There is great merit in being an eloquent orator, articulate speaker, witty writer, and deep thinker. Do not take what is about to be shared in this post as an war on intellectualism or those who use their cleverness to open dialogues with unbelievers about Christ. The problem however, is that many believers come under the lie that to preach the Gospel, to reach the lost, and to be a servant of Christ requires seminary, understanding of deep theology, doxology, eschatology, anthropology, apologetics, and more. There is a prevailing attitude in churches that the requirements to be an evangelist or to preach the evangelion (Gospel) requires a college degree and an mind that can delve into mysteries of the Patristic Father, canons, church writings, and more. The truth however, may startle the seminarian and proud pastor. The Apostle Paul endeavored to be simple in speech, and sought to not be eloquent. Our thoughts can be dominated by negativity and disappointment at how " lawlessness will increase, and love of many will grow cold ." (Matthew 24:12). I have been an avid viewer of The Little House On The Prairie series. Charles Ingles imbodies the father we all want, Kathrine Ingles the mother many of us all had, and the entire town of Walnut Grove, a quiet little town where good Christian folk come together during hard times. There are many worthwhile and good lessons, even parables to be had in The Little House series, however, I was quite disturbed by one of first episodes which featured Charles Ingles working too hard, even on the Sabbath. Reverend Alden preaches to those in pews, mostly women and children, "I have noticed how your husbands are absent, I hope that you will remind them that we are all sinners, and we need to come to Church to be forgiven of those sins." What contrary statement to the Gospel! Not to mention Charles Ingles who didn't attend church due to his need to rest from hard work actually fulfills what Jesus said, " The Son of Man is even Lord over the Sabbath ," (Matthew 12:8) and ...

At the present moment many religions are metamorphosing into Universal religions. Rastafarians have begun to merge with the Mother Earth, Brotherhood of mankind philosophy. Luciferians can adapt their beliefs at any time, from theist to atheist, from worshipping devils to deities. Hindus do not seek converts, they simply want an already establish religion to attach itself as a sect of it, thus making it able to umbrella with all religions. The Pope and Patriarch of Istanbul are convening a council with 14 indepent churches for the largest meeting of Catholic and Orthodox since the 1054 A.D. Schism when the two churches split. There is a very cleaver coffee cup that reads, "Do not be afraid of trying new things, remember amateurs built the Ark, and professionals built the Titanic."
