Witchraft in the Orthodox Church

Cobra headed Cross

There is a gift of the Holy Spirit called, the Discerning of Spirits (1 Corinthians 12:10). This manifests in two ways, it allows a born again and spirit filled believer to sense in people the spirits or demons influencing them from within (their souls) and it can sense the demonic element in any ritual, word, behavior, and atmosphere of a site, place, and action of a person, "and to another discernment of spirits [the ability to distinguish sound, godly doctrine from the deceptive doctrine of man-made religions and cults]; to another the ability to discern and distinguish between [the utterances of true] spirits [and false ones];  to another the ability to distinguish between spirits," (1 Corinthians 12:10, AMP, AMPC and ESV), "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world." (1 John 4:1), and, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control (self restraint)," (Galatians 5:22-23); if a church, person, or experience does not have all of these fruits of the Holy Spirit, then it isn't God's Spirit that is perpetrating the ritual and prophecy, and etc. When you are operating in the Holy Spirit's Gift of Discernment, you will know it. Discernment will manifest in a couple of ways, such as headaches, stomach pains, abdominal pain, ear pressure, jaw pain, light headiness, drowsiness  and fatigue for no reason, irritable bowels, diarrhea, chest compression, heart palpitations, insomnia, visions of the evil transpiring, words of knowledge (knowing something only God could know about the person or institution), being about to sense something feels off and dark and wrong in supernatural around an object, person, and etc., seeing in Holy Spirit the demon in someone's countenance, and other such phenomenon around a person, institution, and etc.;  this lets a believer know witchcraft is about; sorcery is being done. There is a strong sense of such discernment around the Eastern Orthodox churches. I know someone who personally experienced among Orthodox priests, headaches, ear aches, and wet blanket of spiritual suffocation while at The Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, which is has many Orthodox priests. The splitting head ache once tormented a person for twenty four hours plus after attending an Orthodox Vigil on Friday. The Jesus Prayer film which features two experts visiting Orthodox shrines in Egypt, Russia, Sinai, and Palestine is so demonically enchanted that it causes Satanic vibes and even demonic oppression to even watch the film. During film, The Jesus Prayer, one priest was asked out rightly, "do you believe Jesus can be close to you [near to you]," and he responded, "no." The Bible disagrees, for it is written, "The LORD is near to broken hearted," (Psalm 34:18), "All who confess that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God," (1 John 4:15), "And Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you life because you have been made right with God.
The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you," (Romans 8:10-11), "For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory," (Colossians 1:27), "Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault," (Colossians 1:22), "For He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless in His presence. In love," (Ephesians 1:4),
"For Christ also suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body, but made alive in the spirit." (1 Peter 3:18).
So the question is how did such demonic serpentine spirit wrap itself around the Orthodox Churches across the world? The answer is forthcoming.

The Eastern Orthodox Church's birth is according to the Orthodox at Acts 2 (circa 33-34 A.D.), when Egyptians and other Syriac and Iranian believers took the religion back to their homelands. However, historically the Eastern Orthodox Church, which contains both Greek Orthodoxy, Russian Orthodoxy, Armenian Orthodox, Syriac Orthodox, and etc; officially came into the world under Constantine The Great Antichrist, in 323 A.D. Constantine ended Christian persecution, but at expense of destroying the church from within. He called for the church to split into two classes: clergy and laity, making professional (paid) class of priesthood which never existed for 300 years, and he designed churches that had trellis to separate the church laity from the sanctuary  with a curtain and altar, when Christ himself had destroyed the curtain separating man and God,"When Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, He yielded up His spirit, At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split," (Matthew 27:50-51), and, "Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by the new and living way opened for us through the curtain of His body." (Hebrews 10:19-20). Christ tore down the curtain, Constantine put it up again. [The Eastern Orthodox Church didn't really have its full identity until 1054 A.D., when the Roman Catholic Church schism and broke away from the Eastern Church, thus creating the Eastern Church in the proper sense]

