God's Books

In heaven there are many books that God has. There is the Lamb's book of Life, "And into the city will be brought the glory and honor of the nations, Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life," (Revelation 21:27), which contains every person saved and who will be in heaven and the New Jerusalem. There is Books of Judgement, "And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books." (Revelation 20:12).

(). But there are other books that should make us pause at how much God loves us. We are told by King David that God keeps a book of every tear we shed, "You keep track of all my sorrows, You have collected all my tears in your bottle, You have recorded each one in your book." (Pslam 56:8). Think about it, every tear we have shed from pain inflicted emotionally, physically, or other is contained in a book that God keeps track of! One day all tears will fade away, "" () and this book won't record anymore tears, but the thought that God cares that much about us, that every sorrow and tear is listed in his book makes think, wow, what a loving God we serve (1 John 4:8).

I imagine there are other books to, for Jesus who is God told us, "And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered." (Matthew 10:30). Every hair you've shaved, every single one cut at Supercuts over your life time, and every time barber removed some hair is recorded and numbered by God. Think of how many?! Just yours alone, not to mention He records every Christian's hair numbers! This should invoke in us a great endearment, that while we try to preserve memories with photos, and memorabilia, God keeps everything we've done in his books. The glorious moments of your life to the most mundane he kept track. That moment of genius no one saw, God has it written down. That moment when you sinned, He has blotted out. Every tooth you have lost, every thought you have had, every word you have spoken is recorded (Matthew 12:36). Its not because God wants to use them against us in trial, but He so loves us (John 3:16) that like a parent who keeps a baby book with the first footprint, hair cut, and so forth, God our Father does the same, only because He's God he can snapshot everything for every Christian.

We need to understand we have loving God, The Trinity who keeps all the precious mementos and memories of our lives like a Father and Mother, and beyond that He died for us on cross and rose from dead to taste death for us (Hebrews 2:9). Just as loving Father risks his life for his child, so The Father who is One with Jesus (John 10:30, John 17;20-23, Colossians 1:19,  Colossians 2:9) laided down His life for us on the cross to save us from the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:15) and the power of sin (Romans 6:1-11). The Trinity loves us dearly, and He keeps every tear, hair, sorrow, and moment of our lives in his books. He is a God of love (1 John 4:8, John 3:16) who loves every part of us, even when we were sinners he showed us love (Romans 5:8). So when the devil tries to make God looked like a mean ogre and harsh taskmasters, remind of him of this, "God keeps my sorrows, tears, hairs, and my name in His books, so shut up devil! God is my parent and my Savior, he loves me, and is gentle and kind!" Do not let the enemy warp your perception of God. Remember how much you love your children, God loves you as His children (Romans 8:17). If you cannot relate to that, then think of this way, what do you love or have deep passion for, is it hobby or even pleasure, God loves you as strongly as you love that thing and more. So turn to Him and make Jesus Christ your Savior by confessing Him and believing in Him, "If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved." (Romans 10:9-10). If you do this, you are written in the best book of all, the Lamb's Book of Life! The Book of Salvation, that confirms on Judgement Day you are a child of God. Amen.

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These w

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come and died for our sins an

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few people are endeavo
