The Coming Wrath of God

As Christians we emphasize grace and preach, “God so loved the world..” (John 3:16).  We want to point out that the wrath of God does not rest on those who believe, “For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,” (1 Thessalonians 5:9), “and to await His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead--Jesus our deliverer from the coming wrath,” (1 Thessalonians 1:10), and  “Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!,” (Romans 5:9),l. However, those who refuse to believe and practice wickedness are going to be trod in winepress of God’s wrath, “The grapes were trampled in the winepress outside the city, and blood flowed from the winepress in a stream about 180 miles long and as high as a horse’s bridle.” (Revelation 14:20), “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him,” (John 3:36), and “The one believing in Him is not judged, but the one not believing already has been judged, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God,” (John 3:18). They will be judged because the refuse The Son (John 3:18) and subsequently are filled with Satan, “You used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying the devil—the commander of the powers in the unseen world. He is the spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God.” (Ephesians 2:2 NLT). I find great comfort that the cruel and devilish people who do us harm, who even devour us disciples of Christ shall be torn apart in the winepress, ripped to pieces, “He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth,” (Matthew 24:51), “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels,” (Matthew 25:51), and caste into the lake of fire!, “And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire” (Revelation 20:15).

King Solomon said, “When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people groan..” (Proverbs 29:2). We are groaning as our world is being manipulated ans controlled by the wicked. There is comfort that Jesus when he returns will sweep the nations with the sword pf his mouth (Revelation 1:16) and tare asunder all who serve the evil one and have done us harm. Those who think they can now prey upon us, and enjoy tormenting The Saints have a reckoning coming, when The Lion of Judah arrives they will ask to hide themselves from His wrath, “They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!” (Revelation 6:16), but there attempts will be in vain, for there is no stopping The Wrath of the Lamb that is coming doe them. Only faith in Jesus stays the sickle of judgement (Romans 5:9, 1 Thessalonians 1:10)

I confess the older I get and the more I experience the sinful behavior of the stubbornly unsaved and wicked, the more I look forward to with anticipation The Return of our Lord Jesus & The Last Judgement, and find myself pleasing as martyrs do, “They shouted to the Lord and said, “O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you judge the people who belong to this world and avenge our blood for what they have done to us? ” (Revelation 6:10-11).. For a long time the Last Judgement was a hallmark of Christian art, and even plays, but fearing it obscures The Love of God, it was put aside for Crucifixes. Frankly I think the love of God is in his wrath as well as His grace because I feel loved by Jesus that he is returning to destroy the antichrist and all devilish people who like their father the devil  did us harm. That justice is coming, and He will tear apart all who mistreated us and refused to repent and believe His gospel. Amen.

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. The...

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come...

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few peop...
