The God of Israel Never Wanted A Temple Building, and How God's People Keep Rejecting God: For Jews and Christians Please Read.

The God of Israel Never Wanted A Temple Building, and How God's People Keep Rejecting God: For Jews and Christians Please Read. Contains Tankh and New Testament proof.

The One True God, The God of Israel who is The Father (Y'WH), The Son Jesus Christ (Jehovah, Yehovah, Romans 10:9 in Hebrew, Jesus is LORD means Jesus is Jehovah), and Holy Spirit (Rouch HaKodesh) but One (Elohim, plural see Genesis 1:26) never wanted a Temple. The God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Peter, Paul, and John always walked with His people in a tabernacle, tent, and among them. It says in Genesis that in the Garden of Eden that the Lord walked and talked with Adam (Genesis 3:8-15). There was no building or temple, just a garden with every life form from man to animals to nature. (Genesis Chapter One and Two). Then when King David wanted to build a stone temple, the Lord rebuked the idea from the Prophet Nathan, ""When King David was settled in his palace and the LORD had given him rest from all the surrounding enemies, the king summoned Nathan the prophet. "Look," David said, "I am living in a beautiful cedar palace, but the Ark of God is out there in a tent!" Nathan replied to the king, "Whatever you have in mind, go ahead and do it, for the LORD is with you." But that night the word of the LORD came to Nathan, saying: "Go and tell my servant David, 'This is what the LORD says: Are you the one to build me a house to dwell in? I have never lived in a house, from the day I brought the Israelites out of Egypt until this very day. I have always moved from one place to another with a tent and a Tabernacle as my dwelling. Yet no matter where I have gone with the Israelites, I have never once complained to Israel's tribal leaders, the shepherds of my people Israel. I have never asked them, "Why haven't you built me a beautiful cedar house?" "Now then, tell my servant David, 'This is what the LORD Almighty says: I took you from the pasture, from tending the flock, and appointed you ruler over my people Israel. I have been with you wherever you have gone, and I have cut off all your enemies from before you. Now I will make your name great, like the names of the greatest men on earth. And I will provide a place for my people Israel and will plant them so that they can have a home of their own and no longer be disturbed. Wicked people will not oppress them anymore, as they did at the beginning. and have done ever since the time I appointed leaders over my people Israel. I will also give you rest from all your enemies. The LORD declares to you that the LORD himself will establish a house for you: When your days are over and you rest with your ancestors, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, your own flesh and blood, and I will establish his kingdom. He is the one who will build a house for my Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever." (2 Samuel 7:1-13). The God of Israel was to be different than the gods of this present darkness, who demanded sanctuaries and buildings to house their idols. Adonai, the Lord God did not want to be associated with other gods, for He had talked to Abraham in Ur and later in the Promised Land without a building (Genesis 17, Genesis 12, Genesis 24). In fact, the Prophet Daniel discovered that Jehovah has not need of a building, that Jehovah was with His people not matter where they dwelt, even in Babylon, this is confirmed by how Daniel was delivered from Lion's den (Daniel 6), how he was in favor with the kings of Babylon, the meads, and more.

The One True God so does not like temples and buildings, that when He came in body (Colossians 1) He spent very little time in Herod's Temple. The Gospels record that Jesus was circumcised there (), He preached to students of Sanhedrin (Luke 2:41-52), He went there for festivals (reluctantly, John 7:2-6), He preached before His death (19:47, Luke 20:37), and finally He cleared/cleansed the Temple (Matthew 21:12-17, John 2:13-22) of its service to the god Mammon (Luke 16) and cried, "My father's house is to be house of prayer for all nations, but you have made it a den of thieves!" (). Many believe Jesus was saying this about Herod's Temple, but actually Christ was addressing the hearts of the Jewish people, that they loved money (god Mammon, Matthew 6:24) more, and were defiling themselves as much as the Temple they had turned into a market (see how Satan invented marketing and merchandise in Ezekiel 28, Isaiah 44). Yeshua (Jesus), and so this cleansing of temple was symbolic of the spiritual cleansing that the Jews needed (see Matthew 23). This cleansing is connected to Exodus 20 and 24, because God told His people not to have other gods or idols, and money can be an idol and has a god named Mammon. Jesus spent most of His time teaching in villages in Bethany, Capernaum, Tiberius, and more. He frequented Galilee so much so that people wrongly believed he was born there and said, "“How can the Christ (Christ was Greek Septuagint word for Messiah that Jews used) come from Galilee? Does not Scripture say that the Messiah will come from David's descendants and from Bethlehem, the town where David lived?" (John 7:41-42).