Constantine paganized Christianity, but this was only the beginning. In Egypt, Eastern Orthodoxy developed a mystical nature, in particular with Antony the Great of Egypt (not to be confused with Latin Antony of Padua, a Catholic saint). Antony spent his years in desert starving his flesh, and battling demons, and most disturbing in his own words in the accounts of Desert Fathers was that he believed demons had a right to claw and torment him to such excess that his body be deformed, and yet the Scriptures does not show this, in contrast, the Gesthernat who had a legion of demons and was cutting himself by their power was completely delivered by Jesus Christ our Lord and God, "Then they sailed to the country of the Gerasenes, which is opposite Galilee. And when He came out onto the land, He was met by a man from the city who was possessed with demons; and who had not put on any clothing for a long time, and was not living in a house, but in the tombs ["Night and day among the tombs and in the hills he would cry out and cut himself with stones," Mark 5:5]. Seeing Jesus, he cried out and fell before Him, and said in a loud voice, “What business do we have with each other, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You, do not torment me.” For He had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For it had seized him many times; and he was bound with chains and shackles and kept under guard, and yet he would break his bonds and be driven by the demon into the desert. And Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” And he said, “Legion”; for many demons had entered him. They were imploring Him not to command them to go away into the abyss. Now there was a herd of many swine feeding there on the mountain; and the demons implored Him to permit them to enter the swine. And He gave them permission. And the demons came out of the man and entered the swine; and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and was drowned. When the herdsmen saw what had happened, they ran away and reported it in the city and out in the country. 35 The people went out to see what had happened; and they came to Jesus, and found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting down at the feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind; and they became frightened. Those who had seen it reported to them how the man who was demon-possessed had been made well. And all the people of the country of the Gerasenes and the surrounding district asked Him to leave them, for they were gripped with great fear; and He got into a boat and returned. But the man from whom the demons had gone out was begging Him that he might accompany Him; but He sent him away, saying, “Return to your house and describe what great things God has done for you.” So he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him." (Luke 8:26-39 NASB). The Mysticism that has snaked into Orthodox Christian churches is an paganism and occult that dates to Jannes and Jambres (Exodus 7:11-15, 2 Timothy 3:8), who turned staffs into snakes by dark arts, and it is the Egypt occult and mysticism that not only has taken hold of Orthodox Church at large, it even caste its spell over certain sects of Judaism that practice Kabala. In the 2nd and 3rd centuries Jews went to sojourn in Egypt and their learned mysticism and Egyptian witchcraft, now called Kabala, and there they discovered the Star of Solomon (which they call the Megan David, or Star of David, but had nothing to do with David). King Solomon got involved in mysticism when he deviated from Wisdom of Lord God and allowed his pagan wives to influence him into their magick and sorceries and homage to occultic gods. Solomon eventually repented, which became his long book Ecclesiastes, but the Star of David was symbol he bore which is actually an ancient Egyptian occultic star that is used in their sorceries.

