Position versus Purpose

There are two systems that God created. One is the system of position, and the other is the system of purpose. When the Trinity created the angels, He gave them certain positions and posts, these positions come with titles and tasks specific to each angel and their rank. The angels thrived on this system and Scripture gives us a glimpse into many of different positions, there are the messengers like Gabriel, "And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings," (Luke 1:19), there are warriors, "The shield of his mighty men is made red, The valiant men are in scarlet; The chariots are fire of steel in the day of his preparation, And the cypress spears are made to quiver," (Nahum 2:3), there are Archangels like Michael, Raphael, and Uriel, "And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels," (Revelation 12:7),
there are the Seraphim, "Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying," (Isaiah 6:2), there are very unusual Cherubim that guard the Lord when he comes, "Each of the cherubim had four faces: One face was that of a cherub (Ox), the second the face of a human being, the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle," (Ezekiel 10:14), and finally the highest position was the Cherub that Covereth who was Lucifer before he chose to fall, "Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee." (Ezekiel 28:14-15).

Within these different ranks each angel has a position of importance, and they find full satisfication and fulfillment in their position. The only ones to not be satisfied were Satan and one third of angels that decided to rebel, wage war in heaven (Revelation 12:7-12), and fall to earth (Genesis 6:2-5). The Apostles and prophets speak of these fallen saying, "For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast [them] down to hell, and delivered [them] into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment," (2 Peter 2:4) and "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him." (Revelation 12:9). The Apostle Paul warns us that we are at war against these fallen angels, powers, demons, and devils, "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places." (Ephesians 6:12). Despite the devil's fall, he still seeks position, in fact he fell because he tried to unseat the Most High God, "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation (Mount Zaphon), in the sides of the north:  I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit." (Isaiah 14:12-14). Satan (Lucifer, the devil) sought to unseat his Creator, and his ambition for the Most High position caste him down to earth and inevitably he and fallen will burn in hell, "Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels," (Matthew 25:41) and "And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever." (Revelation 20:10).

Satan was not satisfied. He still seeks the top seat, the throne of God, wars for it, and will war for it with his unholy trinity (Revelation 13, unlucky number thirteen!). The devil not content in his position, tempted man with same false belief, "For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." (Genesis 3:5). This was the same lie Lucifer chased on his own (Isaiah 14:14). The devil since his downfall has created a world system of position, one that makes man strive ambition and position. But this is not the system God intended for us to live under, no, we were meant for the system of purpose. What purpose? To be God's family and be loved, "So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them," (Genesis 1:27) and he blessed these new beings made in his image, "God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground." (Genesis 1:25). We were suppose to love God and love one another (Luke 10:27), and in love make more beings to love (Genesis 1:25), and finally subdue, rule, and reign over the Earth. Isn't that last command position, indeed, Man was Ruler of Kavod, King of Earth and His Wife Queen until they gave it up for the Forbidden Fruit. This rule of subduing however was unlike the angels who are given position and tasks, instead Man gave tasks to creation and was ruler, while angels are ruled. In this way man was already like God, having ownership, dominion, and authority over creation. But a major axis of this purpose was love, to be fruitful and keep bearing images of God called children and fill the earth; this procreation and sexual abundance was pure and perfect because at the time there was no sin.

Man and Woman's purpose was to be wed to one another, have lots of sex (procreate), and subdue and rule all the earth. The devil's deception actually lowered man to a position based life, instead of being Cesar, man became a centurion, instead of King, a knight, and instead of Soveriegn a poor servant. Since the fall of Adam and Eve, mankind has been bound in a system of position, when we are born with a purpose which are two strong drives, sex and subdue, we want to have families and to fashion an empire wither it is by sword, by the pen, fabric, retail, and so on. These desires are in every person, but they manifest uniquely according to God's Will for our lives. Satan doesn't want us to be purpose lead, he wants us position bound so he can rule and be the "prince of this world," but he is defeated, "I go to the Father and you no longer see Me. and about judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned." (John 16:11). Now when Jesus Christ died on the cross, he broke the power of the devil, "" and took back the keyes of death and hades (Revelation 1:18). Because Jesus Christ was God (Colossians 2:9) and a Perfect Man (Hebrews) he was able to be the Second Adam who could take back the Kavod, rule of the Earth and give it back to Man by living in those men and women who believe in Him (Galatians 2:20, 1 Corinthians 3:16). In addition to the rule of the earth (subdue) we have been given supernatural power of the angels, "Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life!" (1 Corinthians 6:3) and "Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." (Matthew 18:18).

