70 Weeks of Daniel

Darby the false teacher had causes much confusion by taking the 70th week of Daniel and placing it un the future during the Anrichrist’s reign (Revelation 13:7, 2 Thessalonians 2:3-9). For thousands of years no Christian father, apostle, scholar, or expert of Scripture ever took the 70th week and placed it in the future!  The Seventieth Week: “Seventy weeks are decreed about your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to put an end to sin, and to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal both vision and prophet, and to anoint a most holy place.25Know therefore and understand that from the going out of the word to restore and build Jerusalem to the coming of an anointed one, a prince, there shall be seven weeks. Then for sixty-two weeks it shall be built again with squares and moat, but in a troubled time.26And after the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one shall be cut off and shall have nothing. And the people of the prince who is to co...

What to Do If Aliens Exist

Alien life is the topic of a congressional meeting about to take place in the US. Last year pyramid shaped ships appeared near a US aircraft carrier, which is intriguing in that the Egyptians who are known for their pyramids record in the Book of the Dead (be wary of this book, it is full of mythology, history, and spell craft, it is not safe for most Christians) that Sun Ships in the shape of pyramids came down from the heavens. A former Israeli govt official says they had contact from alien life saying, “mankind is almost ready for contact, but not yet.” Allegedly three of UFOs Pres. Joe Biden had shot down are being claimed as no nation of Earth. So the point is extraterrestrials are becoming a focal point for serious discussion.   If extraterrestrials exist, what does that mean for the Church? How will we meet another race of beings? Well The Bible has encounters between man and another race we call angelos (angels, messengers), some of who have four heads and six wings,...

The Minimum Number For A Church

How many does it take to be a church? Is it twelve like the apostles? The answer is two and three, “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”(Mathew 18:20). Notice it says gather, as in gather together like in the verse, “not neglecting to gather together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:25, CSB). Thus Jesus is saying as lomg as there are two or three gathering together He is there and it is a meeting of the Church!  The significance of two is perhaps modeled further by Jesus sending the disciples out two by two, “And he called the twelve and began to send them out two by two, and gave them authority over the unclean spirits.” (Mark 6:7). The truth is you cannot have a gathering of one, there has to at least be two, so that a conversation can even transpire and to study.  Jesus even says when two agree on anything it is done, “Again I say to you, if two of...

Bird Box: Barcelona Review

It is evident antichrist writers and directors are at work. The original Bird Box starring Sandra Bullock was a cleaver apocalyptic film that did not mock any religion or eschatological viewpoint. In fact, it respected all religious views    and mythologies. The sequel is the antithesis, it features cultists who believe that making people see The Creatures is an act of instituting the Christian Rapture. The protagonist, Sebastian, even sees souls fly into heavens when he makes them see the suicide inducing creatures. Sebastian is very Catholic, giving his daughter and another girl a Seraphim angel medallion which features six wings. Sebastin who sees his daughter is controlled in his Catholic faith to believe killing people via making them see the Entities will make him finally be with his daughter again. The main antagonist is a Catholic Priest who draws the Eye of Horus and Anubis (All Seeing Eye) on foreheads and calls it the Lord’s work to make people see the angels...

Why The Earliest Manuscripts Do Not Include Certain Passages

In The Holy Bible there are passages that read [The Earliest Manuscripts Do Not Include] to tell the reader that the earliest editions of the Gospels and etc do not contain them. Some examples are John 7:53 to 8:11 and Mark 16:8-20: “[The earliest manuscripts do not include 7:53—8:11.] [They went each to his own house, but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. Early in the morning he came again to the temple. All the people came to him, and he sat down and taught them.    The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery, and placing her in the midst they said to him, “Teacher, this woman has been caught in the act of adultery.    Now in the Law, Moses commanded us to stone such women. So what do you say?” This they said to test him, that they might have some charge to bring against him. Jesus bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground. And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, “Let him who is without sin a...

The Chosen Season 3 Review

Big budget Bible shows have been around. Roma Downey and Mark Burnett did The Bible Series which covered Genesis to The Gospels, then a sequel series called A.D. The Bible Continues covered The Book of Acts. The Chosen retreads The Gospels but in more depth with Seven Seasons planned, three completed, one being filmed now (Season 4). I like most brothers and sisters in Christ binged the first two seasons on streaming services, and awaited the anticipated third season that was exclusively on Dove (is now on Amazon Prime Video free to stream for Prime members) and in select theater showings. With every adaptation of Jesus and The Bible I am cautiously optimistic while being an apologist and fide defensor (defender of the faith) examining the adaptation for flaws and errors. I shall do this with The Chosen.  In the first seasons we are introduced to Jesus as a Carpenter who reveals himself first to children, perhaps a allusion to Christ’s teaching, “And he said: “Truly I tell ...

The Fountain of Life

One of the great legends is the Fountain of Eternal Youth. It like the Grail Legends has inspired many to go on quests in search of it. It is interesting it is fountain because in Scripture we are told there is a special fountain. The Prophet Zachariah foretold a fountain that would cleanse people of their sins,   “In the future there will be a fountain, where David's descendants and the people of Jerusalem can wash away their sin and guilt.” (Zachariah 13:1) That fountain is Jesus and the waters are His Blood. For Christ himself said that the water He shall give will be a fount that springs up to eternal life,  “but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” (John 4:14).  Those waters of that Fountain are are His Blood,  “For this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins,” (...

Dragon Ball Examined

My introduction to the Dragon Ball Universe was with Dragon Ball Z (DBZ) on Toonami, a anime time slot on Cartoon Network. My first foray into the Saiyan conflicts was Android Saga and Cell Saga, which arguably are the best sagas. I then via a friend watched most of Dragon Ball with Goku as a child, then movies like Cooler, Kakarot, and other motion pictures as I watched the Buu Saga on Toonami and covered The Frieza Saga at my friend’s to fill in gaps. Then I watched Dragon Ball GT, and at that time loved the Americano opening rap theme, and the Super Saiyan 4 forms. I watched some Dragon Ball Kai and then I watched most of Dragon Ball Super with Beerus and the Super Saiyan God form.  Dragon Ball majors in the absurd. The power levels are always surpassed by some new form reveal and the best villian is a debate among fans, whither Frieza, Cooler, Cell, Kid Buu, Majin Vegeta, Dabura, Beerus, Zamusa, Goku Black, and etc. The fact Saiyans like Goku, and Vegeta are monkey human...
