Our Bible Has Been Changed

 


The Septuagint alone has recovery of the sight of the blind in Isaiah Chapter 61:1:


“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me; he has sent me to preach glad tidings to the poor, to heal the broken in heart, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind..” (Isaiah 61:1, Septuagint). 

Jesus quotes The Septuagint in the Gospel of Luke: 

“The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to release the oppressed, / to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” (Luke 4:18-19). 


Most translations use The Masoretic Text which removes the recovery of the blind’s sight:

The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,


New Living Translation

The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is upon me, for the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed.


English Standard Version

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.


King James Bible

The Septuagint Old Testament was compiled in 60 B.C. Which is before Jesus was born, ministered, was crucified and rose from the dead (1-33 A.D.) The Septuagint was before attempts to hide Jesus in the Old Testament because everyone back in Roman occupied Judea was zealous to discover the Messiah and Bridegroom. The Masoretic Text is 700-1000 A.D. and thus is a Medieval Translation and removes verses, paragraphs, and even chapters because The Jews wanted to remove any proofs Jesus is The Messiah and The Lord. The line “he will recover the sight of the blind,” in Isaiah 61:1 Septuagint proves Jesus is the foretold Christ, “Then Jesus laid his hands on his eyes again; and he opened his eyes, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly,” (Mark 8:22-26), and “Jesus replied, “Go back and report to John what you hear and see: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, the lepers l are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor.” (Matthew 11:4-5). Once again Jesus in this passage is quoting Isaiah 61:1 Septuagint, but if you have any Bible now, Protestant or Catholic, it omits Isaiah 61:1 verse Jesus is quoting, which is a proof He is the Christ and Lord! So this removal by Jews in Masoretic Text that is Medieval is insidious! Martin Luther didn’t trust St. Jerome who mistranslated things into The Latin Vulgate, he went back to the Koine Greek New Testament, to the ancient text itself, in the same way we must recover the Old Testament in its Greek Septuagint! 


The only easy to access and not too expensive English Septuagint Bible with Old and New Testaments is The Orthodox Study Bible: Ancient Christianity Speaks To Today’s World, Nelson House Publishers, Published June 17, 2008 (post pic is it). I highly recommend it to fellow Christians who would like to read The Old Testament as Jesus and His Apostles quoted it. We have allowed the Jews too much freedom with The Old Testament translations. They do not believe in Jesus, and so why would we trust that they would not scrub Him form our Old Testament? We need to stick to translations from Greek Septuagint and Koine Old and New Testaments which date from 60 B.C. and 54-100 A.D., the ladder close to the time Jesus and hIs Apostles lived. The Septuagint is unaltered by antichrist prejudices due to its date being before Christ. Thus it and Koine New Testament are trustworthy. Amen.

Dispensationalism

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) was a man who did two things, he took 70th week of the Book of Daniel and stretched out to the End Times, and he was the father of  Dispensationalism , a belief system that God dispenses different peoples with separate blessings and covenants. Jesus’ Name in Aramaic

There has been a trend to render Jesus’ name Hebrew, יֵשׁוּעַ , Yeshua. The problem is neither Christ nor his apostles, nor the Jews in 30-33 A.D. spoke Hebrew, they spoke Aramaic. A ramaic is the oldest language on earth and was the language Jesus spoke. In fact, the oldest Old Testament is the Septuagint a Greco translation around 132 B.C.E. (165 Years Before Christ)that was translated from Aramaic. The Masoretic Text, The Hebrew Old Testament most Bibles use, dates from 7th to 10th Century A.D. (Medieval Times).  This translation does not cross reference with the words of Christ in the New Testament which are Aramaic and Koine Greek.  If the Aramaic was what Jesus spoke, then by what name would have been called? Jesus’ name in Aramaic is Isho or Eesho, spelled ܝܫܘܥ . That is the name of our Lord in Aramaic! He would have heard his name in this dialect, “Hail Isho or Eesho!” as well as the Greek, Ἰ ησο ῦ ς , Iesous.  Aramaic is disappearing, only a few peop...
