The Blame Game

There is a narrative going on, that is pining Radical Islamic Terrorism on Christian Extremists. Madam Secretary, Season 3, starring Tea Leoni features a Christian Radical who helps ISIS make bombs. On yahoo news yesterday, an article featured Radical Christians Terrorists, and equating them to ISIS, Hezbollah, Al-Qaeda, and all the multitudes of Islamic Terrorists. This is a blame game.Sure there have been nuts radicals killing in name of Christ, but the difference is obvious, the radicals Christian's are a minority, and the Christian faith does not teach militancy. Instead the Lord Jesus Christ said, "love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you," (Matthew 5:44), "my kingdom is not of this world," (John 18:36), and "And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’No other commandment is greater than these." (Mark 12:30-31). Islam is entirely different, the religion itself, its holy book and Prophet teach that salvation is earned through killing others and dying a martyr's death is the only way to achieve salvation for a Muslim, while a Christian believes God died for all Christians to gain them eternal life and salvation two thousand and seventeen years ago. This movement to blame Christians for Islamic Radicalism comes from Pres. Obama, who when terrorists attacked more Americans cited the Crusades and shamed Christians for wars that happened 726 years ago, Radical Islamic Jihad Akbar is happening today across the globe, its been around since 622 to 2017 A.D., and has not stopped since the Prophet Muhammed led the holy wars of Jihad, and ethnic cleansing. Christians en masse do not lead violent protests, fight holy wars, or do anything of the kind; occasionally lone wolves and cult member Christians do crazy things under demonic influence, but there isn't a coalition of radical Christians like the Islamic equivalents ISIS/ISIL/D'ash, Al-Qaeda, Hezbollah, Al-Sahib, Boko Harem, and etc. In addition, a british nut case made Saladin famous in 20th century, causing grievance industry that the Crusaders made Muslims angry, which according to Crusader Historians (Thomas Asbridge, Jonathan Riley-Smith, Jonathan Phillips) is a bogus argument because the Muslims won most of the Crusades, and Saladin was hated for his lengthy wars on Muslims, and is today hated by Muslims.

The Blame Game is a goal by Liberal-Progressives who have aligned with Muslims to malign Christianity, and blame it all on Crusaders of past, or once in blue moon nut case claiming to be Christian who is a shooter or destroys property (one wonders if these people are paid off or threatened by Muslims secretly to do this, since their reasons are never clear). In contrast, the Muslim Terrorists shout "Allahu Akbar!" a statement from Quran as they kill infidels. Every religion has some nuts who do insane things because they are mentally unstable. We don't demonize the Democrats because one Democratic President, named Andrew Jackson was harsh slave owner who was sadist, and call all democrats demons, no we single out Jackson as a bad example. With Islam its different, the very core and soul of the religion is violence, murder, and harming infidels. Christianity doesn't teach violence, murder, or harming unbelievers; in contrast it leaves violence to God in last days at Judgement Day (Revelation 19:11-16), murder is a sin (Exodus 20:13), and Christian believe in preaching the Good News that Jesus is God and saves you through what He did on cross (Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:15).

I thought I would do a compare and contrast of what The Holy Bible and The Quran Teaches:

Holy Bible: "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." -Romans 5:8 
Quran: "Allah is an enemy to unbelievers." - Sura 2:98

Holy Bible: 3This is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth." (1 Timothy 2:3-4). "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9)
Quran: "On unbelievers is the curse of Allah." - Sura 2:161

Holy Bible: "This means that God's holy people must endure persecution patiently, obeying his commands and maintaining their faith in Jesus." (Revelation 14:12) 
Quran: "Slay them wherever ye find them and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution is worse than slaughter." - Sura 2:191

Holy Bible: ""Put your sword back in its place," Jesus said to him, "for all who draw the sword will die by the sword." (Matthew 26:52). "But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also." (Matthew 5:39). 

Quran: "Fighting is obligatory for you, much as you dislike it. - 2:216
(different translation: ) Prescribed for you is fighting, though it is hateful to you.

Holy Bible: "For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day." (John 6:40). 

Quran: "..... martyrs.... Enter heaven" - Surah 3:140-43

Holy Bible: "Then he said to them all: "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me." (Luke 9:23). "Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place." (John 18:36). 

Quran: "Let those fight in the cause of God who sell the life of this world for the hereafter. To him who fights in the cause of God, whether he is slain or victorious, soon we shall give him a great reward." - Surah 4:74

Holy Bible: "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another," (John 13:24), "But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you," (Matthew 5:44), "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." (1 Corinthians 13:13). 

Quran: "Therefore, we stirred among them enmity and hatred, which shall endure till the Day of Resurrection, when Allah will declare to them all that they have done." - Sura 5:14

Holy Bible: "He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation," (Mark 16:15), "But to you who are willing to listen, I say, love your enemies! Do good to those who hate you. ²⁸ Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you. ²⁹ If someone slaps you on one cheek, offer the other cheek also. If someone demands your coat, offer your shirt also. ³⁰ Give to anyone who asks; and when things are taken away from you, don’t try to get them back. ³¹ Do to others as you would like them to do to you. If you love only those who love you, why should you get credit for that? Even sinners love those who love them! ³³ And if you do good only to those who do good to you, why should you get credit? Even sinners do that much! ³⁴ And if you lend money only to those who can repay you, why should you get credit? Even sinners will lend to other sinners for a full return. Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked. ³⁶ You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate." (Luke 6:27-3^). 

Quran: "O believers, take not Jews and Christians as friends; they are friends of each other. Those of you who make them his friends is one of them. God does not guide an unjust people." -Sura 5:54

Holy Bible: Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit," (Matthew 28:19), and "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." (Matthew 24:14). 

