Jesus Is Coming Soon!: The Solar Eclipse August 21st 2017 and Other Signs

The Nations are trembling. Rumors of Wars are happening. Pestilence, famine, and death is plaguing the Earth. The signs of the times are before us, the signs of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. There is no doubt that these are The end times. Most prophetic scholars and prophets believe we are in the Last Days, and even secular people are preparing for a Zombie Apocalypse and Doomsday Prepping, which is ironic because the End Times Old Testament Prophet speaks of Zombies, "And the Lord will send a plague on all the nations that fought against Jerusalem. Their people will become like walking corpses, their flesh rotting away. Their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths, On that day they will be terrified, stricken by the Lord with great panic. They will fight their neighbors hand to hand" (Zachariah 14:12). The world has reached tipping point, advancement, ambition, and capital is not satiating the masses anymore. Capitalism is neigh dead, the American Dream is dead, and this new generation wants a cause. The turmoil and chaos that is flooding the earth is foretold in the End Times prophecies of Jesus Christ in Matthew Chapter Twenty Four, The Apocalypse of Jesus (Revelation), Jesus Prophecies in Luke Chapters Thirteen and Seventeen, and the Epistles of the Apostle Paul in 1 Thessalonians and 1 Corinthians. Prophecies of the End Times found in Old Testament Prophets of Zachariah and the New Testament prophecies of Jesus and His Apostles under the influence of the Holy Spirit of the Godhead, are being fulfilled at an alarming rate. In fact, there is a promise that with each successive prophecy, more prophetic signs and wonders happen more rapidly.

The Twenty First of August a phenomenon in the heavens is happening that has many prophets and scholars alarmed. On August 21st, 2017 the entire continent of the United States and Jerusalem, Israel will have a solar eclipse. This is significant because most solar eclipses of this kind are harbingers of judgement in the Bible, and there are eclipses that have major significance, one of them being at Jesus Christ's own crucifixion, "From noon until three in the afternoon darkness came over all the land. And Jesus cried out again with a loud [agonized] voice, and gave up His spirit [voluntarily, sovereignly dismissing and releasing His spirit from His body in submission to His Father’s plan]. And [at once] the veil [of the Holy of Holies] of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; the earth shook and the rocks were split apart," (Matthew 27:35, 50-51), and Jesus foretold at His Second Coming there would be darkness, "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken, Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other [cross ref 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17]." (Matthew 24:29-31). At both the moment Jesus Christ bore our sins and died for them there was darkness, and when He comes on the clouds to collect His saved people there will be darkness! The Apostles and the Prophets Joel and Isaiah confirm that there will be darkness, "I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and clouds of smoke. The sun will become dark, and the moon will turn blood red before that great and glorious day of the LORD arrives (Day of Lord, Revelation 19:11-16). And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved," (Acts 2:19-21), "The sun will be turned into darkness And the moon into blood Before the great and awesome day of the LORD comes," (Joel 2:31), and, "For the stars of heaven and their constellations Will not flash forth their light; The sun will be dark when it rises And the moon will not shed its light." (Isaiah 13:10). Wither or not this coming eclipse (August 21) will be followed by catastrophe, "I looked when He (the Lamb) broke open the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth [made] of hair, and the whole moon became like blood; and the stars of the sky fell to the earth, like a fig tree shedding its late [summer] figs when shaken by a strong wind. The sky was split [separated from the land] and rolled up like a scroll, and every mountain and island were dislodged and moved out of their places" (Revelation 6:12-14), or the Return of Christ (see verses above) is yet to be determined; but I certainly think we should be ready for Christ's Return any moment, "Behold, I am coming like a thief [suddenly in the night]. Blessed is he who stays awake and who keeps his clothes [that is, stays spiritually ready for the Lord’s return], so that he will not be naked—spiritually unprepared—and men will not see his shame." (Revelation 16:15 AMP).

Many prophets and scholars ae being cautious about proclaiming August 21st, 2017 as a sign of the Return and Day of Lord, but there is great concern about its significance. There is no way to be certain anything of major magnitude on geological, sociological, economical, or ecological will happen; but certainly there will be spiritual significance. The signs in the heavens have always predated or taken place during significance events in God's Plan on Earth. There was the day the Sun did not set when Joshua fought the Amorites, "Then Joshua spoke to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the sons of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, "O sun, stand still at Gibeon, And O moon in the valley of Aijalon. So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, till the nation avenged itself on its enemies, as it is written in the Book of Jashar. The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day," (Joshua 10:12-13), there was the three days of no sun light when Egypt was being judged during Exodus, "So Moses stretched out his hand toward the sky, and there was thick darkness in all the land of Egypt for three days. No one could see anyone else or move about for three days. Yet all the Israelites had light in the places where they lived," (Exodus 10:22-23), there was the Star that led the Magi to Bethlehem to see the New Born Jesus, "And the star they had seen in the east guided them to Bethlehem. It went ahead of them and stopped over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they were filled with joy! They entered the house and saw the child with his mother, Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasure chests and gave him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh," (Matthew 2:9-11), there was eclipse right when Jesus died on the cross, "From noon until three in the afternoon darkness came over all the land. And Jesus cried out again with a loud [agonized] voice, and gave up His spirit [voluntarily, sovereignly dismissing and releasing His spirit from His body in submission to His Father’s plan]. And [at once] the veil [of the Holy of Holies] of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; the earth shook and the rocks were split apart," (Matthew 27:35, 50-51), and there foretold prophecies of other lunar and solar events from blood moons before Jesus Returns ((Matthew 24:29-31, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Acts 2:19-21, Joel 2:31, and Isaiah 13:10), and even the sun scorching the Earth with heat, "The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was allowed to scorch people with fire. They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him," (Revelation 16-8-9).

