On What is Worthy and True

Our time on this earth is too short to be preoccupied with outwitting the dark powers. There are people who spend the bulk of their life fighting demons and learning the devil’s stratagems. They open the studies of the Dark Side and fill their minds with shadows and before long they become as mentally ill as the monsters they are trying to defeat.

Life is short and we should be spending It with our eyes fixed upon the Lord Jesus Christ (Hebrews 12:2). Why waste valuable seconds on The schemes of Satan?! Instead shake off the serpents and turn your mind to what is pure and worthy,”   Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think on these things.” (Philippians 4:8). Too often brothers and sisters get seduced into trying to stop the sinister serpents with knowledge of their tactics, arts, and histories. This only leads to bondage. Instead turn your thoughts to noble things, Worthy things, above all Christ our Lord! Do not become preoccupied with devils. I like what Chip Ingram said, “there is an invisible war, we need to be aware of it but not preoccupied with it, don’t go looking for s demon under every bush.”

The enemy’s greatest tactic is to distract you from Christ and to oppress people with lies and nightmarish stuff. Do not pay the Dark One no heed but fix your eyes on Jesus and take every thought captive, “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” (2 Corinthians 10:5). We must make captive every thought and feeling that tries to lead us away from a pure and simple devotion to Christ (2 Corinthians 11:3). Do not yield to the assaults of the enemy that try to mess with your head and heart! Stand firm and fix your eyes on Jesus! (Hebrews 12:2), for He is greater than all (1 John 4:4, Philippians 2:4-11):

Do not try to learn the ways of darkness to destroy it, for many have been shipwrecked, because they took their eyes off the Savior. You must guard your heart and mind, “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7). That peace of God is focusing on Jesus and abiding in Him, not studying the shadow walkers.

So stand firm and don’t pay the ways of Satan any heed. For he had been defeated and his power robbed (Hebrews 2:9, 14-15). Turn your heart and mind upon Jesus and build up that relationship with God Our Savior. Do not fill your mind with the cobwebs of the enemy and the battle plans of the demonic and occult. Instead, let Jesus outshine these dark phantoms who will soon perish in Hell Fire (Matthew 25:41) and their prince of darkness will be tormented forever in the furnace of the Second Death (Revelation 20:10). Let us return to our first love, Jesus Christ, “Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love (loving me and one another). Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the things you did at first, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.” (Revelation 2:4-5).

Above all let us fix our eyes on Jesus and not let anything distract us from Him:

“Fix My Eyes"

Hit rewind, click delete
Stand face to face with the younger me
All of the mistakes
All of the heartbreak
Here's what I'd do differently, I'd

Love like I'm not scared
Give when it's not fair
Live life for another
Take time for a brother
Fight for the weak ones
Speak out for freedom
Find faith in the battle
Stand tall but above it all
Fix my eyes on You
On You

I learned the lines and talked the talk
(Everybody knows it, everybody knows it)
But the road less traveled is hard to walk
(Everybody knows it, everybody knows)
It takes a soldier
Who knows his orders
To walk the walk I'm supposed to walk, and

Love like I'm not scared
Give when it's not fair
Live life for another
Take time for a brother
Fight for the weak ones
Speak out for freedom
Find faith in the battle
Stand tall but above it all
Fix my eyes on You
On You

The things of earth are dimming
In the light of Your glory and grace
I'll set my sights upon Heaven
I'm fixing my eyes on You, on You
I'm fixing my eyes on You, on You
I'm fixing my eyes

Love like I'm not scared
Give when it's not fair
Live life for another
Take time for a brother
Fight for the weak ones
Speak out for freedom
Find faith in the battle
Stand tall but above it all
Fix my eyes on You
On You

I'll fix my eyes on you
(On you)
I'll fix my eyes on you

(On you)” (For King and Country).

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. The...

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come...

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few peop...
