Demon Sauce & K-Pop

The powers of this present darkness  are becoming more and more overt. The popularity of the demonic has surged in media with Demon Slayer, an anime, becoming massively popular and K-Pop, a Korean Group that includes their Demon Hunters story of them doing protective powers over audiences and in the Netflix movie fighting a demonic band called Saja. One of characters in Demon Hunters Movie is a half demon named Rumi who is good, and Korean Shamanism/Mythology is laced throughout The K-Pop concerts, which reminds me of the apostle’s words, “For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.” (2 Timothy 4:3-4) and “But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons.” (1 Timothy 4:1). The West is becoming comfortable with demons, viewing them in the Oriental fashion of good and bad demons (Inuyasha, and Kabuki Plays are examples of this twisted view, good demons being like angels or fairies), which is like The Wizard of Oz introducing there is Glenda the Good Witch and The Wicked Witch of the West, although Wicked has flipped that to make the Wicked Witch sympathetic and good from as Obi-Wan in his deranged advice said, “true from a certain point of view.” (Return of the Jedi). There is no good witches, there are no good  demons! Our Lord Jesus caste out demons (Mark 5:1-13, Matthew 9:32-33, Mark 1:32-34, Luke 11:20), and said we would too, “These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues.” (Mark 16:17).

The Demon Sauce at McDonalds would not have garnered as much attention from me if it was at Halloween time when things of that nature are often around. Some of hottest sauces are called Diablo or Devil’s Sauce. While I still would never taste those  sauces out of the apostle’s warning, “Abstain from all appearance of evil,” (1 Thessalonians 5:22), this demon sauce is not at All Hollow’s Eve but ties into K-Pop’s Demon Hunters, which aforementioned is promoting the demonicand Korean Shamanism/mythology/mysticism. Many saints get deceived into thinking Demon Slayer or Demon Hunters goes along with our spiritual warfare against demons, but Japanese and Korean warfare against demons uses talismans, spells, witchcraft, others demons, and Shamanism, not our Lord Jesus’ power. It in essence traps people into fighting demons with demons, demons who are of black magic variant fought with white magic demons. But the White Magic or ‘good demons’ or powers are more evil because it is deceptive like when Satan disguises himself, “And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light..” (2 Corinthians 11:14).

We have to be careful. The demon slaying that is coming out of Asia is not Christian. It is steeped in the mythology and mysticism of false religions and will invite into people’s lives demonic spirits to cause oppression. The apostle warns us, “You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord’s table and of the table of demons,” (1 Corinthians 10:21), and “Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership can righteousness have with wickedness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness? / What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? / What agreement can exist between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be My people.” (1 Corinthians 6:14-16). The same apostle says, do not be sharers in demons, “No, but I say that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to God; and I do not want you to become sharers in demons.” (1 Corinthians 10:20). While Paul was talking about legit demoncraft and participating in rituals, we are participating with media, you are inviting into your homes and honoring demons with entertainment like K-Pop Demon Hunters, Disney + shows like The Acolyte, and many others that implement real mystical & demonic rites in the guise of amusement. If we should not be participating in earnest, why would passively watching it be ok? That is like the person who says I did not speak up and agree with the crowd, but because you didn’t you are counted as one of them and the crowd believes you agree.

There are even some who think they can blend Christianity and Witchcraft into one, that they can participate with Christ and demons. This is spiritual insanity! The demons and our Lord have nothing in common, for the demons said to Jesus, “And they cried out, saying, “What business do we have with each other, Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?” (Matthew 8:29), and “I will not speak with you much longer, for the ruler of the world (Satan) is coming. And he has no place in me.” (John 14:30). I will reiterate the words of the apostle lead by The Holy Spirit’s inspiration,  “You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord’s table and of the table of demons,” (1 Corinthians 10:21). There is no harmony between following Jesus and demons! You cannot be lukewarm, “So because you are lukewarm (spiritually useless), and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of My mouth [rejecting you with disgust].” (Revelation 3:16).

The demonic is becoming more and more pronounced. It seems like movies, shows, video games, musicians like K-Pop, and more are tapping into the demonic. The Scriptures  foretell this, “But the Spirit explicitly says that in last days some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons,” (1 Timothy 4:1), and “for they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them together for the war of the great day of God, the Almighty.” (Revelation 16:14). This is all the activity of Satan which will lead to the advent of the antichrist, “The coming of the [Antichrist, the lawless] one is through the activity of Satan, [attended] with great power [all kinds of counterfeit miracles] and [deceptive] signs and false wonders [all of them lies] and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.” (2 Thessalonians 2:9-10).

We as Christians have to not be swept away in the tide of the demonic. We have to wrestle against them, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places,” (Ephesians 6:12), and test the spirits, “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the worldBy this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.” (1 John 4:1-3). Our call as followers of Christ and Children of God is to fight against demons by God’s power, not entertain them and play with them! You have to pick a side people! The Table of the Lord or the table of demons! Amen.

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come...

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few peop...

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. The...
