Obediance

By nature we are rebellious and insolent. The sinful nature coming from Adam down to us makes us want to be disobedient towards the Divine. This anarchy part of our D.N.A. can only be bridled by willingly submitting to Jesus Christ and the Father. In Matthew 7:21, Jesus says, "not everyone who says, 'Lord, Lord' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of the Father who is in heaven will enter."

How the Trinity works is complex and beyond our minds to comprehend. Hence why I often say, "The fact I cannot reason God, that is understand how the Trinity works: Three but One God, is the reason I know He is God. If He is God I should not be able to explain everything about Him and have him down to an equation. This is how I know the Triune God is the True God." That being said, Jesus always obeyed The Father. The Son was so submissive to the Father, that He did nothing without ascribing to his perfect Will. It is easiest to embrace the Son, the Jesus side of God because we see him sacrificing his life for us on the Cross. It is easy to accept The Holy Spirit who makes us feel the presence of God and gives us comfort and consolation. But the Father part of God can be difficult for us to approach for two reasons: one it was originally impassable to approach him because of our Sin (Exodus 33:20) and secondly our own bad relationships with our fathers cause us to see our Heavenly Father in the wrong light.

Jesus said, "earthly fathers when your son asks for bread do you give them a stone instead or when a child asks for a fish do you give them a poisonous snake? No, of course not! And if fathers who are tainted with sin and hardened hearts care for and love their children, how much more so does your Heavenly Father love and care for you? Will not He then give you all you ask for?" (Matthew 7: 9-11).

Our Heavenly Father is not like our earthly fathers. He loves us so unconditionally, that he sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to save us from our sin and make us right with our Him (Father) again! (John 3:16). I have touched upon this in another post, but now I Segway into the obedience portion. Now that we know our Heavenly Father loves us, we must be obedient to His Will. The Will of Christ is the same as the Will of the Father. If you disobey The Father, you disobey The Son. As for the verses in Matthew 7, one interpretation is that the Father's Will is found in his Ten Commandments (in original Hebrew The Ten Commandments are called Fatherly Instructions) which create respect with God and people. I agree with this, but add that the Holy Spirit will also guide us to what the Father and Son want us to be doing and we must be quick to obey. If we disobey once or twice or several times, I do not think he will just caste us out it says in Matthew Chapter 7. Rather I think Jesus is talking about those who speak His name and the Father in repetition and do these man made works for Him, but its all ritual and religion, not a relationship with the Father and Son and doing His Will and knowing it via direct communication.

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These w

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come and died for our sins an

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few people are endeavo
