Two Natures of Christ

The Two Natures of Christ is the subject that many avoid. Partially this is because it is delving deep into Christology. The Two Natures is simply the two Natures of Christ, that He is God (Colossians 2:9, John 1:1-18, Titus 2:13, John 10:30), and that He became a Man (1 John 4:1-3, John 1:14). The reason it is crucial to believe the Two Natures of Christ, is that most heresies, false religions, and false Christianities are created by denying one of two natures. Among those who deny divinity or diety of Christ are Hindus, Muslims, Humanists, and Darwinists, among those who deny body of Christ, that He came in body are New Ageists, Nestorians, Arianism, and most Occultic groups.

The Apostle John said of those who refuse to believe in Jesus coming in a body, "This is how we know if they have the Spirit of God: If a person claiming to be a prophet acknowledges that Jesus Christ came in a real body, that person has the Spirit of God.But if someone claims to be a prophet and does not acknowledge the truth about Jesus, that person is not from God. Such a person has the spirit of the Antichrist, which you heard is coming into the world and indeed is already here," (1 John 4:2-3), "For many deceivers have gone out into the world, refusing to confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist," (2 John 1:7). Anyone who denies that Jesus came in flesh is an antichrist. Then those who would dare skip around Christ being God are confronted by Apostle Paul, "Paul, a bond-servant of Christ Jesus, called as an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God, which He promised beforehand through His prophets in the holy Scriptures, concerning His Son, who was born of a descendant of David according to the flesh, who was declared the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead, according to the Spirit of holiness, Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith among all the Gentiles for His name’s sake, among whom you also are the called of Jesus Christ," (Romans 1:1-6), "For in him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily," (Colossians 2:9) and "For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ." (Colossians 1:19), and "The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation, For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him." (Colossians 1:16-17, John 1:3). It is evident from the Scriptures that Jesus is both flesh and God who is Spirit (Romans 8:11). The Two Natures of Christ should make us excited! For it is God the Creator taking on the flesh and body of His own Creation! It is glorious! For the Creator and King of Universe took on the lowly state of human flesh and suffered for our sins on cross (1 Peter 2:24, 1 Peter 3:18, John 19) and rose from dead (Romans 8:11, 1 Thessalonians 4:14).

The reason witches shriek at "Jesus has flesh," or "do you confess Jesus came in flesh," is because to confess Jesus came in flesh proclaims that He died in body on cross for sins for all people (), and it is by blood of Jesus we are saved,  "But God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God," (Romans 5:8-9), "whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed," (Romans 3:25), "In the same way He took the cup also after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me," (1 Corinthians 11:25), "But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things to come, He entered through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation; and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, He entered the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled sanctify for the cleansing of the flesh," (Hebrews 9:11-15), and protected, "They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love Why do Coptic Christians and Muslims refuse to embrace the truth that Jesus is not Just a Man, but also God incarnate? The reason is they believe in distant god, they cannot stand thought of a God of Love (1 John 4:18, John 3:16) who would limit His powers and position to save us humans,
"You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.Though he was God,
he did not think of equality with God
    as something to cling to.
Instead, he gave up his divine privileges;
he took the humble position of a slave
and was born as a human being.
When he appeared in human form,
he humbled himself in obedience to God
and died a criminal’s death on a cross.

Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor
and gave him the name above all other names,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2:6-11).

They other reason is they cannot stand how freeing the Gospel and want to be proud and earn their salvation, they are unable to come to the Truth that Jesus is God, One with Father (John 10:30), and gave Himself for the sins of people, "The gospel of the grace of God awakens an intense longing in human souls and an equally intense resentment, because the truth that it reveals is not palatable or easy to swallow. There is a certain pride in people that causes them to give and give, but to come and accept a gift is another thing. I will give my life to martyrdom; I will dedicate my life to service— I will do anything. But do not humiliate me to the level of the most hell-deserving sinner and tell me that all I have to do is accept the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ." (Utmost For His Highest, November 28th). This is what humiliates the nonbeliever pride, but when we put down our pride of trying to earn salvation through fallen means, and instead turn to Jesus Christ the One True God who took on a body and flesh and died for our sins, and that through believing in Him and knowing Him we have eternal life (John 6:40, John 3:16, Romans 10:9-10).

The Two Natures of Christ are part of what We believe as Christians, we believe the God who made everything, who is a Trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit came in a body; that Son in that Trinity died for our sins in a body and rose again in a new body. Jesus is God and Jesus is Man, He is one hundred precent God and Man. Christ is the One True God in bodily form, He died for our sins, rose from dead, ascended into heaven, and shall return on clouds. The reason I decided to post this is as I said, most false religions, cults, and heresies emerge by people denying either Christ's divinity or Christ's humanity. So beware, many false Christianities like the Jehovah Witnesses, Mormons, Coptic Church, Gnostics, Arians and Nestorians. Stand firm on what Holy Bible teaches, that Jesus is both God and Man, a one time event at culmination of ages, "Otherwise Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world. But he has appeared once for all at the culmination of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself." (Hebrews 9:26), and Jesus was not an angel, but is God and Son of God, "All who confess that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God," (1 John 4:15),
"In the beginning the Word already existed.
    The Word was with God,
    and the Word was God.
He existed in the beginning with God.
Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
The Word gave life to everything that was created,
and his life brought light to everyone.
The light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness can never extinguish it.

God sent a man, John the Baptist, to tell about the light so that everyone might believe because of his testimony. John himself was not the light; he was simply a witness to tell about the light. The one who is the true light, who gives light to everyone, was coming into the world.
10 He came into the very world he created, but the world didn’t recognize him. 11 He came to his own people, and even they rejected him. 12 But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. 13 They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.
14 So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.
15 John testified about him when he shouted to the crowds, “This is the one I was talking about when I said, ‘Someone is coming after me who is far greater than I am, for he existed long before me.’”
16 From his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another.17 For the law was given through Moses, but God’s unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ," (John 1:1-17), and "Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets. And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he created the universe. The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven. This shows that the Son is far greater than the angels, just as the name God gave him is greater than their names.
For God never said to any angel what he said to Jesus:
“You are my Son.
Today I have become your Father.”
God also said,
“I will be his Father,
and he will be my Son.”
And when he brought his supreme Son into the world, God said,[d]
“Let all of God’s angels worship him.”
Regarding the angels, he says,
“He sends his angels like the winds,
his servants like flames of fire.”
But to the Son he says,
“Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever.
You rule with a scepter of justice.
You love justice and hate evil.
Therefore, O God, your God has anointed you,
pouring out the oil of joy on you more than on anyone else.”[g]
10 He also says to the Son,
“In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundation of the earth
and made the heavens with your hands.
11 They will perish, but you remain forever.
They will wear out like old clothing.
12 You will fold them up like a cloak
and discard them like old clothing.
But you are always the same;
    you will live forever.”
13 And God never said to any of the angels,
“Sit in the place of honor at my right hand
    until I humble your enemies,
making them a footstool under your feet.”
14 Therefore, angels are only servants—spirits sent to care for people who will inherit salvation." (Hebrews 1:1-14)

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. The...

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come...

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few peop...