but they did not know the truth that Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem (Matthew 2:1) and fled to Egypt (Matthew 2:13-15, this fulfilled Jewish prophecy, see verse 15), and then they moved to Nazareth (Matthew 2:19-23). Elohim in Body, Jesus Christ (Colossians 1:19, Colossians 2:9, Ephesians 1:23) did not spend much time in Temple built by Zerubbabel and renovated by King Herod The Great  because the temple itself is a pagan system of worship, and the Lord had told Israel His real intentions, "This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time," declares the LORD. "I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, 'Know the LORD,' because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest," declares the LORD. "For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more." (Jeremiah 31:33-34). This was fulfilled by Jesus Christ's death, for now the Law (The Word, John 1:1-13) lives in those who believe, "
For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit," (1 Peter 3:18), "All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation," (2 Corinthians 5:18), "For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross," (Colossians 1:19-20), and "For since the law has but a shadow of the good things to come instead of the true form of these realities, it can never, by the same sacrifices that are continually offered every year, make perfect those who draw near. Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered, since the worshipers, having once been cleansed, would no longer have any consciousness of sins? But in these sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year. For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
Consequently, when Christ[a] came into the world, he said,
“Sacrifices and offerings you have not desired,
    but a body have you prepared for me;
in burnt offerings and sin offerings
    you have taken no pleasure.
Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come to do your will, O God,
as it is written of me in the scroll of the book.’”
When he said above, “You have neither desired nor taken pleasure in sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings” (these are offered according to the law), then he added, “Behold, I have come to do your will.” He does away with the first in order to establish the second. 10 And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
11 And every priest stands daily at his service, offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. 12 But when Christ[b] had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God, 13 waiting from that time until his enemies should be made a footstool for his feet. 14 For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.
15 And the Holy Spirit also bears witness to us; for after saying,
16 “This is the covenant that I will make with them
after those days, declares the Lord:
I will put my laws on their hearts,
and write them on their minds,”
17 then he adds,
“I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more.”

18 Where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer any offering for sin. Therefore, brothers,[c] since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, 20 by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
26 For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries. 28 Anyone who has set aside the law of Moses dies without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses. 29 How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him who said, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay.” And again, “The Lord will judge his people.” 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
32 But recall the former days when, after you were enlightened, you endured a hard struggle with sufferings, 33 sometimes being publicly exposed to reproach and affliction, and sometimes being partners with those so treated. 34 For you had compassion on those in prison, and you joyfully accepted the plundering of your property, since you knew that you yourselves had a better possession and an abiding one. 35 Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised. 37 For,
“Yet a little while,
    and the coming one will come and will not delay;
38 but my righteous one shall live by faith,
    and if he shrinks back,
my soul has no pleasure in him.”
39 But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls." (Hebrews 10:1-39).

