Encouragement For Egyptian Christians

Egypt has long been in Emmanuel's interest. The location of the Exodus of Jews lead by Moses a former prince of Egypt makes the land brimming with signifence. There is a prophecy that fortells the Lord who is Jesus (Romans 10:9) shall called Egypt to be His people, "The LORD will strike Egypt, striking but healing; so they will return to the LORD, and He will respond to them and will heal them. In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will go to Egypt and the Egyptians to Assyria. The Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together. In that day Israel will be the third with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth, The LORD Almighty will bless them, saying, "Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork, and Israel my inheritance." (Isaiah 19:22-25). In Egypt the largest church is the Coptic Orthodox Church, which professes Jesus as prophet but has not the understanding that the truth is Jesus is God and the only way to the Father (John 14:6). The only way man can be saved from God's wrath is if God takes His own wrath upon himself, no man can suffer (do penance) or enough good works to assuage (make up for) and make up for sins of all mankind, but God had to take on man's nature, a body so as to have the matter (flesh) with its sin and being God who is pure and cannot sin (1 Peter 2:22, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Hebrews 4:15) He died on cross and through this death and shedding of His blood He instituted a new covenant of salvation and .eternal life for all who believe in Him (John 3:16, John 6:40).

Jesus is God, "In the beginning was the Word (is Jesus Christ, see Revelation 19:11), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. (John bore witness about him, and cried out, “This was he of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me ranks before me, because he was before me.’”) For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one has ever seen God; the only God,who is at the Father's side, he has made him known," (John 1:1-5, 14-18), "No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is Himself God and is at the Father's side, has made Him known," (John 1:18), "For God so loved the world that He gave the only begotten Son, so that everyone believing in Him should not perish, but should have eternal life," (John 3:16), "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life. Whoever rejects the Son will not see life. Instead, the wrath of God remains on him," (John 3:36), "For this reason they tried all the more to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God," (John 5:18), "For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day," (John 6:40), "Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me will live, even though he dies. And everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die," (John 11:25-26), "Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.” Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works. Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else believe on account of the works themselves. Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it. “If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you. “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.” Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world?” Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. Whoever does not love me does not keep my words. And the word that you hear is not mine but the Father's who sent me. “These things I have spoken to you while I am still with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. You heard me say to you, ‘I am going away, and I will come to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. And now I have told you before it takes place, so that when it does take place you may believe. I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming. He has no claim on me, but I do as the Father has commanded me, so that the world may know that I love the Father. Rise, let us go from here," (John 14:4--31), "I am not asking on behalf of them alone, but also on behalf of those who will believe in Me through their message, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me," (John 17:20-21), "I and the Father are one," (John 10:30), "Again Jesus said to them, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent Me, so also I am sending you, And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit," (John 22:21-20), "When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father--the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father--he will testify about me," (John 15:26), "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit," (Matthew 24:19), "And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true--in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life," (1 John 4:20), "But we know that there is only one God, the Father, who created everything, and we live for him. And there is only one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom God made everything and through whom we have been given life," (1 Corinthians 8:6), "See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, which are based on human tradition and the spiritual forces of the world rather than on Christ. For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity (Godhead) dwells in bodily form," (Colossians 2:8-9), and "The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel" (which means "God with us")," (Matthew 1:23). Aside from Coptic Church, Egypt has Evangelicals and other Protestants who meet in wilderness to worship, pray, and seek revival because persecution is too severe to do these practices in public.

Egypt is not forgotten by Emmanuel. Many see the ANKH, a mystical symbol which looks like a cross and their are crosses in Hieroglyphics, why? Because Alexandria, the most learned place in world contained the Scriptures, and all people at Library and School of Alexandria knew the Son of Adam, the coming Christ would die on a cross (Isaiah 53). The Apostle Luke was educated in Alexandria, which was the Yale, Oxford, Cambridge, and Princeton of the day. In the center of the Library of Alexandra was a giant cross, and most physicians like Luke wore a cross around their neck (Dear and Glorious Physician, Taylor Cladwell), because they knew, "But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5). It is well known facts Egyptians knew how to do brain surgery, and at Alexandra they cured cancers with stones, all of this information in detail was lost when radical Turks burned the library of Alexandria down (Dear and Glorious Physician, Taylor Cladwell).

