As a follower of Christ I have felt compelled to cover many issues in the Church. I have with the Spirit's help sought to sort out the social issues of our times and seek the Savior's viewpoint through Scripture. There has been one topic that I have not touched upon in detail until now. One that polarizes and purges, that parts people only after race, religion, and politics, that is homosexuality. On both fronts the rhetoric has been raging, the LGBT silencing those who are staunchly traditionalist and the Radical Right pushing back with reason that is part Socrates and part Scripture.
What does God think of homosexuality? The answer is easily found in the Bible. But first I want to tell a story. I grew up among homosexuals on my court in California. My mother was once ministering to one named Julie. One day Julie asked my mother, "Why can't I join the Homosexual Church in San Francisco?" My Mother replied, "You know, I have a problem with gossip, I think I will start the church of the gossips." To which Julie responded, "I see your point." My mother was bringing up a point. Scripture says, "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders; nor thieves nor greedy nor drunkards nor slanders nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, your were sanctified, you were justified in the name of Lord Jesus Christ, and by the Spirit of our God." (1 Corinthians 6:9-11). The point in this list is that none of these type people with inherit the kingdom of God. Homosexuality is on the same list that drunkards and thieves are. If the Supreme Court ordered that it was acceptable to steal from others, get drunk and drive, or to murder, would people be fine with that? "Can man change the Maker's perspective? Can US judges tell the Judge of Judges what is acceptable and what is permissible?" (Anonymous).
Another important think to know about Homosexuals is most of them have father issues, this is what Prophet Malachi means when he says, "His preaching will turn the hearts of fathers to their children, and the hearts of children to their fathers. Otherwise I will come and strike the land with a curse." (Malachi 4:6). The curse is homosexuality. Many homosexauls were molested by a relative. It is this that changed their self outlook, this violation and abominable act altered their brain chemistry, they were not born with it; it was implanted by invidious means. Jesus said of anyone who harms children, "If anyone causes one of these little ones--those who believe in me--to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea," (Matthew 18:6), cross ref. Luke 17:2, Mark 9:42). The Lord Jesus takes harming children seriously.
Homosexuality is in the Holy Bible. Sodom and Gomorrah are prime examples. The Lord looking down on depravity of mankind in Sodom and Gomorrah destroyed them. (see all of Genesis 19). Only Lot and His Daughters survived the wrath of God. (Genesis 19:29). Some will argue that this is an Old Testament disposition of the Divine One, and since Christ Jesus came, everything has changed. Really, then why does the Apostle of Gentiles, called by Christ Jesus alone (Galatians 1:1), say, "
Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones.
In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty (AIDS?) for their perversion. Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done." (Romans 1:26). The Apostle Paul does not paint this practice of homosexuality in positive light, but rather that it has actually caused penalties or consequences in the bodies of those who practice this sexuality.

We are actually commanded under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit to not even eat with Homosexuals, but not even just them, all sexual sinners! That means people who practice pornography, people who are bisexuals (homosexual and heterosexual), people who practice bestiality (sex with animals), pedophiles (sex with children), polygamists (many wives and sex with multiple partners), bigamists, and those who participate in any sexual sin outside marriage between a man and woman. Here is the direct Bible verse, "But as it is, I wrote to you not to associate with anyone who is called a brother (in Christ) who is a sexual sinner, or covetous, or an idolater, or a slanderer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner. Don't even eat with such a person." (1 Corinthians 5:11). In that verse we see more than just sexual sinners are not to be associated with! It is on list of sins not to abide and tolerate.
Once when questioned about homosexuality, I responded with quip, "It takes two hetros(exuals) to make a homo(sexual)." (circa 2009). You cannot produce offspring with out sperm and an egg. Regardless of the rhetoric going on, even homosexual partners require the seed of the sexual gender they have chosen to reject. You cannot populate the human race, and keep it alive with homosexuals; an island of homosexuals will lead to extinction. The argument that people are "born" with homosexual tendencies is preposterous. It is like saying, I was born with the desire to murder, to steal, or slander. Well yes, you were conditioned by the culture you lived in and the cosmic (demonic) forces that filled you with such influences, but uptimately you made a choice and can blame no one but yourseld. Besides gender is pre-programmed, in the womb you were either male (XY cromsone) or female and thus born male or female.
