The Creator's Entertainment

I am convinced that we would be quite content with The Creator's Entertainment. This world has tried to convince us that we need TVs, computer, smartphones, and other devices to be entertained. In the process companies destroy Creator's theater: nature and we lose the wholesome and soul settling amusement of animals.

If we look to God's creation alone, in particularly the birds we get a plethora of different stations. There is the epic or battle films in the form of fowl fighting in sky. I witnessed a hawk seize a citadel size pine tree while three or four crows assailed him with their sharpened sword beaks. I have seen sitcom of a little sparrow being screamed at by a bigger bird under car. This sparrow overcome with the shock of being shouted at sat on his concrete couch curb where his or her mate came and seeing their distress began to sing to the stressed sparrow in soothing fashion.

All of nature which the Lord created (Genesis 1) has something amusing to see. The beauty of birch and the birds is enough to bring bliss to my soul. I think St. Francis and St. Anthony discovered the secret. They knew that it was not the theater in Rome or the traveling bard that contained entertainment; but rather the elk, eagle, evergreen trees, and everything else God created! I have often wondered what purpose was behind making the animals first? They cannot relate to the Lord like we do, so why were they created before Man? The answer is they were for us! The Lord in his love for us, decided to give us all the amusement we need! Adam could dive into the ocean and behold full sea of creatures in all shapes, colors and sizes. He could marvel at the mightiness of the Megalodon and appreciate the smallest Starfish.

The Sky, the Sea, and the Solid ground are filled with Creator's creatures. They are here to bring joy to us and for us to love. They desire the Lord and his children. For is says, "Go into the world and preach the Gospel to all creation!" (Mark 16:15) and that "all creation is waiting for the sons of God to reveal themselves." (Romans 8:19). While I do ponder at how you could convert a cobra to Christ, I think the animals know the Almighty' presence and they can feel it in those who love Jesus. In fact, I have witnessed how those who are filled with the Holy Spirit and love Christ draw animals unto themselves! I one swam with dolphins and they kept coming to me over the other people who were in the tank! I believe this is favor, that the dolphins sensed the divine (Jesus) in me and were drawn (it was nothing I was doing, I give credit to the Lord).

Aside from the animals, the rest of creation that does not sing, swim, or slither across the land also brings us entertainment. The fog creeping over the green mountainside is more fulfilling than hours of watching a film. A waterfall and a rainbow beats watching TV. The trees in all their different kinds alone deserve our attention, how many hours we could traverse the forests and find each of their kind. The stars, sunset, and roaring sea are like a light show with accompaniment.

I am not saying to reject going to plays, films, or reading. I love to do all those things. I am merely saying we are missing the stage God has put before us and the show that is playing everyday in front of us if we but will look! Each day is a play outside and its never the same! The birds, bees, boas, and bears do have routines, but they will explore different parts of the wood and their interactions never grow dull. Even when there is no action, no great epics playing between birds or beasts, there is something to see and thank our Father in Heaven for. Do not take for granted the Creator's entertainment.

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come...

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few peop...

Concerns About The Jerusalem Cross

When you travel to Jerusalem, it is the custom of a pilgrim to by a Jerusalem Cross as souvenir. Its suppose to represent Jerusalem, and Christianity there. Even Protestant brothers and sisters have adopted the Jerusalem Cross symbol as a missionary symbol, the four extra crosses being to four corners of the world, “And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” (Matthew 24:31). The problem is that the Jerusalem Cross has a very dark history spiritually. Yes it was used like French Cross as a counter to Nazi swastika during the 1940’s which is ironic since one variant of Cross Potent which is in the Jerusalem Cross was a swastika called the grammadion which was a talisman for luck and good fortune: My greater concern is the crusader theology tied to the Jerusalem Cross. The Jerusalem Cross as we know it was created when the Kingdom of Jerusalem was formed during The Fi...