We are told that when the God of Israel and Gentiles (), the Trinity restores paradise, there will be no Temple, "I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple." (Revelation 21:22). In addition, we Christians who are the Sons of Abraham through Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:28-29), and because Jesus Christ is the Son of Abraham, and David (Matthew 1:1) according to flesh Son of David, and according to Spirit Son of God and yet one, "Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God, which he promised beforehand through his prophets in the holy Scriptures, concerning his Son, who was descended from David according to the flesh and was declared to be the Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness by his resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith for the sake of his name among all the nations, including you who are called to belong to Jesus Christ," (Romans 1:1-6). We now have God dwelling in us Christians as His temple, what He had always wanted, to restore the connection, closeness, and bond He had with Adam. We are God's temple, first prophesized by Nathan and then revealed to the Apostles,"LORD himself will establish a house for you: When your days are over and you rest with your ancestors, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, your own flesh and blood, and I will establish his kingdom. He is the one who will build a house for my Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever." (2 Samuel 7:12-13). Jesus did this by being crucified outside the Temple grounds, "And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood. Let us, then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore." (Hebrews 13:12-13). Jesus died to create a new temple, a new house, his people, Christians who are both Jews and Gentiles (Romans 1:16, Romans 10;12, Galatians 3:28-29, )!, "Don't you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you?" (1 Corinthians 3:16), "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own," (1 Corinthians 6:19), "But Christ, as the Son, is in charge of God's entire house. And we are God's house, if we keep our courage and remain confident in our hope in Christ," (Hebrews 3:6), "What agreement can exist between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be My people," (2 Corinthians 6:16), "In Him the whole building is fitted together and grows into a holy temple in the Lord, And in Him you too are being built together into a dwelling place for God in His Spirit," (Ephesians 2:21-22), "so that, if I am delayed, you will know how each one must conduct himself in God's household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth," (1 Timothy 3:15), "You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ," (Romans 8:9), "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me," (Galatians 2:20), "Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you--unless, of course, you fail the test? And I trust that you will discover that we have not failed the test," (2 Corinthians 13:5-6).

The Reason the Temple was destroyed by Titus in 70 A.D. was that Elohim wanted His people, Jews, Gentiles, Egyptians, and more (see verses) to know that they can be God's temples, carrying Him in their bodies, flesh tabernacles as they wonder the Earth proclaiming the Good News (Gospel) that God has forgiven the sins of those who believe in His Son, Jesus Christ, and now can walk and talk with God as Adam did! Jesus Christ proclaimed the destruction of the Temple of Herod, and said, "Jesus answered them, "Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days." They replied, "It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?" But the temple he had spoken of was his body." (John 2:19-21). This was Jesus meaning He is Temple of His People (1 Corinthians 3:16), and it also meant He would rebuild the true temple, His people and live in them and with them as the aforementioned verses testify.

The pagans build temples out of fear of their gods and adherents had to go to that temple to worship and offer sacrifices. But the God of Israel did not delight in sacrifices (Psalm 51:16, 1 Samuel 55:22, Hebrews 10:8), nor did He want a temple building but instead was content with tabernacle, a tent, which is portable and can go with His people anywhere (2 Samuel 7:2), and The Ark of Covenant was portable too, it had rods to carry it (Exodus 37); now God because of Jesus Christ (Jehovah)'s sacrifice to cover sins once for all can dwell in those who believe in Christ (Romans 10:9-10, John 3:16-18). The Tabernacle in the Wilderness was symbol of God's intent to live in His people, and live with them where they go which is fulfilled through Christ literally being God (Colossians 2:9, Colossians 1:1-20, John 17, John 14:6) and taking on a human body, and by Christ living in His people via the Spirit. The God of Israel is an intimate, loving (1 John 4:8), and close God who wants to be with His people. He tried to do this in wilderness with Israelites, but they rejected Him, "8So Moses took the blood and sprinkled it on the people, and said, "Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD has made with you in accordance with all these words (note this symbolic of Jesus' Blood that makes you pure to be in presence of God see), Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and the seventy elders of Israel went up and saw the God of Israel. Under his feet was something like a pavement made of lapis lazuli, as bright blue as the sky (this in John's vision, Revelation 21). And though these nobles of Israel gazed upon God, he did not destroy them. In fact, they ate a covenant meal, eating and drinking in his presence!" (Exodus 24:8-10), but sadly Israelites were not content to be in presence of God, nor listen to Him personally, "When the people heard the thunder and the loud blast of the ram's horn, and when they saw the flashes of lightning and the smoke billowing from the mountain, they stood at a distance, trembling with fear. And they said to Moses, "You speak to us, and we will listen. But don't let God speak directly to us, or we will die!"Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning." As the people stood in the distance, Moses approached the dark cloud where God was." (Exodus 24:19-21). The Israelites decided they did not want to be close to God, and so they appointed Moses to be intermediary, a priest between them and God, but Moses tells them this was not plan, but that the Lord is testing them, and following this test, God reiterates His covenant of marriage to Israel, the wedding vows which are Ten Commandments themselves (Exodus 20:22-1-17) and emphasizes that He does not want His people having adultery (idolatry) with other gods; to cheat on Him, "Then the Lord said to Moses, “Tell the Israelites this: ‘You have seen for yourselves that I have spoken to you from heaven: Do not make any gods to be alongside me; do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gods of gold." (Exodus 20:22-23). The LORD does ask them to build an altar and offer sacrifices (Exodus 20:23-26) and I believe this was experiential and tactile task to give the Israelites something to do instead of build idols and be tempted to serve others gods that dwell in Canaan, where they shall conquer and receive the Promise Land by fighting the worst of pagans, pagans who had had sex with angels even (Genesis 6:4-6, Numbers 13:23, Numbers 14). A Pope of Middle Ages copied this idea of the Almighty and decided to help newly converted pagans by having festivals over their former pagan solstices, so this pope created Christmas for winter solstice, All Hollow's Eve and All Saint's Day for the Fall Solstice, Passion Week and Resurrection Day (Easter) for Spring Solstice, and other feasts for Summer solstice and more.

