I Will versus God's Will

The Fall of Satan (I Will)                                               The Ascension of Jesus Christ (God's Will)

Anything short of God's Will is my will. My will is the same as Satan's Will and thus is rebellion to God. That in nutshell is the message we all need to hear. Any good idea that is not from God is not a good idea. Too often as Christians we think our will and God's is the same. But if we look to Scripture we shall see that is not true. "The hear is wicked above all else." (Jeremiah 17:9). In the Garden of Eden, Satan tempted Adam and Eve with the same thing he did, that was "I Will..." (Isaiah 14:12-15). He told the First Man and Woman that if they tasted of the Forbidden Fruit they would be like God. He was right, they learned the Knowledge of Good and Evil. But what Satan left out was the cost package or consequences. As a result of mankind's mutiny and desire to replace God, we get death. Sure we can precieve right and wrong and even crudely choose between good and evil, but the cost is that we shall perish. Now God had an answer, his ultimate Grace who was Jesus Christ. Jesus came and died on the cross so that the curse could be reversed and we could be in communion with God once again and be free from eternal death.

To put it more simply, in Eden we choose to be God and got death. In Jesus we believe He is God and have eternal life.

We can either partake of the covenant with Satan made in Eden with the Forbidden Fruit and continue to seek and do our will; and thus try to be play God and invitably die. Or we can choose the alternative and let God be God and trust in His Will and surrender our own will and live forever through faith in Christ.

Think about it like this, we can daily take a bite of that Forbbiden Fruit and do our Will but die spiriutally, physically, and eventually die a second time in hell. Or we can take a bite of God's Body, which is the Bread of Life and drink His Blood which is the Wine and live spiriutally, physically, and again in Heaven and the New Earth!

The choice is simple, the excution not so much. Our self will is strong and the seditious seeds in our heart from Adam take plowing up with the Presence of God. We must surrender, we must "die daily," and let Jesus Christ become our only focus. It is time to actually live the Our Father Prayer and "let his kingdom come and His Will be done on earth as it is in heaven." (Matthew 6:10). Jesus even said in Gethesanme, "Not my will, but Your Will be Done Father." (Luke 22:42). The battle of wills is at hand and each of us must decide which we will follow. For many it will be duo-alligance, but in time one Will will triumph over the other (Matthew 6). In the end you can only "serve one of two masters,  You can serve God or Mammon (The System of Money and Man)." (Matthew 6:24). Now following God's Will is not going to be easy. Look at Abraham and the Apostles, they had to defy the reasoning and counsel of their times. It takes courage to follow Christ. But the Lord will never lead you wrong. You may not get what you want, but it will be better than what you could have ever chosen. (Isaiah 55:9).

So who's Will will you serve? Yours/Satan's, which is in defiance to God and is the path to death or will it be God's/Jesus' Will which will bring you into harmony with Him and give you life abundantly.

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. The...

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come...

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few peop...
