There is a television series that has these allegeded 'heroes' trying to stop the Apocalypse from happening, and one of lines is "remember, you are fighting against God." Coming out soon is the latest installment in the X-Men movie franchise which is called X-Men: Apocalypse, which features an omnipotent mutant named Apocalypse, and his Four Horseman of the Apocalypse. The Book of Revelation says there will be four horseman of the Apocalypse, "" () and the author and leader of the Apocalypse is not the villan in the latest X-Men film, but Jesus Christ Himself (Revelation 1:1-2, Revelation 19, Revelation 22:21-22). Film and television is increasingly becoming antichrist and anti apocalypse, predisposing people to be against the Lord and His return, "Look, he is coming with the clouds," and "every eye will see him, even those who pierced him"; and all peoples on earth "will mourn because of him." So shall it be! Amen." (Revelation 1:7).
There is a deliberate move in media to make people ready for Antichrist. Shows like "Lucifer" make the devil out to be sympathetic figure, while movies like Thor: Ragnok return the old pagan Norse gods to the big screen and prepare people for return of the sons of god (fallen) ones (Genesis 6:1-5) who it says come forth from pit (Revelation 9:2). Most programs from "Once Upon A Time" to the lastest Syfy franchise features demnesions and portals to other realms, something wiccans, witches, and Satanists who have converted to Christianity and turned away from the dark powers confess actually exist, and even are called "Middle Earth." The amount of stories that are being peddled these days is daunting! They all either glorify the evil one like "The Conjuring 2," make him sympathetic like in "Lucifer" or they make people antichrist in heart by becoming resistors of Christ's Apocalypse as is the case of "X-Men: Apocalypse" and the new series on Syfy.
Interestingly, the word Apocalypse is a misnomer. It really means, "unveiling" in Greek, and refers to the unveiling of Bride, in this case the Bride of Christ. When Jesus Christ returns, we, His bride shall be unveiled, a process Paul says is like this, "Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely," (1 Corinthians 13:12), and "Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is." (1 John 3:2). This unveiling will be when we meet Jesus Christ in completeness, in the flesh, spirit, and mind in time at His Coming. We then will be changed, "will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And we who are living will also be transformed. For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies. Then, when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die, this Scripture will be fulfilled: "Death is swallowed up in victory." (1 Corinthians 15:52-54).
I believe there is campaign going on to make people enemies of Emmanuel and The Apocalypse. For us Christians the Apocalypse is a Wedding Feast, a day of sheer joy and fullness and salvation. But the world is depicting it merely as fire, brimstone, judgement, and unappalled destruction; which is shall be (Revelation CH 8, CH 9, CH 10, CH 11, CH 19), but not for us. We may yet endure the Tribulation, but should we die we shall be with Christ (2 Corinthians 5:6-8, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14) or we shall be changed (1 Corinthians 15:52-54). The authors of "The Left Behind Series" and worldly writers have made movies that have scared many believers when Scripture tells us to be elated, and to keep watch for coming of Christ (apocalypse), "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come," (Matthew 24:42), "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour," (Matthew 25:13), "Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back--whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn," (Mark 13:35), and, "So keep watch at all times, and pray that you may have the strength to escape all that is about to happen and to stand before the Son of Man." (Luke 21:36). We are told by God our Savior to keep watch and be expecting the Apocalypse, but Hollywood filmmakers, television shows, and books would have you fear it, and want to prevent it!
What is happening is the Antichrist is already mobilizing his forces through media. The Man of Sin is not yet revealed (2 Thessalonians 2, Revelation 13), but many antichrists are rising in form of shows, and people, "Dear children, the last hour is here. You have heard that the Antichrist is coming, and already many such antichrists have appeared (even now many antichrists have come). From this we know that the last hour has come." (1 John 2:18). Beware, for the goal is to lead many astray (Matthew 24:24, Luke 21:8, Matthew 24:10). We must be ready as Christians to reject the world, to even cease filling our minds with movies, shows, and programs that contradict our beliefs and the words in Scripture! Now is the time to choose, Christ or Channels. Before us the great deception is revealing itself and yet many believe it cannot harm them, well then explain this, "At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other." (Matthew 24:10). Matthew Chapter twenty four is about the End of Days! Only the earliest part is about Titus (70 A.D.). We need to recognize there is an assault on the apocalypse. The world is trying to turn people against the Great Wedding Day (Revelation 19:6-10)! Do not give in, instead resist and stand the rest, for Christ in coming soon! Do not seek gain world at cost of your soul, "And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?" (Matthew 16:26).
