The Salvation Clock is Ticking

As humans we have great hubris. We think we have an infinite amount of time to tend to things, and often put the important matters on hold. Even though our day chimes with a clock, we live in a state of illusion that there is plenty of time left. When in truth we are not promised the next day, nor hour, nor second.

In this state of denial about time, people put off salvation, believing that they have plenty of days ahead to trek the Narrow Path. The reality though is midnight is upon us. At the stroke of midnight, Christ will return, and when He does  the time of salvation [the chances to believe in Him as Savior]  will be over, hence the verse, “For he says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation”(2 Corinthians 6:2).  When Christ Returns in the sky it will be too late for people to repent and believe in Him (Revelation 6:16, Revelation 19:11-19). So the burden is upon us to reach out with the Gospel while there is still time for people to believe in Jesus and be saved! The urgency cannot be understated. Once Our Lord appears in the sky, that’s it! The hourglass is empties, the clock chimes, and then comes the judgement! People are so unaware of how precarious their soul is. If they die without faith in Christ they perish for eternity (John 3:18), and if they refuse to believe in Christ before He appears on the clouds of heaven, they shall perish in the inferno for eternity! (Revelation 20:15).

Now is the time to grab hold of grace!  We arn’t promised tomorrow or even the next hour. Do not waste your opportunity to be one of the blessed whose salvation is secure in the Savior and Lord Jesus Christ!

Tick tock. The clock is going and before you is a choice. Choose to believe in Jesus Christ of Nazareth, who is God Incarnate (God in human flesh, God in a physical human body), LORD God, Son of God, Second Person of the Trinity (Means he is second listed as in prayer “In Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit” not second in importance, for Jesus Christ the Son Is One with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit), Lamb of God, King of Kings, Messiah, Savior, Alpha and Omega. If you do, if you trust in Jesus and His finished work of salvation on the cross and His rising from the dead you shall be saved! But even God sets limits, just as he did to the sky and sea (Proverbs 8:29), and the limit is you must believe in, confess aloud, and live in a relationship with Christ now before you die or He returns in the sky! That’s the bargain. He offers the free gift of salvation, but there is a time limit which is your life , “ And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment,”(Hebrews 9:27), and His Return, “But remember that they will have to face God, who stands ready to judge everyone, both the living and the dead.” (1 Peter 4:5). And He could return at any moment!

Don’t waste the clock, believe now! While you can. Amen.

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These w

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come and died for our sins an

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few people are endeavo
