The Refutation of Reincarnation

One of the quickest refutations of Reincarnation is the belief in utopia. If people kept coming back, and knowing they've come back as Reincarnation teaches in Buddhism and New Age, then our society and the world would be more perfect: less crime, more loving people, more respect, and etc.; but it is the opposite, our world is in entropy and falling into what the Holy Bible says, "And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold," (Matthew 24:12), and, "You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!." (2 Timothy 3:1-5). Reincarnation is like Roman Catholic penance and Sacraments on steroids, and is direct enemy of Salvation, for we believe Jesus came in One Incarnation and died for our sins once for all time (1 John 1:1-15, 1 Peter 3:18, Romans 6:10). He is not coming back to bear sin, but to bring us the fullness of salvation (Hebrews 9:28). Reincarnation is the evil one's great ruse, it makes people pin hopes on getting more lives like in video game, more chances to get it right, but the Truth is, "And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment'." (Hebrews 9:27 ESV).

I like to quote Jack Nicholson on this subject, "They've got reincarnation going for them, whatever that is. Morgan Freeman: Buddhists believe you keep coming back, and you go up or down depend on your choices. Nicholson, that's where they lose me, what does a snail have to do to go up in chain, lay down a perfect trail of slime?" (The Bucket List, 2007). My sentiments exactly Mr. Nicholson. The idea that a snail or ant, or dumb creature like a cow could merit its way to better creation is absurd, firstly, such simple creatures would never know they are doing enough good or bad. Animals aren't stupid, but they don't have a sense of morality, good and evil as we Adam's children do, thanks to the Fall (Genesis 3:1-24). Animals are manipulated by good and evil choices by us and the fallen world, in fact they wait for us Christians to reveal ourselves and for their salvation by the Creator Jesus, "19 For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are. Against its will, all creation was subjected to God’s curse. But with eager hope, the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God’s children in glorious freedom from death and decay. 22 For we know that all creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. And we believers also groan, even though we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, for we long for our bodies to be released from sin and suffering." (Romans 8:19-23). A dog or cat does not reason if eating your pet bird is right or wrong, if the act of eating the bird makes the animal then next time become an ant or snail, then this cycle would be endless, it thus would take people to prevent the cycle, by keeping the dog and cat away from the bird, but then the dog or cat has not merited this itself, and thus the advancement riencarnationists believe in cannot happen, and if we do intervene we interrupt the food chain, bird populations would be out of control if we stop every cat, fish would overpopulate if we stop every shark, and so on and so on, thus Reincarnation collapses because it goes against the laws of this world: entropy (the world is not getting better, no lower creations are wanting to do more good and become enlightened), animals and other creation cannot reason to do right or wrong, in fact they are innocent because they never sinned, it was Man who sinned (Genesis 3:1-24) and the rest of creation got to join the ride of falling (Romans), but no bird, cat, dog, or snail choose to sin, yet they subjected to violence, disease, and sinful attacks by sadists, or used to keep humans alive in case of chickens and cows. If the Riencarnationists were right, then food chain stops and everyone and all animals die! For if cats stop eating birds or other small animals, then they die, and besides the absurdity is that even the worms, birds, and cats are people or souls, then every soul is eating souls?! It falls apart if you think with your head.

Reincarnation is also so inhumane, so a chicken or snail gets to suffer over and over, getting killed and eaten time after time, or worse become a lesser piece of food? What a horror story! That is why it can't be true. God knows every sparrow (Matthew 10:29) and commands the fish in sea (Luke 5:4-8, Matthew 17:27), each is unique. Well Riencarnationists say Deja vu is proof, actually this phenomenon is a) our mental processes either experiencing a similar situation, like the same conversation and feelings watching a movie, or b) it is when our brains go faster than our experience, thus making us feel the sensation like it had happened, or c) it could be fulfillment of a dream, vision, or prophecy you received and experienced via God; you had a dream about an experience like playing baseball or etc and then it happens (Acts 2:17, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11). We do carry genes in us from our ancestors, and that explains why there are similarities across generations, but its incomplete and fractured, mix grandpa with grandson's D.N.A. in the helix and you get a completely new person, if Grandpa was an administrative type (choleric) but had no emotions like melancholy, but his Son had melancholy, and that mixes into the grandson he could be administrative and melancholy, having a blend, which is new, because never have two gifts been together in his linage, but even more so he may want to be painter when no one in his line back to Adam was a painter, or a job that never existed until the 21 Century. When someone looks like or acts like an ancestor it is not reincarnation, it is D.N.A., it is that characteristics and gifts Christ hand picked, passed on to the next generation for His purposes (John 1:3, Colossians 1:16, Jeremiah 1:5, Psalm 139:13).

