Judgement

I grow weary of the tolerance that is taught in churches these days. People believe they should not impose their faith on their friends, or make mention of their beliefs in Jesus Christ. As many Christians refuse to share their faith out of fear of offending or losing a friend, that same friend is bold in sharing paganisms like Yoga and other eastern beliefs on a daily basis. It has become unpopular to tell people that they will be judged if they do not believe in Jesus Christ as their God. This rhetoric has been all but removed from the lips of rectors and religious leaders. The words of Jesus Christ are not uttered, which spell out exclusiveness, "I AM the Way, The Truth, and the Life, none may come to Father except through me." (John 14:6). The age of postmodernism has been a plague on those "pure in heart." (). A double standard has been raised, allowing the humanists, pagans, Hindus, and heterodox to have their voice while stripping that same voice from the Saints.

Judgement is coming. Though unpopular, the Truth of The Last Judgement is written in the pages of the Bible. We believers know that when Christ comes back, He will not simply reward those who follow Him to the end (Matt 24:13) but render asunder and pour out His wrath on the wicked and unbelieving, "Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems, and he has a name written that no one knows but himself. He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God. And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses. From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords." (Revelation 19:11-16). The winepress of God's wrath is being prepared, and soon those who refuse to believe and who peddle their 'religions' of the fallen angels (Islam, Hinduism, New Age, Occult, and more) will be trod in winpress and deown in their own blood! For they have rejected The True God who came because of love and died for their sins. This rejection of redemption requires a recompense, "Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son," (John 3:18), and "They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness." (2 Thessalonians 2:11-12). Those who do not believe in Jesus Christ who is God (Col 2:8-9) will be condemned, and their condemnation is sword of Christ and the flames of hell, "Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed (John 3:18, 2 Thess 2:11-12), into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels," (Matthew 25:41), and "But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death." (Revelation 21:8).

It may not be politically correct to say judgement is coming to all unbeleivers, but it is the truth! I wonder what The Word of God will do at His coming, when He finds so many church goers and 'christians' who tolerate every idolatry, heterodoxy, apostasy, and pagan belief in the name of tolerance and being 'integrated.' Do you think the pleas of "I just wanted to be nice to my pagan friends," or "I did not want to seem harsh by telling them the truth," will suffice on the Day of Reckoning? The Apostle Paul warns us not be yoked with unbeleivers, "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people Therefore, "Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.
" (2 Corinthians 6:14-17). And yet many still yoke (make covenant, and become close to) unbeleivers and thus become ensnared in their wickedness. For it is written, "A little yeast leavens the whole lump," () and so the unbelievers will corrupt a good Christian with their lie (2 Thessalonains 2:11-12) and then those who were once free and holy will be condemned again (Hebrews 6:3-8, 2 Peter 2:20-22). So beware, your tolerance of unbelievers who do not receive the Gospel can be the undoing of your own security (salvation)! For they become servants of Satan in your life to cause you to stumble if possible (Matthew 24:24). Judgement will come to you if "having set your hand to the plow you draw back, such a person is not fit for kingdom of heaven." (Luke 9:62).

The Lord Jesus Christ offers Salvation and exemption (escape) from The Last Judgement (Winpress of Wrath) for everyone, everyday! All that you must do is "Confess Jesus is Jehovah (LORD, God of Israel), and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead." (Romans 10:9). What is so hard about this? God died for all your sins and to save you from eternal damnation and wrath; and yet people still struggle to believe? The reason is they want their false religions. Satanic cults, cult of the ego, Humanism, Narcissim, and more. It does cost you something to follow Jesus Christ, it costs you your very life, "Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it." (Matthew 10:39). This is a loaded message from the Messiah, it means 1) literally, you could die as martyr, 2) spiritually, you must die to all other roads, gods, and false religions, serve only Christ who is One with Father and Holy Spirit (John 10:30) you must lose your will and seek God's will now, and 4) put away all that seeks to take you off the narrow path of Christ (), which can mean family, friends, fame, fictions, favorite shows, video games, books, and more.

The Apostles do not talk about having secular friends. Unbelievers were preached to, and if they accepting the Gospel (Good News of Jesus Christ according to Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) then they became brothers and sisters in Christ, and thus could have the confidence and close connection (friendship). It is a twenty first century notion that we Christians should have close secular unbelieving friends. The truth as the Apostle Paul put it is the opposite, "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols?" (1 Corinthians 6:14-16). Preaching, sharing the Gospel to an unbeliever and teaching them the Truth (John 14:6) was one thing, but being their friend was not endorsed by the Apostles. We have to shake this thinking that evangelism requires befriending unbelievers. The reality is that if that person will not accept the Gospel, strings you along, wants to be your friend and keep receiving favors, food, and help from you; then you are enabling them in their unbelief and courting someone who is condemned already (John 3:18, 2 Thessalonians 2:10-13). There is this infection in the Body of Christ, where people believe that "well my friend does not believe yet, but someone else will water the seed I have planted." Certainly you did plant seed, but we need to stop acting like this is a fail safe for not preaching the Gospel continually to these people. If you share Gospel once with a friend and think, that is enough, you will then be enabling them; you need to make them uncomfortable with unbelief; keep preaching until they either leave or finally take Jesus as Lord. If you do not do this, you risk them infecting you with unbelief, which Jesus even admitted is deadly, "And He did not do many miracles there because of their unbelief (lack of faith)." (Matthew 13:58).

We need to make good judgements about the company we keep, for the Judgement of our Lord Jesus Christ is coming swiftly. Let not His Church be caught in complacency, and conformity to the polytheism, paganism, and pollutions of the world to keep friendships and finances. It is time for idolatry and toleration of it to stop. You do not pagan and unbelieving friend any good if you cease to preach and tolerate their pernicious philosophies and paganisms. The Lord Jesus Christ is going to separate believers (sheep) from unbelievers (goats), "When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne.  Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.  For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.’ Then they also will answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?’ Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.’ And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life." (Matthew 25:31-46). You do not want to be seen with the goats, tolerating their unbelief when The Lord Jesus comes. You can pray for unbelieving friends and witness (share the Gospel) with them; but do not become close to them. There are a few reasons to keep your distance from the goats, one is if you should be mistaken as one of them, another is that your heart will break when they are caste into eternal fire because they refused to believe in Jesus Christ, and thirdly, unbelievers will try to convince you Christ is not kind and loving if He sends them to hell which is an ironic twist since they won't receive Jesus' free gift of salvation (John 3:16) to avoid the fires of hell, and yet they are content to judge Him for sending them to hell because they would not receive His free gift of Salvation; that is like being offered endless amount of money for free but refusing it and calling the giver of the free money cruel because now you won't be bailed out of debt; or to put it another way, unbelievers reject the Free Gift of Salvation from flames of hell, and then complain that they will be judged and go to hell for not believing; that is like taking no oxygen into space and then being mad you have no oxygen and blaming the One who offered you oxygen! Having close unbelieving friends destroyed Rob Bell (Nooma, Velvet Elvis, Sex God, and etc) and other ministers who started so well but got ensnared by unbelieving friends in judging the Judge of All (God). Unbelievers are sharp rocks that will shipwreck you if you are not careful. Pray for them, preach to them, but do not fall into the trap of toleration and even support of their behaviors and beliefs; lest you become judged with them (Hebrews 6:4-6, 2 Peter 2:20-22).

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. The...

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come...

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few peop...
