Trusting Man or Trusting The Son of Man?

Across the globe many people are putting their trust in men to save them and solve their problems. Wither it is in form of Capitalism or Communism, Republic-Democracy or Tyrannical-Dictatorships, hope is being misplaced in men. Citizens believe that if the programs, policies, and positions they want are granted that their lives will be better, and life will be a utopia. The hard truth is that trusting in any man is sheer folly, wither it is government or at your own office and business, man is a slippery as eels. Humans are corruptible and fallible. At any moment they can betray you, use you, abuse you, and disown you. Throughout the ages the old vices of murder, avarice, greed, lust, and power have made men act like the fallen angels, playing a "game of thrones." As Christians we are not to be enrolled in this game, but instead to be citizens of heaven (Philippians 3:20-21) and to be ambassadors for Kingdom of Heaven (2 Corinthians 5:11-21).

The Lord God (Jesus) spoke unto the Prophet Jeremiah with these words, "The LORD says, "I will put a curse on people who trust in mere human beings, who depend on mere flesh and blood for their strength, and whose hearts have turned away from the LORD." (Jeremiah 17:5). What a warning from Most High God! The mere trusting of other men merits a curse, and why is this? Because Trust translated is the word Faith, to place faith in. You see God is saying you cannot place your faith in men, but in God, "so that your faith [ πίστις, εως, ἡ, trans lit: pistis, Engla: faith, belief, trust]
might not rest on human wisdom, but on God's power." (1 Corinthians 2:5). King David said, "Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God." (Psalm 20:7). Today we would say fighter jets and tanks or perhaps computers and high stocks. The name of Lord God is Jesus for it is written, "Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place, and gave Him the name above all names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2:9-11). The Lord is Jesus, and Jesus is Lord, David was speaking out Christ prior to His Incarnation and First Coming; because the Psalmist knew Him in the Spirit.

Jesus Christ our God and Savior, The Lord Himself did not place trust in men, "But Jesus didn't trust them, because he knew human nature, and needed no one to bear witness about man, for he himself knew what was in man." (John 2:24-25). Christ, God in the flesh did not put trust in people. For he knew deviousness of men's hearts. Our Lord's knowledge of human heart and its wickedness was proven true when Judas betrayed Him (Luke 22:1-45), when Simeon (Peter) denied Him three times (Luke 22:54-62), when Peter tried to stop Jesus from dying for our sins on cross twice (Matthew 16:20-23, John 18:10-11), and Jesus rebuked Him by saying, "Jesus turned to Peter and said, "Get away from me, Satan! You are a dangerous trap to me. You are seeing things merely from a human point of view, not from God's." (Matthew 16:23). Indeed the very crowds at Christ's Trial and Crucifixion are great example of the fickness of men's hearts, one minute they crying, "Hosanna!, King of Jews!" and next "Crucify Him! Kill Him!". While certainly the Lord God uses authorities to accomplish His will, as in case of Pontius Pilate participating in the salvation of mankind by crucifying Jesus so that our sins might be forgiven. However, it is a mistake to believe that God wants to make all events transpire through politics and governmental authorities. Jesus never once embroiled himself in politics of man, when asked about paying taxes to Rome He said, "They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's," (Matthew 22:21), when He cleansed the Temple it wasn't for a political point but spiritual one, "He said to them, "The Scriptures declare, 'My Temple will be called a house of prayer for all nations,' but you have turned it into a den of thieves," (Mark 11:17), and when people wanted to Jesus into political messiah to crush Rome, Christ fled, "Jesus, knowing that they intended to come and make him king by force, withdrew again to a mountain by himself." (John 6:15). Then there are words of our Lord himself, "The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you," (John15:19), "And all nations will hate you because you are my followers. But everyone who endures to the end will be saved," (Matthew 10:22), "Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me," (Matthew 24:9), "Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be," (Matthew 6:19-21), "Then he said to them all: "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me," (Luke 9:23), "If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it," (Matthew 16:25), "If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for me, you will find it," (Matthew 10:39), "No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money," (Matthew 6:24, Luke 16:13), "but the worries of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things enter in and choke the word (Jesus, John 1:1-15. Revelation 19;11-16), and it becomes unfruitful," (Mark 4:19), "But Jesus told them, "I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns as well, because that is why I was sent," (Luke 4:43), and when people wanted Jesus to do more miracles and were looking for them He said, "And He said to them, "Let's go on to the neighboring villages so that I may preach there too. This is why I have come," (Mark 1:38) and finally Jesus declared to Pontius Pilate, "Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place." (John 18:36, this kingdom will only descend in physical in Revelation 21:4-7, and Revelation 21:1-6). God is about His Kingdom not the politics of earthly men, and yet Christian brothers and sisters have gotten deceived into this Network Christianity where they expect to take the seats of power in world, not emphasis evangelism, but emerge power brokers like the fallen angels. They think their bills, political prowess, social standing, and money can make God's Kingdom on earth, and yet these are the very things Christ as aforementioned rejected.