Quran: "Make war on them until idolatry is no more and Allah's religion reigns supreme - Sura 8:39

Holy Bible: "And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel (of the Good News, John 3:16, John 6:40, Romans 10:9-10) to the whole creation." (Mark 16:15). 

Quran: "Allah will humble the unbelievers. Allah and His apostle are free from obligations to idol-worshipers. Proclaim a woeful punishment to the unbelievers." - Sura 9:2-3

Holy Bible: "and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me, in the same way, after supper He took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me. For every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are announcing the Lord's death until he comes again." (1 Corinthians 11:24-26). 

Quran: "When the sacred months are over, slay the idolaters wherever you find them. Arrest them, besiege them, and lie in ambush everywhere for them." - Sura 9:5

Holy Bible: "Here's the lesson: Use your worldly resources to benefit others and make friends. Then, when your earthly possessions are gone, they will welcome you to an eternal home." (Luke 16:9) 
Quran: Whether unarmed or well-equipped, march on and fight for the cause of Allah, with your wealth and your persons." - Sura 9:41

Holy Bible: "What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs—beautiful on the outside but filled on the inside with dead people’s bones and all sorts of impurity. ²⁸ Outwardly you look like righteous people, but inwardly your hearts are filled with hypocrisy and lawlessness." (Matthew 23:27-28). Jesus tells the hypocrites an eternal place of judgement awaits them, but He offers them salvation through believing in Him, "" (). 
Quran: "O Prophet! Make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites. Be harsh with them. Their ultimate abode is hell, a hapless journey's end." - Sura 9:73.


Holy Bible: And He said to him, "Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise." (Luke 23:43).
Quran: "As for those who are slain in the cause of Allah, He will not allow their works to perish. He will vouchsafe them guidance and ennoble their state; He will admit them to the Paradise He has made known to them." - Sura 10:4-15

Holy Bible: "You have heard the law that says, ‘Love your neighbor’and hate your enemy.  But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike. If you love only those who love you, what reward is there for that? Even corrupt tax collectors do that much. If you are kind only to your friends,how are you different from anyone else? Even pagans do that. But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect." (Matthew 5:43-48)/ 
Quran: "When you meet the unbelievers, smite their necks, then when you have made wide slaughter among them, tie fast the bonds, then set them free, either by grace or ransom, until the war lays down its burdens." - Sura 47:4
(different translation: ) When you meet the unbelievers in the battlefield, strike off their heads, and when you have laid them low, bind your captives firmly.

Holy Bible: "But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." (Matthew 5:44)
Quran: "Muslims are harsh against the unbelievers, merciful to one another." -Sura 48:25

Holy Bible: "It is foolish to the Jews, who ask for signs from heaven. And it is foolish to the Greeks, who seek human wisdom. ²³ So when we preach that Christ was crucified, the Jews are offended and the Gentiles say it’s all nonsense.  But to those called by God to salvation, both Jews and Gentiles,^[a] Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God. ²⁵ This foolish plan of God is wiser than the wisest of human plans, and God’s weakness is stronger than the greatest of human strength." (1 Corinthians 1:22-25). 
Quran: "Fight those who believe neither in God nor the Last Day, nor what has been forbidden by God and his messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, even if they are People of the Book, until they pay the tribute and have been humbled. - 9:29 (another source: ) The unbelievers are impure and their abode is hell. (another source: ) Humiliate the non-Muslims to such an extent that they surrender and pay tribute." -Sura 9:29


It is evident in a comparison, that Christ Jesus who is God (Colossians 2:9, Titus 2:13) says love your enemy, be kind to those who mistreat you, and share the Gospel with all nations is in direct contrast to Islam's Allah who calls for hating enemies, being harsh to those who aren't Muslims, and to conquer all nations (Surah). Pinning the birth and axis of Islamic Extremism on Christian Radicals is insane. Yes, there are misguided and unstable people who do bad things, but that is true of any religion. But only Islam has at is core killing other people to be saved, being harsh to non-Muslims, and hatred of all people who aren't Muslim. Islam's book the Quran teaches to be violent and make war (see the  suras above), Islamic Radical Extremism is endored by Allah, and their Prophet Muhammed, its a core tenant of Islam. While Christianity's core if faith, hope, and love. The rhetoric and goal to malign Christianity and blame Islamic Radicalism on Christian nut cases like cult leaders, is bizarre. The Holy Bible does not endorse violence, even in end of Days we Christians are told just to endure (Revelation 14:12, Matthew 24:12-13) not fight, but The Quran teaches to make war until the end of days.

I have made the case as best I can. I wanted you to see the seeds for violence in Christianity aren't the Holy Bible. For those who would use the Old Testament to say it had violence like King David and King Saul, I say this, we Christian adhere to New Testament, its called Law of Approbation, what is written later is more important than what was written before, "When God speaks of a "new" covenant, it means he has made the first one obsolete. It is now out of date and will soon disappear." (Hebrews 8:13). Since Jesus Christ who is LORD God came in flesh and died for our sins and rose from dead, the Law has been replaced with Grace and Salvation in Jesus Alone.
In Islam, the First half of the Quran was more peaceful and tolerantly, but the Second Half of Quran written by Muhammed is full of violence, Jihad Akbar, and hatred; the Quran also uses The Law of Approbation, what Muhammed wrote later was more important than what was written before in earlier half of the Quran. Thus, the Terrorists Muslims are actually fundamentalist and authentic Muslims.

The Blame Game has to stop! Christians are not the militants, it is Muslims who are militant. This game is to blame shift, scapegoat, and malign the character of us Christian believers. It is a front to try and exonerate murders like ISIS, and make peaceful Christians living in the West look like villains. Don't listen to these lies.
