The Splendor of His Creation

Our world is a marvelous ecosystem where The Lord Trinity made all creatures, lands, seas, and etc (Genesis Chapter 1 & 2) and All was made through Christ, “Through Him (The Word, Jesus) all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.” (John 1:3), and “For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.” (Colossians 1:16). The splendor of the forests of the seas, the sea weeds, the beauty of the birds and their cheerful song, and the cool wind that makes the trees dance. All of it breathtaking.  Sadly, much if it is eroding, mankind in its mechanical genius is building concrete jungles, overlapping the once serene hills in suburbs, paving over once lush places with asphalt and shops, and the wild life is left trying to cope.

Part of our mandate as Sons of Adam and Daughters of Eve was to steward the Earth, to take care of it and subdue it, “God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue (dominate, govern) it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” (Genesis 1:28). But greed, laziness, and decadence has made us shirk our duty. Last year species when extinct, “The extinct species include eight of Hawaiʻi's precious honeycreeper birds, the bridled white-eye and little Mariana fruit bat of Guam, a Texas fish, nine southeastern mussels, and the Bachman's warbler.” (https://biologicaldiversity.org/programs/biodiversity/elements_of_biodiversity/extinction_crisis/21-extinct-species-of-2023.html#:~:text=The%20extinct%20species%20include%20eight,mussels%2C%20and%20the%20Bachman's%20warbler.). The Serbian Tiger and Elephants are poised to go extinct, the

colorful Chat with its yellow belly is on a watch list due to worry of population growth, the sea weed of the sea that provides 1/3 of our oxygen is being polluted by plastics and chemicals, and we keep harvesting the resources of the earth to the hilt, with silver running out, and some precious gems over harvested to extinction.

We are doing a bad job. And while the Climate Alarmists have been hijacked by political lobbyists, there is something to be said that if we keep harvesting everything to the hilt, discarding our trash in nature, and tearing down God’s wonders to house 6 Billion who all want a five bedroom house with white picket fences and asphalt parking lots, that undoubtedly the ecosystem will be effected and we will see a change in our world, a loss of splendor. I have watched coyotes roam neighborhoods looking for lost creeks, Hawks who had trees they had nested in probably since Genesis looking on despair, and the rise of the lack of peace when the God made nature disappears. I fear we are living in The Lorax by Dr. Sues, particularly the newer movie with Danny Devito. Where we will light up fake trees with tunes and colors, and forget the splendor of God’s creation.

Something’s gotta give. We Stewards have to find a equilibrium between comfort and caretaking this planet! Losing species on this Earth is a travesty! Our Almighty God made them as He did us! We were suppose to steward them and ensure their survival. The people of ancient times knew to not over-harvest, Medieval and Native American Tribes knew when they killed an animal to not just take its meat, but use every part of the animal, horns for weapons and cups, eyes for salves, furs for clothing, and etc. Now we have an assembly line, chickens bred and put so tightly in a cage, the birds look like a ballon of bodies as they defecate on each other unable to move. That is not a life! They are living creatures that if you try to hurt them can scream “help!” They deserve better! I am not saying forgo meat, but we can treat these birds that give their lives to feed us with dignity!

I believe we will not answer only for the shedding of innocent blood (abortion) but for how we treated this planet and creation. That we decided our comfort was worth the cause of Extinction for species, that are decadence was worth the death of forests of both land and sea.  I think its grieves Jesus to see that which was “made through Him and by Him,” being destroyed and lost… I only hope we can wake up  before like in The Lorax (Illumination film) all the trees are gone… Amen.

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. The...

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come...

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few peop...