So pray Egyptians! Pray that the words of Isaiah may come true! You are part of God's people if you believe in Jesus Christ who is God and Son of God (Colossians 2;9, John 3:16) as your Lord (God) and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from dead. (Romans 10:9-10). Don't listen to Gnostic, Nestorian, Arian, and other heresies that pollute the Gospel, "For I am jealous for you with the jealousy of God himself. I promised you as a pure bride to one husband—Christ. But I fear that somehow your pure and undivided devotion to Christ will be corrupted, just as Eve was deceived by the cunning ways of the serpent. You happily put up with whatever anyone tells you, even if they preach a different Jesus than the one we preach, or a different kind of Spirit than the one you received, or a different kind of gospel than the one you believed. But I don’t consider myself inferior in any way to these “super apostles” who teach such things. These people are false apostles. They are deceitful workers who disguise themselves as apostles of Christ. But I am not surprised! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no wonder that his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. In the end they will get the punishment their wicked deeds deserve," (1 Corinthians 11:2-5, 13-15), "See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ For in Him the whole fullness of deity (Godhead) dwells bodily, and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority," (Colossians 2:8-10), "Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath. These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ. Let no one disqualify you, insisting on asceticism and worship of angels, going on in detail about visions, puffed up without reason by his sensuous mind, and not holding fast to the Head, from whom the whole body, nourished and knit together through its joints and ligaments, grows with a growth that is from God," (Colossians 2:16-19), "If with Christ you died to the elemental spirits of the world, why, as if you were still alive in the world, do you submit to regulations, “Do not handle, Do not taste, Do not touch” (referring to things that all perish as they are used) according to human precepts and teachings? These have indeed an appearance of wisdom in promoting self-made religion and asceticism and severity to the body, but they are of no value in stopping the indulgence of the flesh.," (Colossians 2:20-23), "so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes./Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won't be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth," (Ephesians 4:14), "For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear," (2 Timothy 4:3), "But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, influenced by the hypocrisy of liars, whose consciences are seared with a hot iron. They will prohibit marriage and require abstinence from certain foods that God has created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For every creation of God is good, and nothing that is received with thanksgiving should be rejected, if you point these things out to the brothers and sisters, you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus, nourished on the truths of the faith and of the good teaching that you have followed," (1 Timothy 4:1-6), "For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths," (2 Timothy 4;3-4), " For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds," (2 Corinthians 11:13-15), "But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed," (Galatians 1:8-9), "Now I urge you, brethren, keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and hindrances contrary to the teaching which you learned, and turn away from them. For such men are slaves, not of our Lord Christ but of their own appetites; and by their smooth and flattering speech they deceive the hearts of the unsuspecting.," (Romans 16:17-18), "As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ," (Ephesians 4:14-15), "Their worship is a farce, for they teach man-made ideas as commands from God," (Mark 7:7), and, "For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders that would deceive even the elect, if that were possible. See, I have warned you about this ahead of time. "So if anyone tells you, 'There he is, out in the wilderness,' do not go out; or, 'Here he is, in the inner rooms,' do not believe it. For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man," (Matthew 24:24-27). False christs contradict what the Holy Bible says about Christ. Jesus Christ is God (Colossians 2:9) and Man (2 John 1:7).

O Egypt, do not misunderstand! Believe in Jesus Christ who Is God and is One with Father and Holy Spirit! Do not let men with man made religion, and teach traditions as if they are from God, "" (Mark 7:7) rob you of fulfilling Isaiah 19:25-28! Do not misunderstand, Jesus Christ is God and He took the wrath of God on our behalf on the cross, "And this righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no distinction, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation (took the wrath we deserved upon Himself) by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins, for he was looking ahead and including them in what he would do in this present time. God did this to demonstrate his righteousness, for he himself is fair and just, and he declares sinners to be right in his sight when they believe in Jesus." (Romans 3:22-26).

O Egypt! God desires you! Why did He send you plagues? (Exodus 7:14-11:10). The Plagues were to make you believe! And behold the Savior, God incarnate and in body visited you O Egypt, "After the wise men were gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. "Get up! Flee to Egypt with the child and his mother," the angel said. "Stay there until I tell you to return, because Herod is going to search for the child to kill him." (Matthew 2:13). O Egypt you were a shelter for the Deliverer of Mankind, God's Son! You sheltered God, just as you did Moses! Egypt do you not know your importance to the Lord God who is Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit?! You are adopted child if you believe in Jesus, "God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure," (Ephesians 1:5), "There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus, If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise," (Galatians 3:28-29), and "The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children, Now if we are children, then we are heirs--heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory." (Romans 8:16-17).

O Egypt! Please believe in Jesus Christ as Savior, Lord, and God! For He bled on cross for you and all people, and he desires your salvation as well as salvation of all people (1 Timothy 2:4, 2 Peter 3:9). The Lord Jesus (Romans 10:9) wants you Egyptian to come to the Truth, who is Jesus Christ (John 14:6). Amen.

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These w

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come and died for our sins an

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few people are endeavo
