The Real Second Coming of Jesus Christ: What It Will Look Like and Will It Be Public or Private

There are a lot of false christs these days. Men with beards in Siberia, China, The United States, and more claiming to be Christ returned. There was even one who showed up to an Apple iStore to protest. Since so many imposters of Immanuel are emerging, I thought it helpful to review what Jesus Christ himself, in The Holy Scriptures says about His Second Coming. Jesus tells us, "and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people," (Matthew 24:11), and "For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect." (Matthew 24:24). Our Lord and Savior then tells us that the false christs will appear in private places, and in solitary locations and people will say, "People will tell you, 'Look, there is the Son of Man,' or 'Here he is,' but don't go out and follow them, For as the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other, so it will be on the day when the Son of Man comes," (Luke 17:23-24), and "For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders that would deceive even the elect, if that were possible. See, I have warned you about this ahead of time. So if anyone tells you, 'There he (the messiah) is, out in the wilderness,' do not go out; or, 'Here he is, in the inner rooms,' do not believe it. For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man." (Matthew 24:24-27). Jesus Christ makes it clear that He will not reappear in a hidden room, or in wilderness. But rather He shall be seen as lightning is seen from east to west.

The Revelation of St. John tells us that Jesus Christ will be seen by everyone when He returns, "Look, he is coming with the clouds," and "every eye will see him, even those who pierced him"; and all peoples on earth "will mourn because of him." So shall it be! Amen." (Revelation 1:7). Christ himself says He shall be seen, "Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory," (Matthew 24:30), and, "However, after the tribulation of those days, ‘The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken. Then everyone will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds with great power and glory." (Mark 13:26, NIV and NLT). Nothing in all the accounts, even from Christ's own mouth indicate a secret Second Coming or that He will appear to only a select group, or be in California, Czech Republic, or China. When Jesus Christ Returns, everyone is going to see it, and that is not because TV and 24/7 News stations. When the Lord Jesus appears it says,  "But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare." (2 Peter 3:10). There will be no obstructions, roofs, walls, mountains, depths of sea, or anything from seeing the Glorious coming of God who is Jesus Christ (Col 2:9, Colossians 1:8-18, John 10:30, John 17:1-14).

Do not be deceived by the false christs with oriental (Asian) names, or who live in Serbia or walk around looking like a painting of Jesus claiming they are the Christ. These imposters and pretenders are antichrists, false christs, false prophets, and accursed ones, "Dear children, the last hour is here. You have heard that the Antichrist is coming, and already many such antichrists have appeared. From this we know that the last hour has come." (1 John 2:18), "Who is the liar, if it is not the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, who denies the Father and the Son," (1 John 2:22), "For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and wonders that would deceive even the elect, if that were possible," (Mark 13:22), "Beware of false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves," (Matthew 7:15), "But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God's curse! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God's curse!" (Galatians 1:8-9), and "I am afraid, however, that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may be led astray from your simple and pure devotion to Christ. For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with way too easily." (2 Corinthians 11:3-4).

Remember that when Jesus Christ returns, all will see Him, "Look, he is coming with the clouds," and "every eye will see him, even those who pierced him"; and all peoples on earth "will mourn because of him." So shall it be! Amen." (Revelation 1:7).

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. The...

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come...

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few peop...
