Idolatry is a major problem in the Church today. It was a problem back in 33 A.D. and even before that. Jesus said, "Blessed are pure in heart for they shall see God." (Matthew 5:8). What does it mean to be pure in heart? It means to have undefiled soul, and it alludes to what Jesus says later, "The Greatest commandment is to Love the Lord (Jesus and Jehovah, see Romans 10:9) your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, this is the greatest and foremost commandment." (Matthew 22:36-38). This command of Christ is in effect paying homage to first four commandments given to Moses, "I am the Lord (Jehovah) your God, who rescued you from the land of Egypt, the place of your slavery. You must not have any other god but me. You must not make for yourself an idol of any kind or an image of anything in the heavens or on the earth or in the sea. You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods." (Exodus 20: 2-4). The Lord will not tolerate other gods and yet the Church and the proto-church known as the Temple did.
There was major polytheism (worship of many gods) in Canaan, the Israelites worshipped Jehovah/Yahweh and other gods, specifically Ashtoreth, Queen of heaven (Jeremiah 44:19). Ashtoreth was fertility goddess, goddess of sex, and war. The Israelites foolishly believed she was wife of Yahweh, when she really is the wife of Baal. The Lord confronts this worship and says, "It will come about in that day," declares the LORD, "That you will call Me Ishi And will no longer call Me Baali/ “And in that day, declares the LORD, you will call me ‘My Husband,’ and no longer will you call me ‘My Baal." (Hosea 2:16). The Lord was tired of being called Baal, for He is not a god of war and power. What Jehovah reveals to Hosea is that He has no wife named Ashtoreth, but His wife will be His people, for He is Husband (Ishe). We see this appear in New Testament, "Jesus answered, "How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while he is with them? The time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast," (Matthew 9:15), "For I am jealous for you with the jealousy of God himself. I promised you as a pure bride to one husband--Christ," (2 Corinthians 11:2, NLT), and "Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear." (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God's holy people.) Then the angel said to me, "Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!" And he added, "These are the true words of God." (Revelation 19:7-9).
A particular tribe, Asher of the Twelve Tribes of Israel worshipped Ashtoreth, which as aforementioned is the goddess of fertility and war. She is also known as Ishtar (Eastre, Easter), Isis, and has an equivalent in every religion on the face of the earth, including sadly in the Roman Catholic Church through Marian Worship whom Catholics call "Queen of Heaven" just as she was called by her worshipper in antiquity. Interestingly, the worshippers of Ashtoreth, Queen of heaven noticed when they abandoned their prayers this happened,
"But since we stopped burning sacrifices to the queen of heaven and pouring out drink offerings to her, we have lacked everything and have met our end by the sword and by famine."And," said the women, "when we were burning sacrifices to the queen of heaven and were pouring out drink offerings to her, was it without our husbands that we made for her sacrificial cakes in her image and poured out drink offerings to her? Then Jeremiah said to all the people, to the men and women-- even to all the people who were giving him such an answer-- saying, "As for the smoking sacrifices that you burned in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, you and your forefathers, your kings and your princes, and the people of the land, did not the LORD remember them and did not all this come into His mind? "So the LORD was no longer able to endure it, because of the evil of your deeds, because of the abominations which you have committed; thus your land has become a ruin, an object of horror and a curse, without an inhabitant, as it is this day. "Because you have burned sacrifices and have sinned against the LORD and not obeyed the voice of the LORD or walked in His law, His statutes or His testimonies, therefore this calamity has befallen you, as it has this day. …24Then Jeremiah said to all the people, including all the women, "Hear the word of the LORD, all Judah who are in the land of Egypt, thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, as follows: 'As for you and your wives, you have spoken with your mouths and fulfilled it with your hands, saying, "We will certainly perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn sacrifices to the queen of heaven and pour out drink offerings to her." Go ahead and confirm your vows, and certainly perform your vows!' "Nevertheless hear the word of the LORD, all Judah who are living in the land of Egypt, 'Behold, I have sworn by My great name,' says the LORD, 'never shall My name be invoked again by the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, "As the Lord GOD lives." 'Behold, I am watching over them for harm and not for good, and all the men of Judah who are in the land of Egypt will meet their end by the sword and by famine until they are completely gone. 'Those who escape the sword will return out of the land of Egypt to the land of Judah few in number. Then all the remnant of Judah who have gone to the land of Egypt to reside there will know whose word will stand, Mine or theirs. 'This will be the sign to you,' declares the LORD, 'that I am going to punish you in this place, so that you may know that My words will surely stand against you for harm." (Jeremiah 44:18-29). We see that women had been serving the Queen of heaven and burning incense to her, and since they stopped they have been hit with plague and famine. Jeremiah reveals that the calamity is punishment for their long idolatry against the LORD.
Jesus Christ mentions leaving people behind, He says, "Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles? And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS," (Matthew 7:23-23), "But while they were gone to buy oil, the bridegroom came. Then those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was locked. Later, when the other five bridesmaids returned, they stood outside, calling, ‘Lord! Lord! Open the door for us!’ But he called back, ‘Believe me, I don’t know you!’ So you, too, must keep watch! For you do not know the day or hour of my return." (Matthew 25:10-13). Jesus leaves the five virgins or bridemaids, because they did not keep watch and did not know Him. The word Know is actually found elsewhere in Bible, "Now Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and bore Cain, saying, “I have gotten a man with the help of the LORD," (Genesis 4:1), and "Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?" (Luke 1:34). The word know in these cases means to have sexual relations, the reason Jesus uses same word in those verses is it pays homage back to that fact that we are His Bride and He is the Bridgegroom of God, and we are not to have idolatry/adultery with other gods; its symbolism. We are suppose to be faithful only to the Trinity, to the One True God, and serve no other gods, that is point of what Jesus is saying. You cannot know both Jesus and other gods, Jesus says this about another god, "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon (god of money)." (Matthew 6:24).
It is clear that Jesus who is One with Father (John 3:10) does not tolerate knowing other gods and yet it continues in Church! Many still burn incense to Ashteroth, to the Queen of Heaven by erecting poles (Micah 5:14) in honor of her by seeking fertility and war. The husband of the Queen of Heaven, Ashteroth is mammon, Satan, "In your great pride you claim, ‘I am a god!

