The Mark of Beast is 6:66

I have discussed the Mark of Beast in previous posts. There is theory of a chip, there is possibility that it is Pat Roberson's analysis, "Mark on forehead and hand, means people with mindset and actions they do in name of the beast." But upon a recent Lectio Divina, I realized that the Mark of Beast is clearly spelled out in the Bible. The surprise is that it is John 6:66, and triple six has been the number of the Beast's name for some time. The Gospel says, "From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him." (John 6:66). Jesus has just shared with a crowd that to have eternal life, "You must eat my body and drink my blood to have eternal life." (John 6:54). Our Lord and Savior is pointing to Himself as the door (John 10:9) to heaven, that through Him all men and women shall be saved (John 3:16).

The reaction of the multitiudes in John 6, in verse 66 is antichrist and feeds an antichrist spirit. They rejected Christ Jesus' message of salvation (the gospel), rejected Him (from whom salvation is attained), and left Him to never return. This is the Mark of the Beast, it is to not accept the message (John 3:16), to turn from Christ, and to not follow him. Jesus said of those who do not believe, "Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son." (John 3:18), and "Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned." (Mark 16:16). Interesting that the  It is ironic that the Gospel of Mark gives readers a clue into the Mark of the Beast which is anyone who does not believe and will not be baptized.

The sign of antichrist is on those who have made an antichrist choice and lifestyle. It is not going to be some implant you accidently get at the doctor, or a scanner with barecode. It is simply the antigospel, and spirit of antichrist when people reject the Truth that Jesus Christ came to die for our sins and saved us from eternal damnation. The Mark is choosing damnation, rather than "deny yourself, pick up your cross, and follow me." (Matthew 16:24). The number of the Man of Sin's name is John 6:66, it is when people deliberately reject Jesus and will not follow Him.

Do not become one of those in John 6:66. Instead be the one who will, "deny yourself, pick up your cross, and follow Jesus," and "I have fought the good fight, ran the race, and kept the faith." (2 Timothy 4:7). Do not take the Mark of Beast, but instead bear the marks of Christ Jesus, "From now on, let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus." (Galatians 6:17). Refuse to be puppet of the Lawless One, and instead "Love the Lord Your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself." (Luke 10:27).

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come...

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few peop...

Concerns About The Jerusalem Cross

When you travel to Jerusalem, it is the custom of a pilgrim to by a Jerusalem Cross as souvenir. Its suppose to represent Jerusalem, and Christianity there. Even Protestant brothers and sisters have adopted the Jerusalem Cross symbol as a missionary symbol, the four extra crosses being to four corners of the world, “And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” (Matthew 24:31). The problem is that the Jerusalem Cross has a very dark history spiritually. Yes it was used like French Cross as a counter to Nazi swastika during the 1940’s which is ironic since one variant of Cross Potent which is in the Jerusalem Cross was a swastika called the grammadion which was a talisman for luck and good fortune: My greater concern is the crusader theology tied to the Jerusalem Cross. The Jerusalem Cross as we know it was created when the Kingdom of Jerusalem was formed during The Fi...