The key to serpent slithering into the Orthodox Church and Judaism is Egypt. It is always Mystical Egypt, the harlot and counterfeiter that even creates crosses like Ankh and other counterfeits to confuse us Christians and cause havoc. Indeed, take a look at the budded cross above on mosaic. If you look carefully, the budded ends are the heads of cobras if you look at cobra snake from above with its head flat, you will see it has a budded head. The Pharaohs of Ancient Egypt wore cobra and anaconda on their crowns, and held a scepter of python, all three were serpents of witchraft, that they used against nation. Egypt sneaks into the church easily because of "For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world: For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world." (1 John 2:16). Egyptian mysticism and occultic powers have infected the Eastern Churches, and this Egyptian spell is what makes spirit filled Christians have head aches and wet blanket feeling in the spirit. Constantine set the stage for this sorcery to come into the Orthodox churches, but it is the mystics such as Antony the Great, and other ascetics who brought the charmed cobras of Egyptian occultism to that stage. Everything about the Eastern Churches has similarities to Egypt, all the golden icons have Egyptian depictions of Christ and the saints, the iconstasis and altar is bathed in gold, Ancient Egypt had the same gold temples, look no futher than King Tut and Celopatra to see the gold that would inspire the Byzantines, the chief empire of the Eastern Orthodox church. The eye of Osiris is preserved in all seeing eye, or eye of Father. Even the artwork of icons looks like harioglpyics, two dimensional and earthreal, and mystical. The Bishops, and patriachates carrying golden staffs with two snakes kissing, is this not similar to Pharoah staff of snake? The Orthodox priests wear black robes and hats that look almost cobra like; the black color was worn by Egyptian priests of Ancient Egypt in homage and worship of Anubis and other underworld gods of Egypt. The similartiies are striking, and let me be clear are not Biblical, nor what Jesus Christ is about or involved with. One need only read the Gospel of John, Luke, or Mark, and you will find Jesus confronting the Orthodox priests, the Pharisees, "But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you shut off the kingdom of heaven from people; for you do not enter in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in. 14 [Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense you make long prayers; therefore you will receive greater condemnation.Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you travel around on sea and land to make one proselyte (convert, disciple); and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves. Woe to you, blind guides, who say, ‘Whoever swears by the temple, that is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple is obligated.’ 17 You fools and blind men! Which is more important, the gold or the temple that sanctified the gold? 18 And, ‘Whoever swears by the altar, that is nothing, but whoever swears by the offering on it, he is obligated.’ 19 You blind men, which is more important, the offering, or the altar that sanctifies the offering? 20 Therefore, whoever swears by the altar, swears both by the altar and by everything on it. 21 And whoever swears by the temple, swears both by the temple and by Him who dwells within it. 22 And whoever swears by heaven, swears both by the throne of God and by Him who sits upon it. 23 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and cummin, and have neglected the weightier provisions of the law: justice and mercy and faithfulness; but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the others. 24 You blind guides, who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel! Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside they are full of robbery and self-indulgence. 26 You blind Pharisee, first clean the inside of the cup and of the dish, so that the outside of it may become clean also. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which on the outside appear beautiful, but inside they are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. 28 So you, too, outwardly appear righteous to men, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you build the tombs of the prophets and adorn the monuments of the righteous, 30 and say, ‘If we had been living in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partners with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.’ 31 So you testify against yourselves, that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. 32 Fill up, then, the measure of the guilt of your fathers. 33 You serpents, you brood of vipers, how will you escape the sentence of hell?" (Matthew 23:1-28).

Another major confrontation from Christ towards mystical churches like the Eastern Orthodox which emphasize mysteries and secret knowledge is, ""I have spoken openly to the world," Jesus replied. "I always taught in synagogues or at the temple, where all the Jews come together. I said nothing in secret," (John 18:20), and "But I also have a message for the rest of you in Thyatira who have not followed this false teaching ('deeper truths,' as they call them--depths of Satan, actually). I will ask nothing more of you." (Revelation 2:24). Our Lord and God Jesus Christ did not keep secrets, everything He taught was made known to His Disciples who published it (New Testament), and is made known to us Christians via the Holy Spirit (John 14:26, John 15:26).

The Eastern Orthodox churches follow Prima Scriptura, a belief that Scripture and Tradition are paramount; but its crafty, because they consider Scripture among many traditions and ascribe to it primacy and highest honor, and yet their rituals, rites, outfits, iconography, churches, and traditions are in contradiction to the Scriptures, which is nothing new, the Pharisees did the same and Jesus rebuked them: "For you ignore God's law and substitute your own tradition," (Mark 7:8), "These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.Their worship is a farce, for they teach man-made ideas as commands from God," (Matthew 15:8-9), and, "Thus you nullify the word of God by the tradition you have handed down. And you do so in many such matters." (Mark 7:13). A true Orthodox doesn't even believe they are saved, like Catholics they think they can earn salvation, only Orthodox call it regeneration, and use mystical words based on Scripture like "Image of God," but in truth they do not adhere to Christ's own words, "If anyone looks to Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life and be raised at last day," (John 6:40), "If you confess Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart God raised Him from dead you shall be saved, for one is saved by confessing and believing in their heart," (Romans 10:9-10), and "If you confess Jesus is Son of God, God lives in you and you live in God." (1 John 4:15).

