Eight Years Ends in Tears



Today marks the end of the eight year War in Iraq. It's hard to believe it was eight years ago that America suffered the greatest attack since Pearl Harbor. It's hard to believe our men at arms have been fighting in petulant desert all these years. Now the troops are coming home. The feelings are a mix of jubilance and despair. First we are thankful that many are returning to their families, that those brave and bold individuals can finally come home. But then we lament the deaths of all those who fought for the cause of liberty. What do those in their graves say to our Government that has forsaken the battle for freedom in Iraq? What can the Obama Administration say to console all the mothers and family members that must now visit the tombs of their sons and tell them It's over, we have failed. No victory banner flies, no triumphant cries. Just somber hearts and lies meant to silence our cries. The war is over, but the struggle remains. Iraq remains in trouble, surrounded by hostiles. Will she survive the coming tempest without US assistance? Can democracy thrive in a desolate land now abandoned? All these questions haunt us and yet we must eventually cope with the decision of those in power. I mourn with my military brothers. That after all the progress that has been made, tomorrow Iraq could be in hands of another tyrant. The decision to recall our service men is going to have major ramifications. Today is not a time to celebrate, it is to embrace our military personal and tell them we honor their service. We must let them know we will not forget their sacrifice. We shall welcome them back with loving arms and mourn the loss of those that gave their lives for a cause that this administration gave up on.

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic!