The God of Israel wanted to be close to his people, but they refused. The All Knowing God decided since they would not come to Him, He would come to them (John 1:10, John 16:28, Luke 2:1-20), and since the Israelites and all people for that manner could not cover their sins for all time, even with sacrifices (see Hebrews 9 and Hebrews 10), He also came to die for all our sins and make sure all separation between man and God was destroyed, "Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners--of whom I am the worst," (1 Timothy 1:15), and "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost." (Luke 19:10). Even Christ's name means that God has come to be with His people, "Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel, which means 'God with us.'" (Luke 19:10). The intent of God coming in body was to make both Jew and Gentile His people, to be close to them, and have relationship like he did with Adam.

The Temple building, and even Church building (see my post, Constantine the Antichrist) is a pagan idea. It separates people from God, by making Him appear distant and that only a select few, ecclesia or Levites can approach the LORD; when as I shared in Exodus he never intended this but Israelites begged for it, and Emmanuel who is Jesus means God with us, and He now lives in us (). In fact, a temple building is going to be used by the antichrist, false messiah, and HaSatan (devil)'s son, "Let no one deceive you in any way, for it will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness (the son of destruction) is revealed, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming." (2 Thessalonians 2:4-8). The Man of Lawlessness, the Antichrist, the False Messiah (Matthew 24:24, Mark 13:22) will use a temple, a building to proclaim himself god, when he really is the Beast of the Sea (Revelation 13), the son of Satan who will burn in Hell (Revelation 20:10) with the False Prophet/Beast (of the Earth), and Satan. The LORD said of building him a house, "Go and tell my servant David, 'This is what the LORD says: Are you the one to build me a house to dwell in? I have never lived in a house, from the day I brought the Israelites out of Egypt until this very day. I have always moved from one place to another with a tent and a Tabernacle as my dwelling have never asked them, "Why haven't you built me a beautiful cedar house?," (2 Samuel 7:5-7) and "However, the Most High does not live in houses made by human hands. The Prophet said, 'Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Could you build me a temple as good as that?' asks the LORD. 'Could you build me such a resting place? Has not my hand made all these things?' "You stubborn people! You are heathen at heart and deaf to the truth. Must you forever resist the Holy Spirit? That's what your ancestors did, and so do you!" (Acts 7:48-51).

The tragedy of God's people is that God keeps extending His hand to be close to them, and wants to be with them, and they reject Him:
The first rejection of God was in Eden through Adam and Eve choosing separation (Genesis 3),
The second rejection of God was at Sinai in Wilderness (Exodus 20 and 24) when God wanted to be close to his people Israel and they said no, and wanted Moses to an intermediary.
The third rejection of God was when God came in a body and ministered among His people and they killed Him (Acts 2:23, Acts 3:15),
and The fourth rejection of God is because many Jews and Gentiles refuse to believe in Jesus Christ, who is the God of Israel and the only way to the Father (Y'WH), to connection with Trinity/Elohim, closeness with God, and salvation from sin and hell (John 14:6). If you think about it from God's point of view, its very sad. He does everything to connect and be close, and we keep rejecting Him, even when we believe, we still put up walls both invisible and visible which are the temple building.