Because Churches focus on money as well as Jesus, they serve God and Mammon, and so are idolaters. The wife of Mammon/Satan is Ashtoreth who is Queen of Heaven and she is goddess of war, because her other form is Isis whose symbol is a throne, interesting that ISIS who is current proponent of war in world is named after her. So you see, many are serving more gods than the One True Triune God. Ashtoreth is goddess of fertility, sexuality, and war, and so she is married to Satan/Mammon, so this is why men who serve Mammon in church often stumble in sexual immorality. The world serves Ashtoreth and Mammon who are wife and husband, because the world runs on money (Mammon's creation, Satan's see Ezekiel 28 again above), and to get more wealth men wage war through Ashtoreth, and want fertility to have more children to continue their dynasty or empire, and want pleasures of sexuality all of which come from her. The Church sadly is embroiled in this same idolatry, only they add lying on top of it. Pastors and priests are as much servants of Jesus as they are Mammon (Satan) and Ashtoreth. They want like women Jeremiah confronted, to have an easy life with pleasure (sexuality), posterity (fertility, children), and even war (sometimes by pen, causes) with the main currency and money that drives all of it and makes it possible coming from Mammon who is Satan (Ezekiel 28, Isaiah 14).
37 “Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? 39 When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’
40 “And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters,you were doing it to me!’
41 “Then the King will turn to those on the left and say, ‘Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his demons.[d] 42 For I was hungry, and you didn’t feed me. I was thirsty, and you didn’t give me a drink. 43 I was a stranger, and you didn’t invite me into your home. I was naked, and you didn’t give me clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn’t visit me.’
44 “Then they will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you?’
45 “And he will answer, ‘I tell you the truth, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me.’
46 “And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life.” (Matthew 25:31-46).

It is clear the devil invented merchandise/commerce, and he knew jewels, gold, and silver; so he must have revealed them to man, explaining why humans fight to obtain them for wealth and become corrupt like Lucifer did.

The Church needs purification, to surrender to Jesus who is Lord and ask, "create in me a pure heart O God and renew a right spirit within me." (Psalm 51:10). All this idolatry, trying to serve Lord and Mammon and Ashtoreth is impossible! This is why church is becoming ineffective, and why America and many former Christian nations have been lost. God is tired of the polytheism, idolatry, and worship of other gods. He is coming with sword to cleanse, "Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. "From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, "KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. And the winepress was trodden outside the city, and blood flowed from the winepress, as high as a horse’s bridle, for 1,600 stadia (180 Miles)." (Revelation 19:15, Revelation 14:18-19).
Those who have stayed pure, like five virgins with their lamp oil lit (Matthew 25:1-13), and those who keep watch and know Jesus Christ only, forsaking other gods, will be taken into Wedding supper of Lamb (Revelation 19:9), and they will have eternal life (John 3:16, John 3:36), they will live in New Jerusalem (Revelation 21:2-22) that comes down to New Earth (Revelation 21:1). The time of cleansing and separating is happening already. Christ is separating the Sheep and Goats,

