Though None Go With Me, I Will Walk With Jesus

I heard a very profound song on the radio. It talks about the void inside people, how so many try to fill it with causes and others means, but instead I am gonna walk with Jesus:

“So many people tryna fill a void inside

So many questions, asking how, asking why

I might not have all the answers, but I've tasted and I've seen

There's a better path with Jesus, there's no going back for me

I'm gonna live the way He says to live

Do what He says to do

You can choose whatever road you choose

But I'm gonna love the way He says to love

Trust the way He says to trust

This world alone will never be enough

So I'm gonna walk with Jesus

I'm gonna walk, I'm gonna walk

I'm gonna walk with Jesus

I'm gonna walk with Jesus

(I'm gonna walk, I'm gonna walk)

He's in the leading, that's why I follow where He goes

He's in restoring, all the lost and broken souls

He keeps moving rich in mercy, He meets us where we are

No matter where you've gone, no such thing as 'gone too far'

I'm gonna live the way He says to live

Do what He says to do

You can choose whatever road you choose

But I'm gonna love the way He says to love

Trust the way He says to trust

This world alone will never be enough

So I'm gonna walk with Jesus

I'm gonna walk, I'm gonna walk

I'm gonna walk with Jesus, I'm gonna walk with Jesus

I'm gonna walk (I'm gonna walk), I'm gonna walk (I'm gonna walk)

I'm gonna walk with Jesus (I'm gonna walk)

Though none go with me, still I will follow

Though none go with me

I'm gonna walk, I'm gonna walk

Though none go with me, still I will follow

Though none go with me

I'm gonna walk, I'm gonna walk

Though none go with me, still I will follow

Though none go with me

I'm gonna walk, I'm gonna walk

(Though none go with me)

I'm gonna live the way He says to live

Do what He says to do

You can choose whatever road you choose

But I'm gonna love the way He says to love

Trust the way He says to trust

This world alone will never be enough

So I'm gonna walk with Jesus

I'm gonna walk, I'm gonna walk

I'm gonna walk with Jesus, I'm gonna walk with Jesus

I'm gonna walk, I'm gonna walk

I'm gonna walk with Jesus, I'm gonna walk with Jesus

I'm gonna walk

I'm gonna walk with Jesus

I'm gonna walk with Jesus”

The line that haunted me most was “Though none go with me, I am gonna walk with Jesus.” As we are seeing Christianity in decline in popularity in The West and the rise of occultism, Nones, and Eastern mysticism, we must adopt this attitude! Though no others walk with Jesus, I will walk with Jesus. There is actually a Scripture that alludes to this, “I tell you that He will bring about justice for them speedily. However, when the Son of Man comes (returns), will He find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8). This ominous passage paints a picture of a world that is not Christian dominate, in fact the Book of Revelation tells us the Antichrist will conquer all people, “And the beast was allowed to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And he was given authority to rule over every tribe and people and language and nation,” (Revelation 13:7), and that so many people will follow Satan, as many as sand of sea, “When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—and to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore.” (Revelation 20:7-8). So we must make our walk with Jesus not based on popularity or numbers, for Jesus even said, “They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God,” (John 16:2), “If you were of the world, it would love you as its own. Instead, the world hates you, because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world,” (John 15:19), “You will be hated by everyone because of My name, but the one who perseveres to the end will be saved,” (Matthew 10:22), and “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.” (Matthew 24:9).

We have to adopt the disposition and heart of this song! Though no other will walk with Jesus, I will walk with Jesus! Our heart must be this committed. The Mega Church model is not going to last. Preterism, and idea that the whole world will be Christian before Jesus Returns is a not Scriptural and is against the words of Christ himself! We are told the opposite is true, and we must walk with Jesus, know Jesus in intimate relationship, and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus (Hebrews 12:2). Amen.

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. The...

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come...

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few peop...
