Hurricane Irma is tearing through the Carribean and is headed for impact with Florida. Irma is largest hurricane in Atlantic history, a category 5 who is leaving devesation in her wake. Following Irma is Hurricane Jose, who has become category 3 Hurricane and is projected to hit St. Martin, Turka and the Caribbean finishing what Irma started. In Mexico a Catigory 8.1 Earthqauke just shook the coast and Tsunami is imminent. A third hurricane, Katia is paused off the Mexican Eastern Coast, and is only at present a catrigory 1 hurricane. In the West of the United States, there are 90 fires purging the land in fire, and consuming million of acres. Castrophie has been losed on the earth, and it is not concidence or some kind of cycle, it is the Wrath of God. Prophets in the Americas are claiming that the Sixth Seal has been broken, "I looked when He broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became like blood; and the stars of the sky fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts its unripe figs when shaken by a great wind. The sky was split apart like a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. Then the kings of the earth and the great men and the commanders and the rich and the strong and every slave and free man hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains; and they said to the mountains and to the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the presence of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; 17 for the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?" (Revelation 6:12-17), and the Sixth Trumpet has been blown, "Then the sixth angel sounded: And I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind. Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them. And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone. By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed—by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths. For their power is in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads; and with them they do harm." (Revelation 9:13-19). It is quite possible according to descriptions in these Revelation prophecies that we are seeing the fulfillment of Scripture before our very eyes. One possible interpretation is that the Four Angels of the Euphrates who rise up to unleash fire and death on earth could be interpreted as the Ninety Wild Fires and the Four Hurricanes: Harvey, Irma, Jose, and Katia.
I find it interesting that right now America is being cleansed in water and fire, fire in West with ninty fires burning and in East hurricanes. For the LORD God judged this world in water, and shall judge with fire. The names of the catastrophes are not coincidental. Hurriance Harvey meant, "iron, blazing." It is written, "on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems, and he has a name written that no one knows but himself. He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God. And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses. From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords." (Revelation 19:11-16). Hurricane Irma means, "World or Universal," which means that "Jesus shall rule the world and judge the world." Hurricane Jose which comes from Joseph means, "May God give increase," and Hurricane Katia means "Pure, Virginal." Interesting, since Harvey indicates Iron of Christ, Irma the World He shall rule, Jose God will Give Increase (of His presence and Judgement), and Katia which is Purity, that this shall purify the Church. In another way of looking at it the entire Holy Family is present, Harvey being Christ since He bears the iron, and Harvey also means blazing, ans it is written God is a consuming fire (Hebrews 12:26), while Jose is Joseph the step father of Jesus, and Katia is the Virgin, the Virgin Mary. Perhaps these are the signs not too dissimilar to the Star of Bethlehem that marked the Messiah's First Coming. Then there is the blazing fires in the Western United States, and it is written that Jesus shall judge with Fire at His Second Coming, "But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed," (2 Peter 3:8-10). The Earthquake in Mexico and coming quakes could be fulfillment of Sixth Seal which as aforementioned describes earthquakes and mountains disappearing, which may not be sinkholes, but mountains sinking beneath heavy waters as in case of a Hurricane.
