Viva la France!

King Saint Louis IX (left) and Joan of Arc (right). Sacré-Cœur, Paris
St. Louis IX
France, the country known for love, wine, art, and exquisite cuisine is on the verge of civil war. Radical Islamists have seized parts of the country and our persecuting the native people. These persecutions range from racist comments to physical violence and harm. In response to this threat, organizations have been created to train young Frenchmen and Frenchwomen to be on the alert and to defend themselves. It seems that history is indeed repeating itself. For France long before it became the destination of decadence, was a pious land full of devout Christians. It was from the Rhineland, Languedoc, and eventually Paris that knights took up arms in the cause of holy war and became crusaders. It is St. Louis IX, King of France, who remains the most renowned and famous monarch to ever "take the cross," and go on crusade.

Now militant Muslims have invaded France, the former heartland of crusaders. Civil unrest threatens to tare the country apart as sectarianism and factionalism takes hold. Perhaps this is God's design to bring a country that has been godless back to God centered. Maybe, this invasion of extremist Muslims will reignite the former fervor and devotion to Christ that once was commonplace in the land of the Lily.

This is a time to pray for the French. To pray that the Lord will stir the hearts of the French people to turn back to Jesus and cease walking on the road of perdition. Too long have the descendants of the Franks been deceived by delights and diversions. It is time for the Oriflamme to be dusted off and for French natives to "take the cross" once more and bring not the infidel to the sword, but bring salvation to their country! Let them ring the bells of St. Denis Cathedral again with the resounding worship of the French faithful! Too long have the Franks been wandering the wilderness. Too long have they forgotten their God and chosen to worship the image of man and the fleeting desires of the flesh. Take up the Cross and the Oriflamme! Purge the sin and then if the Saracen seeks you harm, expel them from your lands! You cannot fight radical Islam without faith! Your war is against more than people, it is against principalities and powers in the unseen realm!

St. Joan of Arc
What France needs is not factionalism or another revolution, it needs faith! Faith in Jesus Christ which once made you great! Have you forgotten what the saints did for you? St. Jeanne D'Arc is the reason your blessed country exists! Had she not listened to the voices of God and the saints, you would be like Scotland and Ireland, under English rule! God saved you then! He can save you again! He can give you the wisdom to deal with this crisis if you will turn from your hedonistic ways and let your heart return to Christ! This is chance for France to become a proud nation again! To not be labeled an indifferent and lukewarm people who prefer to shirk from conflict. Once you were the most courageous people! You once accomplished the impossible! It can be again! You can move mountains, but only if you repent and return to Christ Jesus!

Remind the world of what made you a great people. Let us remember the chevalier side of your culture! Let the inspirations of old draw up again and the humanism that has allowed harm to come to your country be buried! It is time to be reborn! It is time for spiritual revival! Will you bare the banner of St. Louis and St. Joan of Arc again? Will you return to your God?

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. The...

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come...

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few peop...