Reincarnation also falls apart on this front, if people keep coming back over and over, then there are hardly be any unique people, theoretically there would be small pool of people who keep being the next generation, and yet different generations are nothing alike, take for instance the WWII generation they wanted to fight for freedom and risked their lives willingly, the Millennials in contrast don't want to experience any displeasure, and will not fight for freedom, they want it handed to them on silver platter. How are those generations anything a like? Reincarnation is faulty idea because it robs people of being individually designed in image of God (Genesis 1:27), and it doesn't jive well with history, certainly history repeats itself, but if Reincarnation were true.. history would not keep shifting between Capitalism and Communism, Empire and Democracy, love and fear, knowledge and ignorance; in theory it would lead to one result like love and stay there (linear), which it hasn't, the chaos and changes of this world refute reincarnation, and prove the Holy Bible is true, things are getting worse, people are behaving differently or following a new pattern compared to old one. Well the counter argument would be that the shifts are because not all Riencarnationists are behaving and moving up, uh.. what soul would want to stay a snail or keep going down from Man to monkey and less enlightened beings? I also refer to earlier argument, animals can't reason or merit anything, they didn't choose to sin, they are influenced by sin, you cannot expect a cat to act like a Disney character and decide in its heart if it will or will not eat a bird, it acts on instinct when hungry, and thus will eat bird every time. But is not counter argument to be Vegan, well sure a person can choose to be Vegan, but not Lions, Tigers, Bears, Sharks, and etc; they are predators who drink blood and eat meat, to stop them you would have to kill them all, which is killing souls according to Reincarnation, see how absurd Reincarnation is?!

The Truth is we have one life on this fallen planet to live, and only hope of life after death in paradise is through believing Jesus Christ is the Only Way to heaven (John 14:6), That Jesus Christ's Blood covers our sins, and that we believe in Jesus and will have everlasting and eternal life (John 6:40, John 3:16) both spiritually and then physically when Christ gives us new bodies (2 Corinthians 5:1-11, Revelation 21:1-4). Believe the Holy Bible, Old and New Testaments. It has never been wrong, every prophet has been exact, every thing it says is God breathed (2 Timothy 3:16). Don't believe the lie of the great liar (John 8:44) who teaches reincarnation to deceive people and make them think they can do what they want and get to respawn again, nope, "It is appointed for a person to die once and then the judgement." (Hebrews 9:27). If a person does not believe in Jesus they will face the Great and Terrible Judgement (Joel 2:31, Revelation 19;15). If a person refuses to love Jesus back and believe in Him (John 6:40, Romans 10:9-10), they will not go to paradise (Revelation 21:1-43) but instead they will go to the Inferno (hell fire never ending pain and suffering from your worst nightmares, "It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell, where "'the worms that eat them do not die, and the fire is not quenched.'" (Mark 9:47-48). Jesus will judge you wither it is if you should die now or He returns (1 Thessalonians 4:16). Do not wait, you have the chance now to confess Jesus as Lord (God) and believe in your heart God raised Him from dead (Romans 10:9). You can abide and live forever in God's love (1 John 4:8, John 17:20-23) that He died for you when you were sinner (Romans 5:8) and wants yo uto be with Him (desires all be saved), but if you reject him on this earth, and die, that's it, you shall be judged and join the devils in the fire (Revelation 21:8, Revelation 20:10). Don't get caught up in the lies of Buddhists New Ageists, and other Riencarnationists who risk their only chance at salvation and true enlightenment, believing in Jesus Christ according to Scriptures (Holy Bible), for in Jesus is all wisdom and knowledge (enlightenment)." (Colossians 2:2-3). If only Buddhists and other New Ageists turned from their false path, and instead turned the Narrow Way that is Jesus Christ and believed Christianity and in Christ according to Holy Scriptures, then they would be saved through faith in Christ Jesus, and have access to creator of all things, including enlightment (John 1:3, Colossians 1:16) and who is the source of all wisdom and truth (John 14:6, Colossians 2:2-3). Turn to Jesus Christ, become a Christian and follow the Only True God and Way! If you are already a brother and sister in Christ, then use these arguments to refute your friends who believe Reincarnation.

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. The...

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come...

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few peop...