The Judgement of the Nations is happening, and Christ is Coming Soon. Behold the final and Seventh Seal and Seventh Trumpet are the Return of Christ, "Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying: “We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is and who was and who is to come, Because You have taken Your great power and reigned. The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, And the time of the dead, that they should be judged, And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, And those who fear Your name, small and great, And should destroy those who destroy the earth.”Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail," (Revelation 11:15-19)., "For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first," (1 Thessalonians 4:16), "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." (1 Corinthians 15:52 KJV). It is possible the Sixth Seal, Sixth Trumpet, and Sixth Bowl could happen at same time or in succession, that is first the Sixth Seal, then Sixth Trumpet, and finally Sixth Bowl. The Sixth Bowl is the preparing for Armageddon, " I looked when He broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became like blood; and the stars of the sky fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts its unripe figs when shaken by a great wind. (Revelation 6:12-17). Behold before us is the great judgements of the LORD. These castrophies are part of the end of days. Many eschatology experts believe that events have to be in sequences, but what if the Antichrist is about to rise and Sixth Seal, Sixth Trumpet, and Sixth Bowl could be a sign, the marker to tell us he is about to rise, because put Sixth Seal, Sixth Trumpet, and Sixth Bowl together and you get 666, which is number of the Beast or Antichrist, "He required everyone—small and great, rich and poor, free and slave—to be given a mark on the right hand or on the forehead. And no one could buy or sell anything without that mark, which was either the name of the beast or the number representing his name. Wisdom is needed here. Let the one with understanding solve the meaning of the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. His number is 666." (Revelation 13:16-18). What if this is the wisdom for understanding the meaning of number of the Beast? So many have focused on the actual buying and selling aspect, a definitive indicator of the times, but what if the actual number is significant? That when the Sixth Seal, Sixth Trumpet, and Sixth Bowl happen the Man of Lawlessness rises to power? It would make sense because if you read the Sixth Seal (Revelation 6:12-17). ), Sixth Trumpet (Revelation 9:13-19), and Sixth Bowl (Revelation 16:12-16) its major catastrophes, death, and war; which would cause people to look to someone for answers and thus the antichrist will take his place as false messiah and false savior.
These catastrophes are part of God's Judgement to cause people to repent and believe in One and Only Son of God, Jesus Christ. The tribulation of these days from Harvey to Irma to Earthquakes and fires is part the End of Days Judgement, and partly the result of Original Sin, "Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later. For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are. Against its will, all creation was subjected to God’s curse. But with eager hope, the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God’s children in glorious freedom from death and decay. For we know that all creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time." (Romans 8:18-22). The Curse that came upon all creation when Adam and Eve rebelled and sinned in the Garden of Eden is causing many of catastrophes along with Christ's Judgement on the sinfulness of people today. His Judgement is to lead people to repentance. Judgement or chastisement is not permeant, "For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives," (Hebrews 12:6), but is necessary to as C.S. Lewis said, "pain rouses a deaf world." However, the Wrath of God which is coming soon, when Christ Jesus shall come on the clouds and pour out the Winepress of the Wrath of God Almighty on those who refused to repent and believe in Him is not something a unrepentant sinner can escape, they shall be cut to pieces and thrown into Lake of Fire and tormented forever (Matthew 25:41, Revelation 20:15, Revelation 21:8).
What should we do in middle of these catastrophes? The answer is make disciples. Our Lord and God Jesus told us, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you (all my commands). And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:19-20).In the middle of tempests like Irma and emergencies like the Mexican Earthquake, people need to hear the Good News (Evangelion, The Gospel). Many are hurting and spiritually they are open to hearing the words of Life. That is one of reasons I chose the picture from a book of Evangelism I am reading, I noticed it looks like Hurricanes of water and fire colliding, and bellowing is cross made of jet streams. I thought this quite prophetic, that in the wake of Irma, Jose, and even Katia, and in aftermath of Harvey is the time to sow seed, to share Gospel and live the Gospel. To show the love of Christ, and not hide our Light under bushel (Luke 11:33). In addition, we should be sharing and fellowship the Love of Christ with our suffering brothers and sisters who are in the path of Irma and aftermaths of Harvey and Mexican Quake. For Jesus said, "Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? 39 When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters,[f] you were doing it to me!," (Matthew 25). Proof we Christians are Jesus' brother and sisters is in these verses, "Both the one who makes people holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters," (Hebrews 2:11), "For whoever does the will of God is My brother and sister and mother," (Mark 3:35) and that will is this, "For it is my Father’s will that all who see his Son and believe in him should have eternal life. I will raise them up at the last day." (John 6:40). When you help a brother or sister in Christ you help Christ for Jesus Christ dwells in all who believe in Him:
