Deus Meaning

In Latin many people say Deus or Deo for God of the Bible. They even say in the carol “in excelsis deo.” But deus is not the name of our God, it in fact derives from pagan god’s name, “Deus (Classical Latin: [ˈd̪e. ʊs], Ecclesiastical Latin: [ˈd̪ɛː. us]) is the Latin word for "god" or "deity". Latin deus and dīvus ("divine") are in turn descended from Proto-Indo-European *deiwos, "celestial" or "shining", from the same root as *Dyēus, the reconstructed chief god of the Proto-Indo-European pantheon.” Dyeus or Deus was a chief god of the Romans known as the father and paired with the earth mother goddess better known as Mother Earth. He is not the God of Abraham, Isaac, or Jacob, he is a false god, one of the Roman pantheon that the Roman Catholic Church uses in unison with our Lord God’s name! This is part of Romanism that corrupts, just as St. Xavier merged The God of the apostles with Shangdi of China, which is not the same god! It may even be that Roman Catholics worship dyeus under the name of Jesus just as Mexicans in Mexico place their gods like Tammuz inside the Maddona statues. This reminds me of The Real Jesus our Lord in Scripture telling us, “there will be many false christs and false prophets who will preform signs and wonders to deceive if possible the elect.” (Matthew 24:24).

We must be careful of letting these creeping paganisms distort our faith. You see why a Reformation had to transpire, The Roman Church is a crypt of false religions in the guise of Christianity. The truth is the Roman Church kept the pagan gods and beliefs alive and used Christian clothing, the Mother goddess became The Madonna, Mars became St. George, and so forth. Stay away from Romanism, it is a corrupt cult that deceives and leads people into hell. Our God’s name is The Lord Jesus, is Everlasting Father, is Holy Spirit, One God in Three Persons. He is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of Peter, John, and Paul. He is The I AM, not deus / dyeus. He is not Zeus or The Great Spirit, He is The Lord God, The only God, The Trinity, The Supreme Creator of Heaven and Earth.

I believe Constantine The Great purposely tried to paganize Christianity, mixing dyeus and the sun god sol invictus into Jesus, hence the halo or nimbus of the sun added to Jesus art like the one in Hagie Sophia and that in doctrine of Constantine’s churches (Eastern Orthodoxy and Roman Catholicism) Jesus is more like Zeus and Dyeus, inclined toward distance, and wrath rather than the True God of Love He really is as described in Scripture! (1 John 4:7-21). There is a reason God is not called deus in our bibles, the Reformers and translators no doubt knew the pagan pantheon, and the meaning behind dyeus from which deus comes.

We must stand with The Scriptures and beware of all spiritual harlotries that come from all the cults on Rome posing as churches.  Amen.

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come...

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few peop...

Concerns About The Jerusalem Cross

When you travel to Jerusalem, it is the custom of a pilgrim to by a Jerusalem Cross as souvenir. Its suppose to represent Jerusalem, and Christianity there. Even Protestant brothers and sisters have adopted the Jerusalem Cross symbol as a missionary symbol, the four extra crosses being to four corners of the world, “And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” (Matthew 24:31). The problem is that the Jerusalem Cross has a very dark history spiritually. Yes it was used like French Cross as a counter to Nazi swastika during the 1940’s which is ironic since one variant of Cross Potent which is in the Jerusalem Cross was a swastika called the grammadion which was a talisman for luck and good fortune: My greater concern is the crusader theology tied to the Jerusalem Cross. The Jerusalem Cross as we know it was created when the Kingdom of Jerusalem was formed during The Fi...
