You Can Serve Only One Master

The greatest weakness of the modern day church is money. Pastors and their congregations have often side stepped sound doctrine and empowered terrible leaders because of money. Many teachers are careful to groom their teaching to avoid passages that are uncomfortable:

“Better to have little, with fear for the LORD, than to have great treasure and inner turmoil” (Proverbs 15:16)

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matthew 6:19-21)

“"No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.” (Matthew 6:24)

These passages are omitted in most sermons, because they conflict with false prosperity gospel (that following Jesus equals wealth), and name it and claim it delusion that ignores Jesus’ red letter warnings about money and instead adopt a corrupt Mammonist Christianity hybrid.

The Apostle Paul tells us the roof t of evil is money, “For the love of money is the root of all evil. By craving it, some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows,” (Timothy 6:10) and that is clear in that the devil’s fall stems from creating money, “You were the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
13 You were in Eden,
    the garden of God;
every precious stone adorned you:
    carnelian, chrysolite and emerald,
    topaz, onyx and jasper,
    lapis lazuli, turquoise and beryl.
Your settings and mountings were made of gold; on the day you were created they were prepared.
14 You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you.You were on the holy mount of God; you walked among the fiery stones.
15 You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you.
16 Through your widespread trade (commerce) you were filled with violence, and you sinned.
So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God,

and I expelled you, guardian cherubim angel.” (Ezekiel 28:12-16). If money is so dangerous, then why are churches in are churches obsessed with it? Certainly we all need wages to eat, provide shelter, and warmth for our families, but churches covet money and invent schemes to increase their coffers with shows, tithathons, charismatic preachers, and more.  The focus is often the budget, not the Beatitudes, money not the Messiah. Is it any wonder the West is now lost to paganisms and eastern mysticism? That the Nones are starting to outnumber believers?! How long did pastors think they could serve two masters till The Lord Trinity began to judge God’s House, “For it is time for judgment to begin with God's household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?” (1 Peter 4:17)? Our churches have become Babylon, full of greed and lawlessness, and yet they wonder why their pews are empty. Hypocrisy eventually leads to crisis, and the Church of the West is in crisis. The mixed devotion to God and money has lead to a mass exodus of the faithful who seek to serve only Christ.  This blending of the Spirit and money is a cancer that has rotter the Church. You cannot kiss Christ on one cheek, and then fornicate with Mammon and Jezebel! God shall not tolerate idols, and your 501C3 status and lofty steeples and budgets are idols! It is time you choose! Christ or the coin, the cross or the cash sign! You cannot serve both! Amen.

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. The...

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come...

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few peop...
