The Global Warming Movement has gained traction with a recent find by scientists that they attest is proof of the phenomenon coined by Al Gore. For a time speculation drove Global Warming to be replaced by the more moderate and less apocalyptic Climate Change. The problem is that the earth one minute was shifting to be cooler than recorded in history, and the ironic Global Cooling Movement began, only to be hit by polar warming that game Gore and his disciples their desired evidence. For those who couldn't decide, is it Global Warming or Global Cooling? Climate Change became the central ideology of the past four years, with even Leonardo DiCaprio decrying upon receiving his Golden Globe award, that the greater threat is Climate Change. President Barak Obama has been a major Climate Change Crusader, attending Geo Summits and supporting Al Gore's claims. But is Global Warming supported by Scripture and can we even stop it if it does exist?
The last book of the Bible, written by the Apostle John, which is known as the Revelation or The Apocalypse does record a global warming event. The Apostle is shown an angel that does more than heat the earth, "The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was allowed to scorch people with fire." (Revelation 16:8). The whole earth will be scorched by the rays of the sun, but this will only plague unbelievers, "They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him." (Revelation 16:9). Interestingly, global cooling happens too, "The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night." (Revelation 8:12), and "But in those days, following that distress, "'the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light" (Mark 13:24). The moon will have no light because the Sun's power and heat will be diminished significantly, the reason our moon is so bright is because of Sun, and so for this light to fade, means the Sun as aforementioned is darkened, this would also explain why it says the moon turns blood red, because if you watch a sunset the closer to setting (not full strength of sun's rays) the redder it is, same with the sun rising, and so this also indicates the sun will not be a strong. Astronomers have already predicted with scientific methods that are less accurate than prophecy, that our sun will weaken and grow less luminous in millions of years, but they use gas dating which fluxates, it could be only years or thousands of years according to carbon cobalt testing.
So in point of fact Climate Change is going to happen, both Global Warming and Cooling, only it will have nothing to do with us or the environment, but rather because of God's Judgement. In fact, it is futile to fight Climate Change, because it is being instituted as judgement by Christ. We will not be able to control the sun scorching us, nor when it darkens and loses light, these are part of God's judgment on the wicked. They are signs to motivate people to seek the Savior Jesus Christ, but it already says many will not repent. The reason the sun and moon will collapse, and stars fall from sky, and earth is destroyed is that it is already under the curse, "For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God's children in glorious freedom from death and decay." (Romans 8:20-21). All creation, even galaxies, stars, and our planet is under the curse because of Adam and Eve's disobedience (Genesis 3), for Eden was lowest level of Heaven and highest level of Earth, and so sin they blanketed the heavens (cosmos, Heaven is God's Throne, heavens or heavenlies are space and galaxies) with a curse, and this is why God is going to create a new heaven and earth, "Then I saw "a new heaven and a new earth," for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea, I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, "Look, God's home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever. And the one sitting on the throne said, "Look, I am making everything new!" And then he said to me, "Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true." And he also said, "It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega--the Beginning and the End. To all who are thirsty I will give freely from the springs of the water of life, All who are victorious (Matthew 23:13) will inherit all these blessings, and I will be their God, and they will be my children. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death. I saw no temple in the city, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple." (Revelation 21:1-9, 22) and "But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar, the elements will be dissolved in the fire, and the earth and its works will not be found.But in keeping with God's promise, we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells." (2 Peter 3:10, 13). It is clear Christ, The Alpha and Omega is going to create a New Earth and Heaven, one without the curse of Adam and eve, where all creation will be free from death and decay (Romans 8:20-21. Revelation 21:4).
Climate change will happen, but not how Al Gore or any of the celebrities of Hollywood or Politics expect. In truth their quest and campaign is probably to stop this terrible coming plague, but they cannot escape it, the only escape is through Emmanuel, Jesus Christ. He is the only way to be saved from Global Warming and Global Cooling. Man made inventions will not protect people from these coming plagues, only the Blood of Lamb (Jesus Christ and His Atoning Sacrifice for All Sin on Cross which available only to those who believe in Him and that sacrifice Romans 10:9-10) and Being Written in the Lamb's Book of Life (Revelation 21:27) will protect people from coming calamities.