Let me be clear. I do not hate homosexuals. As I mentioned before, I grew up with them. I hate the sin, not the sinner. Homosexuality is sin. It is against the design of God. For the Lord said, "Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it." (Genesis 1:28). This was the decree of God, and note that God made Adam (man) and Eve (woman), not Adam and Steve! There was a homosexual who rehabed and now has wife and children. One night while he was fornicating, he had erectile dysfunction and heard the voice of God, who said, "Look at your pluming." To which the man did. God said, "Do you think I made a mistake?"
Homosexuality has become a harbinger issue to hinder and harm the saints. Cake companies and HGTV brothers who are hold traditional views about marriage are attacked and their businesses ruined. They aren't allowed their different view. The Cake Company merely was holding to its conviction, and the two Christian brothers who were denied a tv show on HGTV never intended to bring up the issue on the show or deny a homosexual a renovation. These people and their businesses were assailed by radicals in LGBT movement and censored into submission. From Chick Fil A to Cakes, the issue over homosexuality has filled the headlines. And now with the Supreme Court Ruling it is going to rage on at higher level of boiling. Interestinglly, a Muslim working at Wal-Mart can refuse to check out acustomer if they have pork or alchole based on his or her islamic convictions; but a cake company is not granted the same rights. Similarly, in US a Christian who refuses to service a homosexual wedding is sued by LGBT party but Muslims in Saudi Arabia murdering homosexuals enmasse is ignored.
God says homosexuality is wrong. We are told to not eat or associate (be friends) with homosexuals and all sexual sinners. We can minister to them, pray for them, and if they choose to believe in Jesus and rehab, then they can join the flock. But right now the church is divided. One side believes we must adapt, accept the 'new normal' and welcome homosexuals into the hallways of our cathedrals and homes and even ordain them as priests. The other side says we must obey Scripture, and the Holy Spirit, which speaks against this sin. That we must obey Christ, not sear our consciences (1 Timothy 4:2) . The truth is that the latter group is right. For Peter and Apostles said, “We must obey God rather than men." (Acts 5:29)
It is a shame people cannot declare they are a traditionalist who believes in marriage between a man and woman. If you do you are consider a homophobe and hater. If you dare say that homosexuals cannot be leaders in a church, you are criticized, censored, and caste aside by the congregation. The LGBT movement wants everyone to accept homosexuality. They are not content to have you being tolerate or rather begrudgingly abide the behavior. They want everyone to accept homosexuality as a fact, as bon fide sexuality, just like schools have tried to make Darwin's Theory of Evolution fact, when it is not.
What follows is persecution. Christians who are traditionalists and hold to Christ's words and those of the Apostles are considered a threat. We are labeled fundementalist-extremists-unloving-haters. Many brothers and sisters in Christ will feel they need to hide their views on same sex marriage and homosexuality. Churches, Bible Stores, and Christian business will be forced by the law of land to provide jobs to same sex employees and homosexual applicants. The law of "discrimination" has be altered to include gays. Because this homosexual issue is falsely depicted as civil rights issue, when it is a moral one. In fact, Rome fell shortly after approving homosexuality in written law.
Homosexuality is a sin. It is not an issue of the past, or one that has changed in God's eyes. It is wrong, it defiles and distorts what man and woman were meant to be. It is a mutiny of the flesh and spirit, a defiance in face of the Divine Creator who decreed, "be fruitful and multiply, repopulate the earth." (Genesis 9:7). Homosexaulity is the ultimate rebellion conceived of long ago. It was destroyed with fire, and shall be again. I grow weary of dancing around this issue. Homosexuality is wrong, just like Abortion is wrong. Just like murder, fraud, stealing, and idol worshipping is wrong. Laws and corrupt Judges can not make it right. The Lord has spoken on the subject and His view is supreme. It didn't write it, I didn't define it, He did. So if you have an issue with this post, then talk to God, because it is based on His Word, not mine.
