The Organic phase has taken its toll. For almost ten years, people have been told how evil preservatives are, and how holy the Organic, GMO free food is. Major companies have bitten into the Organic Apple, the latest being Oscar Meyer Hot Dogs. The Organic machine at a glance seems to be great for mankind. We get fresh vegetables, fresh meats, and no color dyes or pesticides or preservatives to cause our allergies. Or so it seems. The statistics of people with allergies, even those who never had any have tripled since Organic foods were introduced into the market. Zyrtec, and other prescription drugs are going like clockwork on commercials. Everyone is blaming the persvatives and pesticides in the foods, and yet for over fifty plus years we never heard the Silent Generation or the Baby Boomers complain about their Coke Cola or any of preservatives in their foods, there was no allergy epidemic then. So could it be other way around, that the Organic Food mania is actually the root cause of our allergies? Well think about it, the preservatives, antivirals, and pesticides that were in our foods actually combated disease; it ensured the food both kept a long shelf life and was safe to eat (hence preservative, to preserve, keep it good for longer). Is it possible the Organic craze is the cause of health problems not the solution? That when we ate preservative foods we didn't get sick easily or battle allergies and insomnia?
If the Organic trend that is taken the US by storm continues it will not only effect our health. But our pocket book too. Here is the problem, remove pesticides from the food and the crops go bad, that means the farmers have to work harder, means they pay more in sweat and feed (seeds and feed for animals), so to cope they raise their prices. Worse, because the food has not preservative it drops from say 2-3 month shelf life to a 2-3 day or one week shelf life. That means to keep the stores stocked with fresh foods, the farmers have to tile the land (work it harder) and produce more and more food, which means it costs them more, which means they have to charge more to companies who distribute it, which means those companies charge the groceries more which means it costs the consumer more, and all of them get taxed heavily, so they charge even more. Thus the organic trend then becomes an Omega, and end to your saving account because to keep the shelves supplied everyone has to work harder and pay more to keep the whole thing going, when before the preservatives allowed the farmers some rest, the land some rest, and all companies could compete and lower prices. Then there is transport, when the food has preservatives, it didn't matter if truck got from say California to Washington state on time, the shelf life is months, so no hurry, but if the shelf life is weeks, and say it takes a trucker 3 days (conservative estimate, 6 days is the normal amount of time to cross country), the Organic food is already spoiling, and by time it gets on shelf it has two days or less left before its no good! So you see the problem, no preservatives means everyone, farmer, trucker, and consumer has to work harder, use it faster before it goes bad, and pay more for it, but when we had preservatives it kept the food so long that there was no rat race to get cheese to us on time.
The third problem is taste. For most of our lives (except Generation Z), we all had foods with preservatives. We adapted to preservatives because our parents and their parents had gotten use to them, and so we have what is called an immunity. This happens in God's creation, that man and all life can adapt to harsh conditions to survive. This Adaptation explains why in the deep below of the sea, there are fish born without eyes, they adapted because there is no need for sight in the dark. As for taste, the preservatives not only kept our food from rotting, but they kept the flavor, juices, and taste longer; so when you ate that piece of fruit or chicken it tasted just as good as when it was packaged, but now most of Organic food is bland or less savory because there is nothing in it to keep the flavors preserved (preservatives, you see?).
This whole Organic movement is Communist. In the Solviet Union they refused to use preservatives in their food and the result was all food was rotting, and no one bothered to till fields as Serfs because you couldn't make any money now. The farmers are facing the same problem, their land is taxed for Green House Gases, water tax, and more; and they can hardly make ends meat. In fact, only 2% of the US Population is farmers feeding the 98%! What happens if the farmers decide like serfs of Russia to privatized (sell on black market) and refuse to keep the charade going of Organic? Worse, we probably will happen is we will end up like Africa, because all crops in Africa are Organic and they are starving, just look 2 Million Africans who starving that popped up in the news. They would love to inject their food with preservatives to keep their foods alive to feed their families!
The Coming Food Crisis is already upon us. The Prophet Ezekiel who saw into the End of Days via the Lord God said this, "'They will fling their silver into the streets and their gold will become an abhorrent thing; their silver and their gold will not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD. They cannot satisfy their appetite nor can they fill their stomachs, for their iniquity has become an occasion of stumbling." (Ezekiel 7:19). The Prophet Zephaniah (hardly hear him quoted huh) says this, "Neither their silver nor their gold Will be able to deliver them On the day of the LORD'S wrath; And all the earth will be devoured In the fire of His jealousy, For He will make a complete end, Indeed a terrifying one, Of all the inhabitants of the earth." (Zephaniah 1:18, cross ref 1 Peter 3 and Revelation 8, 9, 19:11-16, 21:1-4). All this gold and stocks, and bonds will not help anyone when the food crisis hits, nor on Day of Judgement. One might have to ponder the words of Jesus Christ, that He will sustain us especially when the Beast (Revelation 13:7-18) takes over, "For My flesh is real food, and My blood is real drink." (John 6:55). Aside from preparing for the food crisis with gardens and some storage, perhaps the Lord Jesus will keep us alive supernaturally in these Last Times, and give us Manna from Heaven as He did the Israelites (John 6:32). The point is that this Organic trend isn't to our benefit. The claims they are purifying the food by removing GMOs, and preservatives, and pesticides is a sham. It is after they removed these things everyone in America became chronically allegoric to everything, and can hardly keep certain foods down, when they were fine all their lives. I am sorry, but I suspect I am going to be in total minority on the Organic movement, but consider what I have presented. In the very least, your money and pocket book is going to suffer.
