tribulation: Greek,  θλῖψις, εως, ἡ,  thlipsis, persecution, affliction, distress,  thlípsis – properly, pressure (what constricts or rubs together), used of a narrow place that "hems someone in"; tribulation , especially internal pressure that causes someone to feel confined (restricted, "without options").  thlípsis ("compression, tribulation") carries the challenge of coping with the internal pressure of a tribulation , especially when feeling there is "no way of escape" ("hemmed in")." (Strong's Greek). As we see Tribulation is actually internally, it is a spiritual pressure as well as persecution from outside as seen in Apocalypse, "It was also given to him to make war with the saints

Two Baptisms: Update 8/21/2017

Baptism is a essential of the Christian Life. Most denominations make a point of baptizing people in water. Catholics and Orthodox do infant baptism, this harkens from the Middle Ages and perilous times when infanticide and infant mortality rates were incredibly high. Anabaptists who emerged during Reformation times believed you had to be an adult who was conscious of what you are participating in to be baptized. They take their doctrine of adult baptism from the Scriptures, that everyone who was baptized by John the Baptist was an adult (Mark 1:4-7). The First Baptism is when a person confesses Jesus as Lord and believes in Him in their heart (Romans 10:9-10, John 6:40). In one case something very supernaturally happened at a conversion to Christianity water baptism, " Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning with this Scripture he told him the good news about Jesus. And as they were going along the road they came to some water, and the eunuch said, “See, here is water! Wha

From the Crucifixion to Coming on the Clouds

As Christians we rejoice in remembering what the LORD has done. The Crucifixion of Jesus Christ, the One True God is fixed in our hearts and minds as reminder of what God has done to redeem us from our sins and let us enter into eternal life. The cross is our symbol, our badge of honor as we profess that Jesus died for our sins and rose from dead! (Romans 4:24-25). We are effected daily by Christ's sacrifice on cross, the blood of the Lamb cleanses us daily from our transgressions (1 John 1:7) and we have blessed hope of eternal life through believing, confessing, and knowing Jesus Christ (John 6:40, Romans 10:9-10, John 17:3). The Apostle Paul tells us that we are to remember Christ's death until the Return, " For every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are announcing the Lord's death until he comes again ." (1 Corinthians 11:26). In this verse are two images of our LORD Jesus, the Suffering Servant and Lamb of God who was poured out for our sins

Ginosko: Knowing Jesus

There is an adage in the West, "It's not what you know, its who you know." This statement emphasizes relationships over reason, that you might be greater scholar of the day, but if you aren't sociable and don't have connections, you probably will remain anonymous and without support. This is true of God. There are plenty of people who know about God, theologians who can explain doctrine like a professor, but what matters is that you know God, as in know Him personally like a friend, " And this is the way to have eternal life-- to know you (ginosko), the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth ." (John 17:3, Jesus Christ), " Simon Peter replied, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life We believe and know (ginosko) that You are the Holy One of God ," (John 6:68-69), " Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing  (gnosis) Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I

Jesus Is Coming Soon!: The Solar Eclipse August 21st 2017 and Other Signs

The Nations are trembling. Rumors of Wars are happening. Pestilence, famine, and death is plaguing the Earth. The signs of the times are before us, the signs of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. There is no doubt that these are The end times. Most prophetic scholars and prophets believe we are in the Last Days, and even secular people are preparing for a Zombie Apocalypse and Doomsday Prepping, which is ironic because the End Times Old Testament Prophet speaks of Zombies, " And the Lord will send a plague on all the nations that fought against Jerusalem. Their people will become like walking corpses, their flesh rotting away. Their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths, On that day they will be terrified, stricken by the Lord with great panic. They will fight their neighbors hand to hand " (Zachariah 14:12). The world has reached tipping point, advancement, ambition, and capital is not satiating the masses anymore. Capitalism is neig
