Persecution of Christians Globally On The Rise

Persecution of Christians is on the rise globally. The ICC (International Christian Concern) has been documented in a 116pg report that over 300 Million Christians are being subjected to persecution in the form of imprisonment, torture, punishments, and even assassination! In Nigeria, Africa Christian Farmers are being run off their farms in the millions; they are mutilated even and if they return they are subjected to further mistreatment. How are we in The West turning a blind eye to Christian brothers and sisters suffering?! Oh we have pastors making millions (you know their names) while our family in Christ is being carved up, put in concentration camps, yes there are camps the size of Washington D.C. that Christians are being kept in and slowly exterminated! (https://cbn.com/news/world/christians-terrorized-around-globe-how-murder-torture-mayhem-point-growing-persecution). Our Holocaust is happening! And no one is talking about it save CBN News! The estimated persecuted when compared to the growth of Christianity by 2027 is that 10% of Christians are being persecuted (300 Million out of 3 Billion). We should be moved just because one Christian is harmed, but 300 Million is a lot of people! It is close to the total of people in The United States at 334.9 Million! We are talking about if you round down, to the entire USA population being persecuted!

This I believe is the birth pains of the fulfillment of Revelation Chapter 13, when the Beast rises and begins to pour out its wrath on those who will not bow to it "And the beast was allowed to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And he was given authority to rule over every tribe and people and language and nation." (Revelation 13:7). Christians shall be so persecuted then that we are urged with following words, "This means that God’s holy people must endure persecution patiently, obeying his commands and maintaining their faith in Jesus." (Revelation 14:12). That we are seeing the amalgamation, the coming together of the nations that will make up the Beast, and crush the saints (Rev 13:7). We think that the bastions for Christian freedom will continue to stand, but in England a man who was praying silently near an abortion clinic (he said nothing publicly, no loud protest) was put in prison, in Canada people were getting picked up for hosting Bible Studies in their homes, and in the United States Christians have had their organizations censored on social media and been the subject of persecution by the FBI and IRS. Even in Israel persecution of Christians is on the rise (see my last year post, https://sirjeffreypendragonblog.blogspot.com/2024/09/persecution-of-christians-in-jerusalem.html). Combine these persecution with the plethora of films and shows now paint Christianity and Catholicism as repressive and bad, like the horrible new movie Heretic (2024), while witchcraft and Satanism is lauded in Mayfair Witches (2025) as well as other paganism. It is evident that this persecution of the saints is not going to stop, it has always been with us as it was with the apostles, however, the eschatological passages of Scripture tell us that at the end of days persecution will be so severe, that not many will stand firm (Matthew 24:10-13) or survive physically (Revelation Chapter Thirteen).

We have become complacent, thinking that persecution orbits countries that have non-Christian leaders like India where they command to kill Christians or in Turkey where their president wants a war against the cross, but we do not is expect persecution in our post Geneva Convention nations. The truth is that the nations rage against the saints, and not only the ones that already have hated the cross of Christ. No, we are seeing persecution of Christians in the freer world, if you are not a lukewarm Christian who conforms to the world (Romans 12:2) then you are a threat. The tide is turning brothers and sisters in Christ! We must prepare, please look up Richard Wurmbrandt's book on preparing for persecution. We need to get ready, already the world is starting to turn on the followers of Christ. The Era of the Donation of Constantine, and Christianity being the faith of the Empire, and later European and American countries is coming to an end, in that favor is fading, and persecution is rising! We must not delay fellow disciples, we must recognize that it may be only ten percent of Christians are suffering severe persecution, but Islam in 2027 will be 7 Billion, and us Christians only 3 Billion, which means they will outnumber us by double. The future is not Christendom, as the Preterist error teaches, that all the world will be Christian, no Scripture says that The Beast will seek to wipe us out, we shall be hunted, hated, and hewn down. Now is the time to prepare, to become as Wurmbradt was in his "Tortured For Christ."

We need to prioritize helping the 300 Million Christians who are being persecuted. Enough of this sending money to help pagans who we hope will be swayed to the faith! No, the priority must be our brothers in Christ, "What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? Suppose you see a brother or sister [In Christ] who has no food or clothing, and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do?" (James 2:14-16) and "The King will answer and say to them, ‘I assure you and most solemnly say to you, to the extent that you did it for one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it for Me." (Matthew 25:40); we are the ones Jesus calls brothers, "We who have been made holy by Jesus, now have the same Father he has. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call us his brothers." (Hebrews 2:11) and "Then he looked at those seated in a circle around him and said, “Here are my mother and my bro, hers! Whoever does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother," (Mark 3:34-35), and "For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day." (John 6:40). So you see clearly, when we help a brother or sister in Christ, we are helping Christ himself! (Matt 25:40). So if we neglect to help our 300 Million brothers, we are neglecting Jesus! We need to step up and help! Raise awareness, find a way to help! Our family in Christ depends on it! Amen.

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. The...

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come...

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few peop...