Our eyes need to fixed on Jesus, "Let us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from beginning to end. He did not give up because of the cross! On the contrary, because of the joy that was waiting for him, he thought nothing of the disgrace of dying on the cross, and he is now seated at the right side of God's throne" (Hebrews 12:2). We should remember Christ's Death until He Comes (1 Corinthians 11:26 NLT) on the clouds (Revelation 1:17, Matthew 24:30), and we should be acting as ambassadors reconciling people to Christ before He Returns (2 Corinthians 5:20). However, Jesus and His Apostles did make a note of the signs that would transpire, and we shouldn't shirk them or pretend they aren't significance. The Lord Jesus is Coming Soon. It will be sudden and without warning, "The Kingdom of God can’t be detected by visible signs. 21 You won’t be able to say, ‘Here it is!’ or ‘It’s over there!’ For the Kingdom of God is already among you.”Then he said to his disciples, “The time is coming when you will long to see the day when the Son of Man returns, but you won’t see it. People will tell you, ‘Look, there is the Son of Man,’ or ‘Here he is,’ but don’t go out and follow them. 24 For as the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other, so it will be on the day when the Son of Man comes. 25 But first the Son of Man must suffer terribly and be rejected by this generation. When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day. 27 In those days, the people enjoyed banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat and the flood came and destroyed them all. And the world will be as it was in the days of Lot. People went about their daily business—eating and drinking, buying and selling, farming and building until the morning Lot left Sodom. Then fire and burning sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. Yes, it will be ‘business as usual’ right up to the day when the Son of Man is revealed. 31 On that day a person out on the deck of a roof must not go down into the house to pack. A person out in the field must not return home. 32 Remember what happened to Lot’s wife! 33 If you cling to your life, you will lose it, and if you let your life go, you will save it. 34 That night two people will be asleep in one bed; one will be taken, the other left. 35 Two women will be grinding flour together at the mill; one will be taken, the other left.”“Where will this happen, Lord?” the disciples asked. Jesus replied, Just as the gathering of vultures shows there is a carcass nearby, so these signs indicate that the end is near.” (Luke 17:1-37).

The Word of God will descend upon the world with an army, "Then I saw heaven opened, and a white horse was standing there. Its rider was named Faithful and True, for he judges fairly and wages a righteous war.  His eyes were like flames of fire, and on his head were many crowns. A name was written on him that no one understood except himself. He wore a robe dipped in blood, and his title was the Word of God [John 1:1-18]. The armies of heaven, dressed in the finest of pure white linen, followed him on white horses. From his mouth came a sharp sword to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. He will release the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty, like juice flowing from a winepress. On his robe at his thigh was written this title: King of all kings and Lord of all lords." (Revelation 19:11-16) to judge the wicked and catch us up with Him (). Make no mistake, the Messiah, Alpha and Omega will come to trod the winepress of God's Wrath; the nations will be stepped upon and judged for their rebellion. While certainly there will be time before Christ's Return of persecution of the Saints (Revelation 13:7, Revelation 14:12), we must remember our blessed Hope in in Christ Jesus of the Godhead (Trinity). He will see us through these uncertain times, when the hearts of men are turning black, and love is growing cold. It behooves us to look to Him, who is Faithful and True (Revelation 19:11), and not be distracted by the demons and devilish peoples. Before us are exciting events, and even now we see Horsemen riding, the Seals breaking, and hear the Trumpets blowing.

Israel’s Conquest of Canaan: The Nephilim and Giants

Christianity Today asserts that the conquest of Canaan can be a “stumbling block” for believers. This probably is because of a foolish idea of comparing it to a modern conquest happening in our world. The truth is that God had Israel conquer Canaan because it was ruled by evil giants, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:33). These are Anakim or Nephilim, the children of angels and human women, “When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (angels) saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These w

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. According to Darb'ys doctrine of Dispensationalism, God dispenses different covenants. There are total of seven dispensations that divide the history of man: I. Dispensation of Innocence (prior to the Fall, "Do not east of the Fruit of Good and Eve, Eden), II. Dispensation of Conscience ( You must assuage guilt and sin with blood sacrifices.) III. Dispensation of Human Government (Multiply and Subdue the world, example the Tower of Babel Gen 11:1-9, and Genesis 1:28). IV. Dispensation of the Promise (Dwell in Canaan, Jerusalem) V. Dispensation of the Law ("Obey the Law of Moses and the Prophets"). VI. Dispensation of Grace (The Church, Jesus Christ has come and died for our sins an

Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few people are endeavo
