You Need Jesus

We often think of Jesus' most difficult moments being His Passion. The Lord's torture and death on the cross is seen rightfully as His hardest moments. When God was put under such immense pressure and pain. But there is another part of the Almighty suffering we often omit. A more subtle, but not less striking part of what He had to endure.

Many people today say, "What is with God? Why can't he understand my sin is a mistake, why would can't he just deal with it? Why isn't he understanding." Such arrogance. Jesus paid for our sins on the cross (Romans 3:24), but there is detail we miss. God couldn't live in sin. Sin is a cancer, a plague, and antithesis of God Himself. It is the manifest evil that cannot live in union with the Almighty. It is believed to have existed before the Garden of Eden, because Satan and one third of the angels fell. (Revelation 12:4).

For God sin is like a dog that always bites you make you bleed, a fire that burns you every time you try to use it to cook. Sin is not more powerful, but rather something God cannot cohabitate with. In fact, when He came in the flesh, Jesus, God Incarnate, had a body that was predisposed to sin. He had it pulling at Him, though He never sinned. (Hebrews 4:15). In fact, I believe Jesus went off alone to pray so much because it was agonizing to be amongst sinners. Their nature was anti-God and anti-Kingdom of Heaven. It must have been like being in a garbage dump. While yes Jesus loved everyone, and through His death wiped all who believe clean of the strain of sin and makes it now so sin cannot come between the Creator and Creation; I believe that until that point on the cross, it was hard for God to be around man.

Jesus was dying to get to cross and "finish" it so that He and His beloved people; that is all who believe, can be in union without the separating factor that is sin. In fact, Sin and Hell both translate as separation. The decision that Adam and Eve made was so anti-Christ it made it difficult for God to be around people anymore. That is why priests and prophets who were close to God had to make sacrifices and live as purely as possible; to make them more tolerable, but still not tolerable enough to be around. IT says in Exodus, that for God to come down the people had to, "purify themselves, fast, and abstain from sexual relations." (Exodus 19:10-15).

Thankfully, there is no separation. Jesus died on the cross once and for all sin, and if we believe in Him there is nothing that can separate us from God anymore. The Apostle Paul puts it best in his letter to the Romans:

"What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?  Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself. Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.
Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.  No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.  No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:31-39)

Choose today to no longer be separated. Pray this prayer as you read it,
"Jesus, I recognize and admit I am sinner. I have fallen short, I have done evil beyond count. I deserve death and hell. But you have in your mercy died for my sins on the cross and you rose from the dead on the Third Day! I ask that you forgive my sins and that you become my Lord, Savior, and God today, right this minute and second. I believe in you and accept you and commit my life to you Jesus Christ! I believe you are of the Trinity, Father, Son (Jesus), and Holy Spirit. I ask now you fill my heart, soul, body, mind, and spirit with yourself Jesus Christ! Amen."

For follow up I recommend you get a Bible or use the internet to look up Bible verses and chapters. Start reading the Gospel of John Chapters 1-21 (Pay attention to chapters 3 and 6). That will help you have foundation for your new belief. Then I recommend reading 1 John Chapters 1-4. 1 John is a letter, not the Gospel of John. (Note: Rev. Moyer taught me in his book to direct people to 1 John and to the Gospel of John first). Then I would read the Epistles, starting with 1 Corinthians and 2 Corinthians. After them read Galatians, Ephesians, and Romans. From there you will have solid base Biblically. I recommend you get Baptized in Holy Spirit, which you can do wherever you are and after you have prayed the prayer above^. Simply ask the Holy Spirit of the Trinity to fall upon you and ask for the Gifts in 1 Corinthians 12 and the Fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23. Once you are Baptized in the Spirit, I suggest that you spend a lot of time in prayer. You should be praying while you do all of this. You can pray with your eyes open or closed. Closing them makes it easier to focus on Jesus. You can raise your hands up, close your hands together in shape of two fists or rest your hands beside your legs.

Right now the church is in transition all over the world and I worry that you will fall under the spirit of religion if you attend certain churches. You do need to find some devout Christians to fellowship and spend time with; but I do not want you to fall under the Law and religious control of men. Make sure you have read all the books of the Bible I recommended before you go to a church. Make sure to highlight and read them over and over. Again you can buy a Bible at a bookstore, I recommend NASB Holman, ESV, and the newer NIV translations. You can also read the whole Bible on Bible apps like  YouVersion Bible App (free app, tons of translations) and GloBible (paid/have to pay for the app, but more user friendly and organized). You can also as I aforementioned look up whole chapters and verses of the Bible through typing in the book names on Google or other search engines. You'll have access to dozens of translations and be able to find a lot. I recommend Bible Hub for looking up verses and chapters.

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These w

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come and died for our sins an

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few people are endeavo
