Orthodox Faith Under Fire

Orthodox Christianity is the belief in the Holy Bible, the belief in the Trinity: God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and the doctrines all Christians (except Copts and heretical groups like Jehovah Witnesses, Unitarians, Mormons) believe including the Councils of Nicaea, Constantinople, Chalcedon, and more. Orthodox Christianity is what is found in Bible. If you are Evangelical, Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Protestant, Lutheran, Baptist, Pentecostal, Presbyterian, Charismatic, Methodist, Assemblies of God, and more; you are Orthodox. Orthodox means "right belief" and was founded on what the Bible says and was articulated in Councils of Early Church like the Council of Nicaea. Orthodoxy holds true to Bible and what it teaches, oppose to Liberal Christianity which adapts its beliefs and  practices to the times.

It is no secret that Orthodox Christianity (now labeled Fundamentalism) is under attack in United States and the World abroad. The Universalist goal of uniting all religions into one, and creating a Post Modern world is in full force. Nations like Georgia (south of Russia), known for their Orthodox Faith and Conservative family values are being pressured to conform to pattern of this world (Romans 12:2). Thus far Georgia has stood firm, but the polluting effect of Post Modernism and Universalism is taking its toll. Tinatin Khorbaladze, Director of the World Congress of Familes states how Gay Agenda is playing a role in fundamental transformation of Georgia, "Khorbaladze says the aim of gay activists is simple, yet alarming. (They want) to change the thinking of the children to be open and to accept the things that my generation and the older generation consider unacceptable, she told CBN News." Pat Robertson of CBN 700 Club said the other night, "The head of foreign affairs and foreign policy to President Obama is Ben Rhodes, a fiction writer. He has no experience, has held no office in foreign affairs or even visited other countries. This new foreign policy leader said boldly, that he was able to beguile people because most of them ae twenty seven year old who know nothing and thus are gullible and easy to deceive." Combining the Universal agenda to merge religions into one, the pressure for moral relativity (anything goes, you decide your own morality), the fact that leaders are deceptive and not qualitied to lead, and finally the fact that over "89% of Millennials in the United States have no religious affiliation or beliefs," we can see a storm is coming.

This all began in 18th century with the Age of Reason. A period when men decided to embrace Post-Modernism in its infant form, they became atheists or polytheists, mostly philosophers peddling the doctrines of humanism, consumerism, moral relativism, and atheism (self reliance to the hilt). While certainly the Renaissance of the sixteenth century was a starting point of this movement, The Reformation kept these dangerous notions in check. But by the Age of Reason, the moral compass was discarded and people became "lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God." (2 Timothy 4:3). We then saw America effected by these eighteenth century atheists, agonistics, and humanists in the 1960's when prayer was taken out of schools. Now Christians may not lead prayer in schools in the US, but Muslims and Hindus and other religions may have "cultural diversity" classes that have students pretend to do the Haaj (Muslim pilgrimage) and get on a rug to pray. The pseudo-law of "separation of church and state" extends only to Church, all other religions are allowed there First Amendment rights of "freedom of religion, and to practice it thereof in any public place." The war in the courts and classrooms has specifically been against Orthodox Christian thought. Heretical sects like the Nestorians, Cathars, and Manchiees are now being immortalized as heroes, but anyone who claims Orthodox Christian beliefs, "I am the Way, the Truth, and Life, none come to Father except through me," (John 14:6) are silenced and considers disturbers of the peace and even subjected to being called criminals and violators of people's rights.

Moral relativism and the goal to destroy Christian Orthodoxy is using as its hammer and sickle the homosexual and transgender agendas. Proponents of these movements endeavor to impose these values on societies at the expense of allowing those with traditional values to maintain their right to practice their beliefs. The double standard is stark, currently Target CORP. has imposed the transgender bathroom decision on all its stores, and yet cake makers cannot deny homosexual couples their product over their religious convictions. Target, competitor of Walmart is allowed to impose beliefs, but a private business that makes cakes cannot do the same? Walmart even permits Muslim employees at checkouts to not check people out who have alchole or meat (violations of their beliefs) but a Christian cannot wear visible cross or refuse a customer based on religious conviction, even though Muslim can.

Vasadze, the Minister of Family Values in Georgia puts this all into perspective, "We'll take all the productive, progressive things from you (America, the West in general), but we'll throw out all the garbage, all the nonsense and unfortunately, in this particular case, your current pseudo-moral standards need to stay outside of Georgia if we want to maintain the family institute as it always has been in Georgia." Vasadze goes on to explain what these pseudo-moral standards are and what they do to society, "If you think indecent, radically sexual behavior is what you want to do -- that's your choice. But if I think that this is an embarrassing sin, I want to remain a society which is allowed to say that." Vasadze words pay homage to that fact that when the activists of the demoralization and moral relativism are given a voice (power) those who traditional and orthodox values become silenced. Vasadze explains in his examination that the goal is not only to silence those with traditional values, but to erase shame and sin, "You can no longer freely express your opinion about what's shameful and what is disgraceful and you are crucified for that," Vasade told CBN News.
"I would even take this further and say that the whole concept of sin is being abolished (in America). Where is it? The metamorphosis in the English language is staggering!" he exclaimed.
"I studied it since I was a child and I remember that shame meant shame. In modern English when someone says 'it's a shame' he or she means 'it's a pity'! So we see a gutting of the concept of shame," he said.Vasadze goes on to describe that the goal besides erasing shame and sin is to destroy the family, "Vasadze says the decision amounted to the legalization of homosexuality in Georgia, a decision he says is part of "an international agenda" to "destroy the family. He says, "The frontline of that war is no longer found on the geographic map of this planet," he warned. "The frontline of this war is in every living room and in every bedroom where your wife and my wife and our children sleep." Well said, this is a war on family because Satan hates mankind, he led man to sin (Genesis 3:1-5), and he hates us because we are made in image of God (Genesis 1:26) which reminds him of who he rebelled against (). The devil comes to "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy," which as Vasadze said is right now is the family, but Jesus came,  "I came that they may have life and have it abundantly." (John 10:10). Life abundantly requires loving God and others (Matthew 22:35-40), holding to standards and fruit of God's Word (Bible), and is society that produces family, which requires a male and female marrying and having children; this is abundant life.

Addendum

Great statements:

"We'll take all the productive, progressive things from you (America, the West in general), but we'll throw out all the garbage, all the nonsense and unfortunately, in this particular case, your current pseudo-moral standards need to stay outside of Georgia if we want to maintain the family institute as it always has been in Georgia."

"If you think indecent, radically sexual behavior is what you want to do -- that's your choice. But if I think that this is an embarrassing sin, I want to remain a society which is allowed to say that."

"Vasadze says the decision amounted to the legalization of homosexuality in Georgia, a decision he says is part of "an international agenda" to "destroy the family."

"The frontline of that war is no longer found on the geographic map of this planet," he warned. "The frontline of this war is in every living room and in every bedroom where your wife and my wife and our children sleep."

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. The...

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come...

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few peop...