Interestingly, wood often a symbol of separation. It was tree of wood, Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil that separated man from God (Genesis 3), the Ark of the Covenant was made of Achaia wood and had wood poles that if touched killed people and separated them from God (Exodus 37:1, 2 Samuel 6:7), it was a Temple of  Solomon was made of stone and cedar wood that separated God and man (1 Kings 6:1-14), and it was a cross of wood, a tree that Jesus Christ died on to break this separation between God and Man (Acts 5:30, Galatians 3:13), and yet this cross still causes separation because many will not believe in Jesus Christ, "So when we preach that Christ was crucified, the Jews are offended and the Gentiles say it's all nonsense, But to those called by God to salvation, both Jews and Gentiles, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God," (1 Corinthians 1:23-24), (the rest of this point: 1 Corinthians 1:22-24, Phillippians 3:18, Galatians 6:14, Romans 1:16), and now churches who take God's hand and allow Him to dwell in them as the Trinity (Elohim) separate themselves from God with the wood of their temples, and church buildings (see my post on House Churches and The True Temple of God). Interestingly, the Commandment is "Make not an idol of wood, stone, gold, or silver," (Exodus 20:23, cross ref. Deuteronomy 29:17, Deuteronomy 4:28, Psalm 115:4) and yet that is what man keeps putting between himself and God, first with his choice in Eden, then with a Temple building in Jerusalem, and now again with churches after Emmanuel came in body. King David and Emperor Constantine both fell prey to the spirit that erects veils and wooden separations between God and man, this motivation the King of Jews (David and Solomon) and King of Romans and Greeks (Constantine) share in common with the Israelites at Sinai who would not approach God and be with him, and until God's People wake up and stop erecting wood, stone, gold and silver between them and the One True Triune God; there will be a emptiness in men's souls. The building and temple building is man trying to glorify himself, and his work of his hands. God has always resisted this, hence why the Temple is always destroyed, first by the King of Babylon, and then by the Emperor of Rome Titus. Then Jesus Christ destroyed spiritually, and physically with an earthquake destroying the metal golden veil in Temple (Matthew 27:51). Now God has raised the descendants of Babylonians and Romans to destroy the Third Temple, the Church buildings thru ISIS and others.

God keeps trying to get close to man, and man keeps putting a barrier between himself and God. Moses and the Messiah Jesus Christ met with each other, both taught that God wants to be close to His people, Moses in Exodus 20 and 24, and Jesus Christ throughout the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Jesus is God himself who came to end separation by dying for mankind's sins as prophesized by Prophet Isaiah (Isaiah 53, Full Tankh and Holy Bible) and to be close to man because God was now in a body and can even physically hug man with a body made of organic/dust matter. Jesus and Moses actually met each other at the Transfiguration, showing us that the plan of the Old Testament (Tankh) and New Testament (Covenant) come together which is close relationship with God and forgiveness of all sin, "And after six days Jesus took with him Peter and James, and John his brother, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. And he was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the sun, and his clothes became white as light. And behold, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, talking with him. And Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good that we are here. If you wish, I will make three tents here, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah.” He was still speaking when, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.” When the disciples heard this, they fell on their faces and were terrified. But Jesus came and touched them, saying, “Rise, and have no fear.” And when they lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only. And as they were coming down the mountain, Jesus commanded them, Tell no one the vision, until the Son of Man is raised from the dead.” 10 And the disciples asked him, “Then why do the scribes say that first Elijah must come?” 11 He answered, Elijah does come, and he will restore all things. 12 But I tell you that Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but did to him whatever they pleased. So also the Son of Man will certainly suffer at their hands.” 13 Then the disciples understood that he was speaking to them of John the Baptist." (Matthew 17:1-13). Notice that Jesus who is God is meeting with Moses, the Law and Word together, and notice Elijah who made war against idols, Baal is present too which alludes to Moses speaking on God's behalf about not having other gods, idols, which even a building is an idol of man, his pride, and yet St. Peter (Apostle Peter) interrupts this scene by trying to make tents (temples, buildings) and God interrupts this and stops Peter from doing this (see more details on House Churches in my post The True Temple of God). In addition, the concern the apostle's had about prophecy about Elijah being around the Messiah was fulfilled in two ways, Elijah actually appears here at Transfiguration and in spirit via John The Baptist.