It is time to stop serving other gods! There is One God, who is Three named Father, Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit. There is no other gods, all other pretender gods are the fallen angels masquerading as gods (Genesis 6:1-5, Revelation 12:9). Let your hearts, minds, spirits, and bodies be purified by Jesus Christ! Come out of the Harlot! "Then I heard another voice from heaven say: 'Come out of her, my people,' so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues;
for her sins have piled up as high as heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities." (Revelation 18:6, the Harlot Babylon). This harlot is Ashtoreth, she beguiles many into worshipping her, especially in the Church of Rome as Queen of Heaven, her old namesake (Jeremiah 44:19-23). She leads men to her husband Satan-Mammon, "When the kings of the earth who committed adultery with her and shared her luxury see the smoke of her burning, they will weep and mourn over her. 10Terrified at her torment, they will stand far off and cry:
“ ‘Woe! Woe to you, great city,
you mighty city of Babylon!
In one hour your doom has come!’
11“The merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her because no one buys their cargoes anymore— 12cargoes of gold, silver, precious stones and pearls; fine linen, purple, silk and scarlet cloth; every sort of citron wood, and articles of every kind made of ivory, costly wood, bronze, iron and marble; 13cargoes of cinnamon and spice, of incense, myrrh and frankincense, of wine and olive oil, of fine flour and wheat; cattle and sheep; horses and carriages; and human beings sold as slaves.
14“They will say, ‘The fruit you longed for is gone from you. All your luxury and splendor have vanished, never to be recovered.’ 15The merchants who sold these things and gained their wealth from her will stand far off, terrified at her torment. They will weep and mourn 16and cry out:
“ ‘Woe! Woe to you, great city,
dressed in fine linen, purple and scarlet,
and glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls!
17In one hour such great wealth has been brought to ruin!’
“Every sea captain, and all who travel by ship, the sailors, and all who earn their living from the sea, will stand far off.
18When they see the smoke of her burning, they will exclaim, ‘Was there ever a city like this great city?’
19They will throw dust on their heads, and with weeping and mourning cry out:“ ‘Woe! Woe to you, great city,
where all who had ships on the sea
became rich through her wealth!
In one hour she has been brought to ruin!’
20“Rejoice over her, you heavens!
Rejoice, you people of God!
Rejoice, apostles and prophets!
For God has judged her
with the judgment she imposed on you.” (Revelation 18, notice all gold and gems which allude to Satan clothing in Ezekiel 28). Behold Vatican City, the Center of St. Peter's, the Roman Catholic Church is Babylon the Great, the Harlot and servant of Ashtoreth Queen of Heaven whom they invoke in name Mary Queen of Heaven! The Pope has declared idolatry before God, ""The Lord has redeemed all of us, all of us, with the Blood of Christ: all of us, not just Catholics. Everyone! 'Father, the atheists?' Even the atheists. Everyone! And this Blood makes us children of God of the first class. We are created children in the likeness of God and the Blood of Christ has redeemed us all. And we all have a duty to do good. And this commandment for everyone to do good, I think, is a beautiful path towards peace. If we, each doing our own part, if we ...do good to others, if we meet there, doing good, and we go slowly, gently, little by little, we will make that culture of encounter: We need that so much. We must meet one another doing good. 'But I don't believe, Father, I am an atheist!' This violates the Truth of Gospel, "Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me," (John `4:6), "And anyone who believes in God's Son has eternal life. Anyone who doesn't obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God's angry judgment," (John 3:36), "Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life," (John 5:24), "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God, This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed" (John 3:16-20), "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved," (Romans 10:9), and "They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved--you and your household," (Acts 16:31). The Pope is cursed and is preaching a false christ, and so is his church!, "But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God's curse!" (Galatians 1:8), "For if someone comes and proclaims a Jesus other than the One we proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit than the One you received, or a different gospel than the one you accepted, you put up with it way too easily," (2 Corinthians 11:4), "For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear," (2 Timothy 4:3), "At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other," (Matthew 24:10), "For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect," (Matthew 24:24), and "I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?" (Luke 18:8).
Stop serving other gods! Turn to Jesus Christ, for His Return is neigh soon! At any hour He may appear and most of the Church is sleeping with Harlot Babylon (Revelation 18)! Come out of her! Repent, be zealous to repent (Revelation 3:19). Do not be caught as an idolater/adulterer! Stop trying to serve Jesus Christ and Satan & His wife Ashtoreth (Isis)! The Bridegroom, the King of Kings and God of gods (Lord means Jehovah, so Lord of Lords means God of gods) is coming back! Do not be found serving the devil and his depraved wife! Store up not treasures of this Earth that are made by Mammon (Satan) and peddled by his bride Ashteroth, but instead follow Jesus Christ's own words O church! "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust[a] destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." (Matthew 6:19-21). Remember that your heart must be pure, "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded." (James 4:8). Now is the time purify yourselves in Jesus Christ before He Comes and you are found caught in idolatry! Repent! Repent! Turn from this sin of idolatry, and serve Jesus Christ with your whole heart, mind, spirit, soul, body, and strength!

Repent, be zealous to repent (Revelation 3:19). Do not be caught as an idolater/adulterer! Stop trying to serve Jesus Christ and Satan & His wife Ashtoreth (Isis)! The Bridegroom, the King of Kings and God of gods (Lord means Jehovah, so Lord of Lords means God of gods) is coming back! Do not be found serving the devil and his depraved wife!