Jesus Christ bought back our purpose with interest, he gave us not just the Kavod back, the rule of Earth, he gave us through Him who is ruler of Heaven and Earth (Earth is footstool, Matthew 5:35) dominion over demons and angels! We thus now have authority in heaven and Earth, because Christ who lives in us (Galatians 2:20, 2 Corinthians 3:5) also is seated in heaven (Ephesians 2:6), will reign for thousand years (Revelation 20:4-6), and will be center of New Jerusalem (Revelation 21:22). Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ not only restored our brith right, he gave us power over the supernatural, thus stripping Satan of his power, and we are even prfomised, "To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne." (Revelation 3:21). Woah! What Satan wanted, the Throne, we will get to sit with God on! That's how much our Heavenly Father, Loving Savior, and Comforting Holy Spirit loves us! The love of God is our badge of honor, "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us," (Romans 5:8) and "God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, and whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16).

Now a major question may baffle some skeptics, why did God forgive man and condemns the fallen angels? Both the angels and man fell and rebelled. What is the difference? I theologizing have come to this conclusion, the reason Lucifer and the angels cannot be forgiven is they deliberately rebelled against God having lived in His presence. They conceived of it, they chose and invented their insurrection against the Alpha and Omega. Adam and Eve in contrast were tempted, deceived, and mislead; they did not come up with plan to disobey and rebel against their Creator, they were deceived by the devil (serpent, seraph in Hebrew, seraphim is angel, so it is likely he was in his angel of light state see) and it says in Genesis 6 and the Book of Enoch that people knew the sons of God, the angels were to test and teach man God's ways, and so it is conceivable that Adam and Eve thought Satan was seraph that had come to instruct them in God's ways, and how wrong they were, they knew not of a war in heaven that had happened. So Satan and his angels were seditious by free choice, and even invented, sought to create rebellion against the Most High, while Adam and Eve were deceived into the rebellion, which bears a different motive of the heart, "All a man's ways seem right to him, but the LORD evaluates the motives." (Proverbs 21:2). The devil and fallen angels and demons are beyond redemption, they are judged already, "For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them in chains of darkness to be held for judgment.." (2 Peter 2:4).

Jesus Christ saved us and sought to teach us the Kingdom way and purpose which is at odds with the word's system (Prince of the world, he owns it). Jesus told us, "the greatest is the least, he who is first will be last, and last will be first," (Matthew 19:30), "Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant," (Matthew 20:25), "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal," (Matthew 6:19-20), and "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God." (Matthew 5:3,5,8). Christ was showing us how radically different the Kingdom of God, the system of Purpose is from the system of position. Purpose has you focused on God and others, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself," (Luke 10:27). while position has you focused on yourself, particularly advancing your position and person in life, oppose to being "The greatest among you must be a servant." (Matthew 23:11, NLT). Christ really shakes up our worldly position when he says, "If anyone wants to be my disciple, he must deny himself (deny position), pick up his cross (suffer), and follow me," (Matthew 16:24) and "For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it," (Matthew 16:25) and "If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you," (John 15:19), and "You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved." (Matthew 10:22). The Kingdom of Purpose is opposite to the World of Position. God's purpose and plan for you will fill you with a fullness, joy, and completeness, while Satan's position and plan will fill you with fear, jealousy, and covetousness. This is why so many in this world find their hearts are restless, because the only rest lies in Jesus Christ (Matthew 11:28-30), who can give you purpose.

Here is the fascinating thing, the devil who was Lucifer wanted to be ruler, to be God, and yet he was made for position, he cannot function in a administrator purpose. Lucifer wanted and wants what he can never be, not just because God the Trinity cannot be replaced, but because Lucifer was created for position and so cannot govern as God does, and tell those with position how to function. Thus the devil chased and sought what he cannot even be, purpose, and he lead Adam and Eve to chase what they can never be, called position.

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come and died for our sins an

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These w

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few people are endeavo