This cycle keeps repeating. Man keeps building temples of cedar, and obstacles between God and himself (examples priests and leaders, when we are all priests in Christ 1 Peter 2:9-10). The only way to stop it is to surrender your life, will, and thoughts to God who is The Father, Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit, "For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it," (Matthew 16:25), "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven," (Matthew 6:9-10), and "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.  On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets." (Matthew 22:36-40).The reason is if you surrender your life to Jesus Christ who is God (Jehovah) and one with The Father (John 17, Colossians 1:18-22, Colossians 2:9), and Holy Spirit (John 17) which is Elohim (Elohim was always plural, until during the Jewish Wars that ended in 70 A.D. a Rabbi and Zealot changed it to the singular to stop squabbles over the Messiah). If you surrender your will and way you want to run your life, you have your life as Jesus says because Jesus Christ is Life (John 14:6), Jesus made all things (John 1:1-5, 10-15, Colossians 1:18-19) and made all things with Father (Y'WH) in the Beginning (Genesis 1:1-22). But to lose your life to gain it, to finally connect with God, and stop this cycle of rejecting God, you must abandon the good ideas, best intentions ("The best intentions pave the way to hell," St. Bernard of Clairvaux), and temple and church building programs. You must let the Lord God who is the Trinity of both Old Testament and New Testament to lead you and teach you (Matthew 23:8-10, John 14:26), and stop propping up the wood that separates that is made of cedar, and start erecting the cross of wood stained by blood of Christ for forgiveness, and declaring, "My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." (Galatians 2:20), NLT.)

NOTES:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
LORD or Lord in Hebrew means JEHOVAH (YEHOVAH), God of Israel. So when a Christian professes, "Confess Jesus Christ is Lord, and believe that God raised Him from dead and you shall be saved," (Romans 10:9) this means you are saying Jesus is God of Israel and that He who is One with Father (John 17) raised Himself and was raised by His Father, and Holy Spirit from the dead.

ELOHIM is the plural for God in the Old Testament. It is most starkly seen in Genesis 1:28 when God says, "Let us create Man in our own image," () and "And the LORD God said, "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever." (Genesis 3:22). Elohim was changed to singular by a Rabbi long after the Old Testament/Full Tankh was written, this was to hide that the Messiah, Jesus Christ is one of Elohim and the Messiah.

JESUS, IESOUS (Iesous), Jesu, Iesu, YESHUA, name of the Messiah, Savior, and God who came in human body who was born in Bethlehem, fled to Egypt, came back to Nazareth, and who proclaimed the Kingdom of God, confronted the hypocritical Pharisees and Sadducees, preached repentance, did miracles healing the lame, giving sight to blind, and raising the dead (). Died on the cross to save man from sin, His blood being the shedding as LAMB of GOD for the whole world and covering anyone who believes in Him (John 3:16-18), Rose from Dead after three days (), appeared to His apostles and disciples (), appeared to hundreds and more for forty days, ascended into heaven and sits at right hand of Y'WH, and is coming back (Revelation 1:7, Revelation 19, Revelation 20). Jesus is the visible God of the Invisible God (Colossians 1), in Him is the fullness of Godhead, Trinity, Elohim (Colossians 2:9, Colossians 1:, John 17, and more). Jesus is His Greco-Roman/Greek+Latin name, the Greek being Iesous, the Latin Iesu, and when put in English Iesu becomes Jesu, Iesous in English becomes Jesus, but both derive from Aramaic and Hebrew name Yeshua, although actually it probably derives from Jehovah, hence the Je- in Jesu, Jesus and the fact that we as Christians must confess, "Jesus is Lord (Jehovah in Hebrew and Aramaic)." (Romans 10:9). The Latin always replaces y with I, examples Jehovah (English) is really Iehovah in Latin, but in Hebrew it is Yehovah. Some argue you should call Jesus by the name Yeshua, which is a Hebrew equivlant to Jesus, but the truth is Jesus has been His name since the Gospels and Epistles were penned by the Holy Spirit (Rouch HaKodesh) and the Apostles, because Jesus comes from Greek Iesous, and Greek, Coine, is the language of New Testament. It is Jesus' name that all shall bow to, "Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death—even death on a cross. Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord (Jehovah, God of Israel in Hebrew), to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2:6-11).

