Proof Jesus Did Not Have A Wife: UPDATED See Addendum

Dan Brown wrote a provocative and perfidious book called "The Da Vinci Code." In Brown's book Jesus had wife and children. Mary Magdalene is cited as his bride. At the time many Christians wrote counter arguments and published them. What was most concerning was that the author, Dan Brown did not state this was fiction that he had devised to ruffle feathers of the faith community, but he actually claims in his forward "I believe this, it is the truth." Due to the deceptions born from this Da Vinci Code, I have decided to make the case from the Scriptures that Jesus Christ did not have a wife and children!

Many apologists have come against the deceit of the Da Vinci Code by stating that Jesus did not have a home (Luke 9:58) and that He would not have married someone prior to going to the cross. But other theologians have not ruled out the idea of the Messiah getting married and say that such a notion does not hurt the faith. However, I beg to differ and have proof for why Jesus would never get married, have conjugal relations, and bare children.

Let us begin with the pagan gods in the time of Jesus. The Romans who ruled Judea and most of the known world had gods based on the Greek Pantheon. Among their deities was Zeus who is called Jupiter in the Roman dialect. Zeus had sexual relations with both goddesses and human women, bearing children. One of them is the famous Hercules who is half god and half man from indiscretion of Zeus who seduced a woman in his animal form. This was the culture that Christ came to; the idea of gods having children with humans was commonplace and if there is anything we can be certain of about Jesus and His Father Jehovah, they were nothing like the pagan gods and wanted no semblance or comparison with them.

Now that I have established the belief system of the people Jesus was coming to, let us look back in Genesis 6, at the time of Noah and the Flood. It says, "The sons of god (angels, like Satan's race, not messangers) we sent to teach the sons of Men God's ways, but they left their proper abode and began having sexual relations with human women, creating the Nephilim (Genesis 6:4), the giants (Goliath was one of them). Because of this wickedness God decided to destroy mankind with a Flood, but there was one holy man named Noah and his family left and the Lord told him to build an Ark." (Genesis 6:1-4).  If the God of the Old Testament who is Jesus and if you remember that Jesus said, "I have not come to do away with the law or the words of the prophets, but I have come to fulfill both," (Matthew 5:17) and that Christ was prophesized to come by Isaiah an old testament prophet and even mentioned by Father in Eden in Genesis 3 as "A son shall rise from your line they will crush the head (power) of the serpent (Satan). Now that I have established the link between Old Test and New Test, lest anyone say we should throw out the Old, I ask the question: If God hated the angels who disobeyed and had sex with women so much that he decided to put those angels in the special hell called the Pit and decided to destroy man with Flood over it, why would He decided to marry and have children? Our Lord and God is one of integrity, why would he destroy man over such a sin and then do it Himself?! He wouldn't, for our Lord and Savior is not hypocrite (Matthew 23 shows Christ's hatred for hypocrites). In fact we have New Testament evidence of God's indignation towards this sin of angels having sex with humans: "For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, He threw them into the Pit (hell) where they are held in chains until judgment day." (2 Peter 2:4) and the New Testament Prophet Jude says, "And the angels do not stay in their domain, but abandoned their proper abode, He (The Lord) kept these angels in eternal bonds under darkness for the judgment of the great day, just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, since they (the angels) in the same way as these (the people of Sodom and Gomorrah) indulged in gross immorality and went after strange flesh, are exhibited as an example in undergoing the punishment of eternal fire." (Jude 1:6-7).

The Book of Enoch, which is a scroll found in the Dead Sea Scrolls tells the account of the fallen angels who had sex with women and bore these giants. The book of Enoch does not contradict, but actually parallels our Old and New Testaments! Enoch was the prophet that our Bible says, "walked with God and was no more." (Genesis 5:24). Enoch is also listed in the lineage of Cain in Genesis 4:18. The fallen angels who had sex with women I believe were the inspiration for the Greek, Roman, Norse, and all the other gods in history that are not the True Triune God! If you read about Zeus or Oiden alone, you find they both have children Hercules and Thor from human women. I believe this is direct link to the Genesis 6 where the Angels who had sex with humans. In fact, I argue that Zeus and Oiden are same Fallen angel, and that Hercules and Thor are the same offspring like Goliath who had the strength and statureof angels, but the body of a man.

I disagree with the apologists who say Jesus could not have married because he was hermit and because of his impending crucifixion. I disagree because those are secondary and tertiary arguments to the first and most important argument I just made! God did not have a wife and children because it would violate His own character, judgments, and law! For Jesus is "The same yesterday, today, and forever" (Hebrews 13:8). If we believe that, then Jesus who is One with the Father and Creator (proof of Jesus and Father are One: John 10:30, John 17:21) who destroyed the demons and man with Flood would not suddenly change his character during his incarnation on Earth! Jesus Christ came to build a family yes, but is was with everyone through His sacrifice on the Cross! We are all His Bride! (Proof we are Bride: Revelation 19:7-9, Revelation 21:9-11, Matthew 25:1-46, Ephesians 5:27). And it is not sexual relationship with God, but a spiritual experience! For Jesus said to the Pharisees asking about a women who had been married seven times, "fools! Don't you know there is no marriage in heaven and for you become like the angels?" (Matthew 23:30).

For those who need proof that Satan and other angels fell from heaven look to these verses: "I saw Satan fall like a star from the heavens," (Luke 10:18) and "The dragon (Satan) took his tail and sweeping a third of the stars (angels) from heaven; Satan was hurled to earth and his angels with him."  Revelation 12:9). The entire account of this fall is Revelation 12:3-9.

What is creepy for us Christians is that there is a prophecy that "in the last days the pit will be opened up," (Revelation 13). That Pit is were those evil angels who have sex with people are bound! Jesus Christ confirms this because he says, "When I return it shall be like in the days of Noah," (Matthew 24:37, Luke 17:26) which was time when those fallen angels were having sex with people. So this is all coming back! We must be vigilant to resist the seduction of Succubus, Incubus, Lamia, Ashtoreth, and other sexual fallen angels and demons that seek to ensnare mankind again! Do not be afraid, but be on the alert and pray to Jesus Christ to help you stand against all sexual temptations. For soon we shall see such sexual abominations as have not been seen since the days of Noah.

Addendum: Please Read, Important!

I believe all these movies about the Greek gods and Norse goods like the Thor movie with handsome Chris Hemsworth is a ploy from the devil to make people desire The Fallen Angels again! I believe even the Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings with the angelic elven race having children with man (Aragorn) and the dwarf in the Battle of Five armies is another example of this. The reason we are seeing this worshipful making of movies about the Greek, Roman, Norse, and other gods who are really the Fallen Angels I have mentioned in this post, is to deceive people and desensitize them for when the Pit as I mentioned is opened up and these real Fallen Angels will appear like Thor, Loki, Zeaus, Hercalus and etc to deceive and demoralize people with degradation sexual acts.