It is my prayer that those in Eastern churches be rescued out as we Protestants were from Rome, but reformation would be even better. Alas, because there is so much literal gold in Orthodox churches, and money is in powerful hands, as in same case as Roman Catholic Church, I doubt reform is possible, because it is obvious Rome and Eastern Orthodox churches love money, "No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money." (Matthew 6:24). In addition, the Eastern Orthodox Churches have tried to stay the same for the 1700yrs. There is no intention for them to reform. However, we should pray for Orthodox that they come to revelation that what is important is a relationship with Jesus Christ (John 17:3), to know and believe the Holy Bible (2 Timothy 3:16) and no other books, and to move in Spirit of God (1 Corinthians 12:4-11), and be taught by Holy Trinity in prayer time and beyond (John 14:26, John 15:26), and fully realize that God lives in us, and is not distant (1 John 4:15, John 17:20-23, John 20:21-22). Orthodoxy is an imperial church with Egyptian occultism mixed in. It is perhaps what Jesus meant by, "Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There he is!’ do not believe it," (Matthew 24:23), "And Jesus answered and said to them, See to it that no one misleads you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many," (Matthew 24:4-5), "For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect. Behold, I have told you in advance. So if they say to you, ‘Behold, He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out, or, ‘Behold, He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe them. For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be. Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather," (Matthew 24:24-38), "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves," (Matthew 7:15), and Eastern Orthodox Church does preach another gospel of merit, to which Apostle Paul says, "I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you [c]by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel; which is really not another; only there are some who are disturbing you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed! As we have said before, so I say again now, if any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, he is to be [g]accursed!," (Galatians 1:6-9), and "But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ. For if one comes and preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted, you put up with this way to easily!. For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds." (2 Corinthians 11:2-4, 13-15). The Eastern Orthodox churches teach another gospel and Jesus, just as the Apostle Paul confronted the churches of Galatia and Corinth over. Stay away from Eastern Orthodoxy, and its mystical powers; do not be seduced by its artwork, novelty, and golden domes. Even the icons that are glittering with gold are conduits and transporters, "they are windows to heaven, time traveling doors to those times, and beyond." (ICONS Orthodoxy.com). Stay away from this Egyptian serpent of Eastern Orthodoxy posing as church of saints. It is gold on outside, but inside is full of poisonous serpents. Instead, believe, trust, and follow what Holy Bible, New Testament, says, and move in Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 14, 1 Coritnhians 12:4-11), and be discernful. For Jesus Christ himself says, "Look, I will force those who belong to Satan's synagogue--those liars who say they are Jews but are not--to come and bow down at your feet. They will acknowledge that you are the ones I love." (Revelation 3:9). Remember that we Jews in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:28-29). Amen.

Know Jesus Christ in personal relationship (John 17:3), believe and trust the Holy Bible (Old and New Testament) as the only book for spiritual guidance and is companion to check spirits and methods by the Gift of Discernment (1 Corinthians 12:10, 1 John 4:1), and move in Holy Spirit and learn from Him (John 14:26, John 15:26) and Jesus Christ personally (Matthew 23:10). Beware of Leaven of the Eastern Orthodoxy, and retain your simple and pure devotion to Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 11:2-3). Amen.

The Gift of Discernment can be received if you ask the Holy Spirit for it. The Holy Trinity of Father, Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit will give you what you ask for (Matthew 18:10, Matthew 21:22, Mark 11:24, John 14:13, John 15:16, John 16:23, ). You can apply the Gift not only to Orthodoxy, but to Roman Catholic Church, and even Protestant churches and Evangelical movements that do not meet the Spirit of God, and deviate from Holy Scriptures. While Gift of Discernment is not substitute for Holy Scripture, the two will be in harmony if you operating in it rightly. So use Scripture as complimentary and companion to this Gift, so that you may affirm to yourself you are sensing in Spirit correctly.

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. The...

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come...

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few peop...
