The Coming Golden Age

Dr. David Jeremiah has begun plugging his new book called "The Coming Golden Age." In the advertisement he claims that when Jesus Returns we will get to reign with him in Millennium, that is not true, only the beheaded in Christ get to reign then, "I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years" (Revelation 20:4). He then paraphrases the verse, "there will be no more pain, and death will happen only seldomly," that is not what the Scripture says, it does not say death happens only seldomly, it says, "He will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain. These things of the past are gone forever." (Revelation 21:4) and "Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death." (Revelation 20:14). I am always astounded by those claiming to be theologians and top scholars of the Bible can botch things so much. All it takes if for you look these verses up, use Google and you will see that you are wrong, and yet they persist.

If Dr. Jeremiah is wrong about these verses in his Ad, how much more so is this book full of errors? This is why I have been saying for years, make only The Holy Bible, specifically The New Testament, your Spiritual guide book. Do not go to Joel Osteen, David Jeremiah, John Piper, Late Pat Robertson, Thomas A Kempis, or any of the others! They will lead you astray because they already are compromised by their mega church money, "No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money." (Matthew 6:24). They try to do both, but in the end you either elevate The Messiah or Mammon (god of money). I do not have personal vendetta against Dr. Jeremiah, I once recommended a book of his, but I am finding the pitfalls of any text outside Scripture. St. Augustine said a great statment, "our hearts are restless till they rest in Christ," but then in Confessions he says a spirit of light appeared to him and said it was god and taught him all these strange ideas, he clearly did not consult the Scripture, "And no wonder! For Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.." (2 Corinthians 11:14). When Jesus appeared in Light to the Apostle Paul he said, "I am Jesus whom you are persecuting," (Acts 9;5), Christ identified himself right away, he did not continue to masquerade as spirit of light.. like Augustine saw. Paul had confirmed what he learned from Christ with the apostles (Galatians 2:2-10) finding it was same teaching as the other apostles (Acts 2:42). So notice when Paul had Christ appear to Him and teach Him he went and compared it to what the apostles knew and it checked out, in the same way we check our revelations and visions with Scripture, specifically The New Testament, but the Old Testament is valid about not using magics and demonic powers, The Ten Commandments, and not participating in pagan rites and festivals.

We have to be very careful.. anything that is not The 66 Books of Scripture is dangerous. You must carefully test what a teacher has written or said, and the only way you can do that is memorize and know Scripture. Just start out memorizing The New Testament, it is not long, 27 Books, but some are page like Philemon and Jude! Armed with just a New Testament you can debunk false gospels, false teachings, and false prophets and false christs. There is some benefits in Old Testament, but we are under the New Covenant, The New Testament, which the Prophet fortold, "ehold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant that they broke, though I was their husband, declares the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more," (Jeremiah 31:31-34), "And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood," (Luke 22:20), "Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant," (Hebrews 9:15), "In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. And what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away," (Hebrews 8:13), "But as it is, Christ has obtained a ministry that is as much more excellent than the old as the covenant he mediates is better, since it is enacted on better promises," (Hebrews 8:6), "For if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion to look for a second. For he finds fault with them when he says: “Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will establish a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah," (Hebrews 8:7-8), "Who has made us sufficient to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life," (2 Corinthians 3:6), "In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me," (1 Corinthians 11:25). In case there is confusion, New Testament means Will and Testament or Covenant, its another word for how it works, Jesus died for our sins and enacted a New Will of forgiveness for all our sins, and this is the New Covenant.

I urge you in these times and in all times, know The New Testament well, test what these teachers are saying in their books, podcasts, sermons, and etc. Do not just trust what they say, test all things, " to another discernment of spirits [the ability to distinguish sound, godly doctrine from the deceptive doctrine of man-made religions and cults], to another various kinds of [unknown] tongues, and to another interpretation of tongues" (1 Corinthians 12:10 Amplified Bible), and "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already." (1 John 4:1-14). Make no mistake, the devil wants to lead you astray from pure devotion to Christ, "I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ," (2 Corinthians 11:3) and "Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil walketh about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." (1 Peter 5:8). Sadly our enemy most often devours and deceives with people wearing the cloth, wearing crosses, and who have pulpits. He uses false apostles (2 Corinthians 11:13) and false prophets (Matthew 24:24) more often than the wolves of the world. So arm yourself with Scripture, and become strong in the Holy Spirit, so that you may defeat His schemes (2 Corinthians 2:11) and stand firm to the end (Matthew 24:13). Amen.

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. The...

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come...

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few peop...