Trusting man is sheer folly. We are to trust in the Son of Man, Jesus Christ (Mark 14:12, Matthew 24:30, Luke 9:22, Luke 24:7) who will come and build a physical kingdom that mirrors His Spiritual Kingdom (Revelation 20:4-7), and once His Thousand Year Reign is over, He will destroy this world with its politics, man made religion, and corruptions forever and ever (2 Peter 3 whole chapter, Revelation 21:1-18, Zachariah 14 whole chapter). Our faith (trust) must be in Christ Jesus, the Alpha and Omega, The King of Kings and Lord of Lords, the Ruler of Heaven and Earth. I become ill watching prominent Christians in Media proclaiming salvation in another man, in a President or Policy, and who look to men to build a strong nation, world, and unity (all of these are spirit of Antichrist, antichrist means to replace Christ with someone else, to make someone else a savior, which is why the Lord chastised the Kingdom of Judah to Jeremiah in Jeremiah 17:5). Jesus Christ is God and Man: He is the sinless Man (2 Corinthians 5:21, Hebrews 4:15) and Creator God who made all things (John 1:3, Colossians 1:16), only God as a Man can bring the unity, peace, and contentment we want on this earth but cannot find. We find that unity, peace, and contentment in Christ even now, through communing and connecting with Him in Spirit, and when He returns on Clouds we shall experience it even more fully (Revelation 21:22-27, 1 Corinthians 12:12-13).

Our faith and trust can be in only One. We cannot split our faith into God and into men. The only meeting of God and Men in our faith is the God Man Jesus Christ who is perfect and who is One with Father, and Holy Spirit; Three but One God who has always existed. Right now the spirit of antichrist is hard at work (1 John 4:3) to deceive if even possible the elect in the Church into trusting other human beings (Matthew 24:24). At first this antichrist spirit seeks to simply draw the hearts of brothers and sisters in Christ to certain men of influence, but in time it will be to one man, the Man of Lawlessness, the Antichrist incarnate (2 Thessalonians 2:1-11, Revelation 13 whole chapter). So beware brothers and sisters in Christ! Do not divide your faith between Christ and some politician or powerful human! For the set up for the Beast is visible to those with eyes to see and ears to hear (Matthew 13:16, Revelation 3:22), and if you are not careful you too will be swallowed up in the Lawlessness of Satan (2 Thessalonians 2:5-11). So do as the Lord said to Jeremiah, "The LORD says, "I will put a curse on people who trust in mere human beings, who depend on mere flesh and blood for their strength, and whose hearts have turned away from the LORD" (Jeremiah 17:5), do as Jesus Christ himself did, "But Jesus didn't trust them, because he knew human nature, and needed no one to bear witness about man, for he himself knew what was in man." (John 2:24-25). and remember that your faith, trust, and love must be centered solely on Lord God Jesus Christ Himself (Matthew 22:36-41). Amen.

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These w

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come and died for our sins an

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few people are endeavo