MESSIAH or CHRIST, the anointed one. This is the one whom is suppose to sit on the Throne of King David, Son of Jesse and fortold in 2 Samuel 7. However, the prophets of the TANKH (full) and Old Testament of the Holy Bible clarify that the Messiah is also a Savior (Isaiah 53) and must die for sins of mankind; in order for this to happen however, the messiah cannot just be a man, for men have offered sacrifices for sin, and must keep doing so (see Hebrews 10) but if God dies for sins of man, it cancels out the debt forever, because God is eternal. The Messiah is the Bridegroom (John 2:1-12, and Jesus the Bridegroom: The Greatest Love Story Ever Told by Brant Pitre), the Bridegroom is universally known to Jews as God coming in body. The Messiah and Bridegroom by the time Jesus Christ who is both came, were separated in Judeo Theology because of confused and ignorant scholars in Maccabean Wars who wanted a man liberator, a political messiah to throw off the yoke of Rome rather than the Suffering Servant Savior who is both God and Messiah and will complete what the Maccabees and Jews today seek (see Revelation 19 thru Revelation 20, New Testament, Holy Bible). The Tankh (Full) and Holy Bible both attest that the Christ (Greek, Septuagint for Messiah, used by Jews in 33 A.D.) must be both God and Man, which is why the Apostle Paul says this in Romans, "Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God, which he promised beforehand through his prophets in the holy Scriptures,  concerning his Son, who was descended from David according to the flesh and was declared to be the Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness by his resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith for the sake of his name among all the nations, including you who are called to belong to Jesus Christ." (Romans 1:1-6).
Note: I will provide all the verse links that are not filled in, these () very soon.

TANKH, is the name of the Old Testament or Hebrew Bible that contains the Pentauch or Five Books of Moses, the Prophets, and the Writings.

MATTHEW, LUKE, JOHN, HEBREWS, 1 PETER, and etc, are the names of books in the New Testament/Brit Chadasha. Example, the Tankh/Old Testament called one of the books in it Judges, while in New Testament a book is called John, after who wrote it.

Recommendations for Jews:

Read The Gospel of John, known as simply John in the New Testament, start at John 1:1-12, and compare it Genesis 1 in your Tankh, and read "Jesus The Bridegroom: The Greatest Love Story Ever Told by Brant Pitre" that shows how even Talmud testifies that the Messiah must be the Bridegroom, and that Jesus Christ is the Bridegroom Messiah. I also recommend you get a full Tankh, since most Half-Tankhs are abridged, and important prophecies removed by a rabbi who wanted to stop fighting about who the Messiah is. The Full-Tankh has Isaiah 53, ever notice your Half-Tankh skips from Isaiah 52 to 54? Check to see if it has Isaiah 53. Pray to Lord Jesus Christ to remove the viel that blocks your mind, "But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away." (2 Corinthians 3:14), ask the Lord to tear it, "At that moment the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. The earth shook, rocks split apart." (Matthew 27:51).

Recommendations for Christians:

Read the last three chapters of Eusebius' Church History in the Penguin Edition which reveals how Constantine I The Great in 312-333 A.D. put the church in building and erecting the separation we all now experience, read my blog post "Constantine The Great Antichrist" if you want appetizer. I also recommend you read my posts, "360: The Return to Biblical Christianity," "The True Temple (House) of God," "Pagan Christianity," and "Eastern Orthodoxy and Roman Catholicism Examined." Use the search in top right corner of the page where you view my blogs and type in these titles, or you can time in Constantine or a word associated with the title to get every post that mentions the concepts and teachings on the subject.

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These w

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come and died for our sins an

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few people are endeavo
